"Brother Zhou, you're awake? Would you like some water? Or would you like to eat first?"
As soon as Zhou Zhenxing opened his eyes, he heard concerned inquiries from the person next to him.
His gaze shifted blankly, and he saw Zhuo Lanyu, who looked haggard.

Zhou Zhenxing looked at her red eyes and knew she must have been crying, so his expression softened.
"I'm really not hungry. I promise you, I'll eat later."
Zhuo Lanyu finally stopped insisting after hearing him say that.
After a brief silence, Zhuo Lanyu carefully took his hand, as if she had mustered all her courage, and asked, "Brother Zhou, let's get married?"
She had already thought about it; the reason he had become like this was because of the double blow from the company and his family.
His parents have both passed away, leaving him without family and motivation. But once they get married, she will be his family, and he will pull himself together again.
Zhou Zhenxing was neither happy nor surprised as she had imagined; instead, he stared at her blankly, motionless.
"Brother Zhou, let me be your wife, your family. I will always be by your side!" Zhuo Lanyu declared firmly.
A temporary setback is nothing; she believes he will make a comeback sooner or later.
After a full ten seconds, Zhou Zhenxing finally spoke, his voice desolate, "Thank you for still sticking with me even now."
Zhuo Lanyu held his hand tighter and tighter, feeling that this would give him strength.
True love can overcome all obstacles.
“But I’m not worth it, so let’s break up.” Zhou Zhenxing said this in a very calm tone.
Zhuo Lanyu, who was still immersed in self-pity a moment ago, suddenly widened her eyes and looked at him in disbelief.
