Chapter 43: Nonsense

Chapter 43: Nonsense

Ning Che had a premonition: Fu Chengyun was angry.

He subconsciously wanted to explain, "I--" but there was a busy tone on the other end of the phone.

The phone was still held to his ear. He was in a daze for a moment, and suddenly felt a little angry.

Fu Chengyun dares to hang up on me!

Play!

Play with abandon!

That petty person is so mad!

"You said the top performer is here?" Ning Che pulled Lizi.

Lizzie had gathered a few boys she knew, and they were drinking and playing games together. When he asked, she looked around but didn't see anyone, so she casually said, "Maybe he got tripped by another guest on the way upstairs. It's a common occurrence for a top star like her!"

She pushed the man and woman next to her and said generously, "It's okay, I'll split it up between you two. You go over there and keep this little brother company."

Without waiting for the two to come over, a man in a suit and tie sat down next to Ning Che.

"Why are you sitting alone?"

Seeing this, Li Zi quickly introduced Ning Che. "This is my former classmate Li Chang. He just came back from abroad. By the way, it seems that his company has a cooperation with yours."

Li Chang smiled politely at Ning Che and took two steps forward, almost sticking to Ning Che. "Why haven't I heard Li Zi mention that there are such stunning beauties in our circle?"

He raised an eyebrow at Ning Che and said with a smile, "Are you used to the wine I gave you?"

Ning Che had always been cautious, never easily touching food or drinks offered by strangers. But now he was feeling frustrated and wanted to be willful for once. After all, those two bodyguards were standing on both sides of the booth!

The clear liquid in the goblet swirled along the sides, shimmering with light and dark luster under the light. He raised it to his lips and took a sip. The aroma was very light, mixed with the sweetness of honey, and a hint of lemon aftertaste.

It's a taste he can accept.

"Not bad." Ning Che raised his wine glass and gently touched Li Chang's high-heeled glass with a faint smile.

They both raised their heads and drank it all in one gulp.

Li Chang waved to the waiter, and two more glasses of the same drink were brought up. "If you like it, drink it to your heart's content."

After saying that, he leaned over to Ning Che's ear and whispered ambiguously, "The third floor here is the guest room, which is only open to VIP customers. It is very private."

The smell of alcohol rushed into my ears, sticky and turbid.

Ning Che moved to the side, keeping a distance from him, with an indifferent expression.

He was not interested in the smell of this person, and even felt a little disgusted.

He didn't touch the two glasses of wine on the coffee table. He just leaned back in his chair, his eyes fixed on the dance floor on the first floor, wandering around boredly.

Seeing that he had stopped moving, Li Chang thought he was trying to fight with him. He leaned over, picked up the cocktail and handed it to Ning Che. "Don't be embarrassed, let's continue."

The goblet was caught by another hand. The hot girl in the booth on the left stood next to Ning Che. She picked up the glass and poured it directly onto the carpet, then picked up another glass of wine and handed it to Ning Che.

"Margaritas are for silly people like Lizzie. Long Island Iced Tea is more suitable for you."

Ning Che didn't look at anyone, he just stared at the wine.

The amber liquid matched the dim light better, and the strong smell of alcohol brought back some memories of the past.

When he was young, whenever there was a breakthrough within the sect, the leader would throw a grand feast. Naturally, the immature youth was bound to be teased by the higher-ranking members. He guzzled jar after jar of expensive liquor he'd looted, vomiting, drinking again, until he collapsed on the ground, completely drunk. His mouth no longer reeked of alcohol, only the stench of rust filling his lungs.

He struggled to crawl on all fours on the square bricks, knocking his head against the gold-embroidered uppers of the leader's shoes. He grinned with a green face, the bright red still lingering on his white teeth. "Thank you, leader, for the wine," he said, just to show his foolish embarrassment and please the leader and the higher-ups.

They were happy, and he lived.

The vodka and rum mixed with the sweetness of cola, the bubbles bursting in the mouth, giving people a momentary sense of freshness. The ice cubes masked the stimulation of the liquor, and the novel experience on the taste buds diluted those sour past memories.

Ning Che took small sips of the wine, his eyes moving from the drink to the graceful figure beside him.

The girl had long, wavy blond hair and delicate makeup. Her black, off-the-shoulder skirt tightly hugged her ample breasts and hips, making her look incredibly sexy. She stared at him with eyes full of tenderness.

Ning Che understood, of course. He was not one for sexual indulgence or promiscuity. But hanging out and teasing men and women was also a form of entertainment.

Does he have to waste his time every day, standing by the window and being Fu Chengyun's canary?

Tsk! Who cares!

He patted the sofa beside him and said, "Sit down."

After getting the response, the girl became more aggressive and sat down next to Ning Che.

The top business districts are dominated by those same families, and their children are often seen at schools and banquets. Li Chang scoffed, "Oh, who am I supposed to be? Is the second daughter of the Wang family out to play too?"

"Hmph! What's it to you?" Wang Mei rolled her eyes at him and retorted, "Don't you like that blond-haired girl? Why are you flirting with that innocent little brother again?"

Her long, pointed nails pressed against the chest of her sweatshirt, and she hooked the knot on one side and played with it. Her voice was sweet and greasy, "Little brother, why haven't I seen you before?"

There is no truth in flirting, and there is certainly none in Ning Che's mouth.

He leaned back, stroking his blond hair with his palm, a half-smile on his face. "Aren't you blond?" He glanced at Li Chang with his phoenix eyes, a teasing smile on his lips. "Am I the one who took over your position?"

"No~" Wang Mei said coquettishly, her body softening as she burrowed into Ning Che's arms. "Do you like blondes?"

The back of his neck was completely exposed to Ning Che. The rum tasted sweet, but he only felt sour and spicy.

Ning Che frowned. The smell was unpleasant.

--Next!

His expression changed faster than turning the pages of a book. He tilted his head back and drank the wine in one gulp. In the act of putting the glass down, he unnoticedly pushed his chest away. He moved his body toward the outside, sitting alone in a corner, his expression cold.

The sound grew louder, and a frenzied dance was underway on the first-floor stage. Two men twisted their bodies, moving closer and closer as they danced. The dance floor was packed, and the cheers made him dizzy.

This brothel was messy and noisy, not as elegant and quiet as theirs. He turned his head to look at Lizzie, wanting to pull her home.

But the girl was surrounded by men, hugged by them, having a great time. It was as if the person who was crying sadly just now was an illusion.

Never mind, playing is better than crying.

Swallowing the words in his throat, Ning Che lowered his head and pressed his brows, and a pair of shiny leather shoes appeared in his sight.

The blonde top star stood before Ning Che with a beaming smile on her face, her naked upper body glistening with sweat. Her muscles were full and smooth, the type that would make both men and women drool.

The top star does have two looks.

Ning Che looked up at him, without saying a word, just letting his eyes slide over him.

Unfortunately, I don't like big muscles.

The staff of this store cannot choose the customers, but they have plenty of ways to make the customers choose them.

The blonde sat directly on the edge of the coffee table in front of Ning Che, his emerald eyes gleaming in the dark night. His eyes were eager, revealing his undisguised seduction and allusions to the guest.

"Why don't you try our signature drink, handsome boy? All the customers who have tried it say it's delicious."

The top performer was straightforward, holding the goblet to Ning Che's lips. Leaning forward, arms folded, revealing a full and voluptuous figure.

Ning Che raised his hand to push his ponytail over his shoulder. Wang Mei came closer again, grabbed his hand, and looked obsessed.

He didn't have such a good temper, and he suppressed his nausea and didn't pull his hand away.

Now he had to find something to do with his hands, otherwise he might slap the blonde top star in the face in the next second.

The blond was too close to him, so close that even though he tried his best to control his breathing, he could still smell his pheromones mixed with sweat.

It tastes salty, sour and smelly like a yellowed towel.

Seeing that he didn't say anything, the blonde tried in a very ambiguous tone: "Strawberry Daiquiri, don't you want to try it?"

strawberry? !

He had endured famine and hardship countless times. Ning Che knew that people could be annoying, but food was innocent.

He was already extremely impatient. He was surrounded by three nasty pheromones in a 360-degree, unobstructed manner. The air around him seemed to be sticky and every breath was filled with the smell of decay.

My head felt swollen, the scenery before my eyes seemed hazy, and I felt a wave of nausea in my chest.

He wanted to just flip the table and leave.

But for the sake of the strawberry, he still opened his lips slightly and pecked it lightly.

The alcohol taste is very light, with a rich strawberry aroma, icy and cool, sour and sweet. The fresh taste dissipates the turbidity, and one bite directly catches a black carp.

“It’s really good.”

A beautiful curve appeared on her lips, and her desire to hit someone was slightly weakened.

Ning Che's eyes were filled with strawberry wine, so much so that he didn't even notice the golden retriever approaching.

"If it tastes good, brother, can you feed it to me with your mouth?" The golden retriever smiled foolishly, his shoulders shaking slightly.

"Not good!" A low, cold voice cut through the noise.

The voice was majestic and powerful, and just one sentence was enough to shock everyone.

But Ning Che heard a hint of sadness in the ending tone.
