Chapter 17 Mr. Li, please stand up.

Chapter 17 Mr. Li, please stand up.

The moment Bo Wei opened the door, she almost thought time had reversed, and stood frozen at the doorway.

Only when Li He looked at her did she seem relieved, "Mr. Li, you haven't left work yet?"

"Hmm." He casually circled the mistakes in the document, tossed it aside, and picked up a different document.

"I'm here to get my clothes. Take them and go."

"Um."

Bo Wei quickly came in, walked briskly to the lounge area, picked up her bag, and left.

I could clearly hear a suppressed gasp behind me, a sound clearly coming from someone who was unwell.

Bo Wei stopped and turned around, seeing President Li with one hand on his stomach, which he quickly withdrew.

"Mr. Li, are you feeling unwell?"

"My stomach problem flared up again." He feigned composure, still looking at the documents.

"Stomach problems? Don't you have a nutritionist? How come you still get stomach problems so easily?"

Li He didn't reply to her.

"Do you have any medicine? Shall I get you a glass of water?" Bo Wei subconsciously approached slowly.

"The medicine is upstairs."

Upstairs? Dou Ning said the upstairs is his private area.

"Can you still manage to go upstairs and take your medicine yourself?" She felt like she had so many questions. Would President Li be impatient to answer them?

Li He didn't reply to her, his face tense. He glanced at her, as if making up his mind, before asking, "Can you cook?"

Bo Wei nodded, "Yes."

After answering, she wondered why President Li had suddenly asked this question, and regretted admitting it a little. Did he want her to cook for him?

"Then come with me." He got up and walked towards the inner office room.

Bo Wei stood there, stunned. Where to go with him?

Li He didn't hear any footsteps and turned to look at her.

Bo Wei was a little reluctant to go; she already felt very awkward being alone with him.

Where to go now? To cook? There are no cooking utensils here. Upstairs?

"Mr. Li, where are we going?" The way he asked the question clearly carried a sense of refusal.

In Li He's eyes, there was three parts silence, three parts indifference, and four parts realization.

"Never mind, you can go back now." He said, and walked inside on his own.

A good-looking person always evokes a lot of pity.

Do all domineering CEOs suffer from stomach problems?

Does everyone in Naha have a broken family? Is that why they don't go home after work, preferring to sit in the office pretending to be busy?

Bo Wei looked at his retreating figure and felt so sorry for him.

Judging from the past two days, President Li not only doesn't get close to women, but he also has a very gentlemanly demeanor.

"Tsk."

Disturbed and conflicted, she followed him, as if to make up for the guilt she felt towards President Li.

Li He glanced to the right, a slight smile playing on his lips.

Without reservation, he opened up the secret space of the office to her.

With a "whoosh," the one-piece wall suddenly split apart.

Bo Wei's eyes widened, and she subconsciously raised her hand to cover them.

Oh no, am I about to see something I shouldn't have?

Li He turned around and saw that she was covering her eyes. He immediately felt that this was very different from her usual self, which was quite interesting.

"Since you've already seen it..."

Bo Wei lowered her hand. Had she really been tricked?

Having seen the evidence of his crimes, in order to avoid being silenced by him, I had no choice but to go along with him.

But I didn't feel nervous at all, nor did I feel uneasy about the impending danger. I couldn't muster any sense of tension.

At most, I only felt uncomfortable being alone with Li He, oh, and a little childish.

Li He turned and went inside. "Then come in."

Bo Wei followed.

The interior was completely different from what I had imagined; there was only a staircase with artwork hanging on it.

As Bo Wei climbed the stairs, she was filled with awe.

Above, there is a huge, single-level floor.

The space is ingeniously divided and naturally transparent, while the decoration is elegant, luxurious and grand.

Gym, swimming pool, running track, balcony...

"The kitchen is over there." Li He led her to the living room and then headed towards the bedroom.

Bo Wei looked around and suppressed her amazement.

He strode into the kitchen and started rummaging through the refrigerator.

The refrigerator is large; when you open it, you see a complex array of compartments.

She took them out one by one and found that the contents were plentiful and all the dates were very fresh.

But it seems that once it was filled up, no one has ever opened it.

She had a stomachache and had no idea what she could eat or what he wanted to eat.

Fortunately, Li He came out from inside.

"Mr. Li, what would you like to eat? We have everything in the refrigerator."

Keep it simple, nothing too complicated.

"Then, shall we just cook some noodles?"

Li He paused for a moment, looked at her, and said, "I don't like noodles."

"Then, shall we cook porridge?"

"I don't like drinking porridge either."

Just like a picky eater.

"Let's eat then. I'll just cook a couple of simple dishes, you can make do with that?"

"Can."

Upon receiving this message, Bo Wei immediately got to work.

Not relying on Li He, the kitchen was brand new and had never been used, so she had to search around to find the apron herself.

Li He sat on the sofa, facing this direction. In the open kitchen, he could see her busy figure from behind.

She pulled out a hair tie from somewhere and tied her hair into a low ponytail.

Her back view was extremely beautiful and pleasing to the eye.

The apron straps were tied into a bow on her slender waist.

She was wearing a pair of thin black high heels.

What a delightful and charming scene!

His gaze swept up and down, and he felt hot again.

Bo Wei finally found rice, washed it, and cooked it.

Turning around, Li He was nowhere to be seen.

Ignoring him, Bo Wei took out her phone and searched for what dishes people with stomach problems should eat, then started rummaging through the refrigerator to prepare food.

When Li He reappeared, he was carrying a pair of slippers. He walked into the kitchen, bent down, and placed the slippers at her feet.

"It'll be more comfortable if you put this on."

Bo Wei was still holding the groceries when she heard his voice so close to her ear, and she was startled.

Turning to the side, I realized he was squatting at my feet, looking up at me.

Her heart skipped a beat, and she took an awkward step back. "Mr. Li, please stand up."

Li He slowly stood up, his height instantly surpassing hers.

"Change your shoes." Seeing the startled look on her face, he softened his voice.

Bo Wei then looked at the slippers on the ground, a pair of men's slippers.

"We don't have any women's shoes at home, so you'll have to make do with these."

Bo Wei's toes curled up involuntarily. His?

"I'm fine like this, it's quite convenient for me to work. Mr. Li, your shoes wouldn't be comfortable for me to wear."

After he finished speaking, President Li remained silent.

Bo Wei immediately took off her shoes and put them on slippers.

Yes, what if he wears high heels and walks around here, scratching the floor? Besides, the sound of high heels is quite disturbing to his rest.

"Then I'll wear it and take it with me to throw it away when I go downstairs?" After all, you have to throw away clothes that other people have touched, let alone shoes that other people have worn.

After she finished changing the dishes, she turned around, put them down, and rinsed her hands.

Li He's gaze shifted to her feet; her snow-white feet slipped into slippers that were far too big for her.

His Adam's apple bobbed as he looked away, glancing to the side and hooking a pair of black high heels between two fingers.

Bo Wei wiped the water off her apron, turned around to get her shoes, but they were gone.

She hurriedly looked at President Li, only to see him already casually picking up his shoes and leaving.
