18. Chapter 18: The Alchemist's Talent

"What do you mean?" Su Luo expressed confusion.

Nangong Liuyun didn't know what went wrong. He tapped Su Luo's forehead and said, "Don't worry, you are definitely a genius among geniuses. No one can deny that. It's just that the process may be a little difficult. But you've waited for ten years, so you don't mind waiting a few more days, right?"

"Hmm?" Su Luo looked at him steadily. "Could it be that I am a special case for suddenly taking it back?"

Nangong Liuyun looked at her sympathetically and nodded seriously.

Su Luo slumped down on the ground, holding her head and wailing. Why did she have such a miserable life?

"I have good news for you." Nangong Liuyun couldn't bear to see her like this, so he leaned closer to her face with a smile that was evil and mysterious.

"Speak." Su Luo said decisively.

"Your talent is truly formidable. Did you see the light that just appeared around you? Do you remember what color it was?"

"Green with orange?" Su Luo was a little uncertain.

Nangong Liuyun rubbed Su Luo's head like he was petting a puppy, with a hint of tenderness on the corner of his mouth that he himself hadn't even noticed: "Silly girl, don't you know that green represents the wood element, and orange represents the fire element?"

"You mean?"

"That's right, you possess dual elements, wood and fire." Nangong Liuyun's eyes revealed a hint of envy, "It's really enviable, wood and fire."

"What are you envious of?" Su Luo asked in confusion. She had heard from Luoluo that the legendary Prince Jin was a practitioner of three elements. How could he envy her who practiced only two elements?

"You're such a naive girl." Nangong Liuyun helped her up and sat her on the soft couch beside him, explaining, "If it were any other element, dual elements would be fine, but when both wood and fire appear in one person, do you know what that means?"

"What?" Su Luo's expression was stunned. She really knew very little about this world where martial arts was respected.

"The simultaneous appearance of the wood and fire elements represents the appearance of the alchemist. Girl, do you know the alchemist?" The confused little girl is so cute, secretly touching her pink little face.

Su Luo glared at him and said calmly, "Please explain."

Nangong Liuyun laughed heartily. "People with elemental talents are rare to begin with, and alchemists require the demanding conditions of being proficient in both the fire and wood elements. Therefore, alchemists have always been extremely rare on the continent and held a very high status. Take you for example. If your old man knew of your talent, he would definitely support you. Others would not dare to bully you, let alone say a word to you."

"Are alchemists so useful?" Su Luo raised her little face and asked carefully.

"Of course. Have you heard of limit-breaking pills? Just one pill can allow those trapped at their limits to break free. With that, you still think alchemists are unimportant?" Nangong Liuyun rubbed her head. "Now you understand how incredible your talent is, right? Do you feel better now?"

"But..." Su Luo looked at her hands, then at the clear and transparent crystal prism. Her spiritual power was very strange.

"Wait for me for three days." Nangong Liuyun's face was unusually serious, his eyes gleaming like obsidian. "I'll tell you the answer in three days."

It seems necessary to go to Luoxia Peak. A complex light flashed in Nangong Liuyun's eyes...
