Chapter 57 The Chase
Those were three faces that Su Jin recognized very well, faces that made her want to laugh and cry at the same time.
For a split second, her feet had already taken a step. But reason quickly prevailed, forcing her to look away, not daring to linger, and she picked up her luggage and turned to leave.
"There are too many people here, let's split up and search!" Guan An said to Qian Wei and Wu Mang, looking at the crowded people.
The three of them quickly ran in three different directions.
Su Jin pulled her dog-skin hat down low and was about to reach the entrance leading to the bus station when she saw Wu Mang, who was only a few meters away, looking around anxiously.
She immediately abandoned that direction and turned in the opposite direction.
Just then, someone carelessly bumped into her.
And the blow wasn't light, which made her frown.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. Comrade, are you alright?"
The person who hit her quickly apologized and inquired about Su Jin's condition.
Su Jin quickly waved her hand, "It's nothing."
She just wanted to get away from there as quickly as possible, but the person who hit her kept asking, "Are you really okay? Move around a bit and see if you've broken any bones."
Su Jin felt anxious and subconsciously looked in the direction where Wu Mang was.
At that moment, Wu Mang also heard the commotion and looked over in her direction.
"Sister Jin!"
The next second, an excited shout rang out, so loud that it startled many people around.
Su Jin's lips twitched, she pretended to be deaf, and ran away.
Wu Mang was in hot pursuit.
"Sister Jin, it's me, Er Mang! Wait for me!"
It would have been better if he hadn't called out; the more he called, the faster Su Jin ran.
The commotion here was so great that it quickly alerted Guan An and Qian Wei in the other two directions.
The two looked in the direction of Wu Mang's voice and immediately spotted Su Jin.
They were like they were on steroids, weaving and chasing through the crowd.
"Sister Jin, stop! It's us! Fatty, Er Mang, and Dan Dan!"
Qian Wei's voice was even louder than Wu Mang's.
When Guan An heard the term "egg," he wanted nothing more than to tear that lousy mouth of his.
But Su Jin showed no sign of stopping.
Of the three, Guan An was the most astute, and he quickly realized this.
"Stop shouting, the more you shout, the faster Sister Jin will run."
Qian Wei and Wu Mang, who had already joined up with him, were both completely bewildered.
They simply couldn't understand why Su Jin would do this.
The station was too crowded, making escape difficult, and the distance between Su Jin and the three of them was rapidly decreasing.
When she finally reached the main road, they were only a few steps apart.
With unsteady breath and agitation, Guan An shouted at her retreating figure, "We're not chasing you anymore, so don't run away either, okay?"
Su Jin didn't even turn her head, heading straight for the traffic on the road.
The three men were startled by her dangerous move. By the time they realized what was happening, Su Jin was already on the other side.
"What are you all standing there for? Hurry up and chase after them!" Guan An's face was dark, and then he added, "Get in the car and chase them!"
No one knew Su Jin's prowess better than them; trying to keep up with her speed on foot was simply too difficult.
Fortunately, their car was parked on the side of the road, and it came in handy now.
However, Su Jin was no pushover either. Seeing them get into the car, she decided to escape via an alley a few hundred meters away.
Once you're inside the alley, shaking them off won't be difficult.
