Chapter 331 Parting Ways
"Qian Wei, have you no shame? If you want to die, don't drag us down with you!"
Having just survived a great escape, Liu Jianlin could no longer suppress his anger and, panting, began to curse at Qian Wei.
They had already shaken off their pursuers, but Qian Wei insisted on stopping to rest.
It's one thing to rest, but to start a fire without their permission is another.
Such an idiotic act would have earned him a fatal shot on the battlefield!
Qian Wei was covered in sweat and almost couldn't breathe, but he still retorted defiantly in the face of Liu Jianlin's curses.
"It's so cold outside, all I want to do is start a fire to warm myself up."
"Are you an idiot? Are you going to light a fire at night to tell those pursuers our location? Or do you want to burn down the entire forest and make everyone pay for your stupidity?!" Liu Jianlin glared angrily.
The others looked at Qian Wei with nothing but hatred.
Qian Wei's face almost fell to the ground. He hadn't thought that much about it, and besides, he had been very careful; there was no way he could let the fire start.
"Liu Jianlin, I won't stoop to your level. You can say a few curses and that's it. But if you keep going on like this, don't blame me for being impolite!"
His patience has its limits; if he weren't now in the same team as them, he wouldn't have been able to bear it.
Liu Jianlin, his face contorted with resentment, gritted his teeth and demanded, "What do you want? A one-on-one fight?"
With that bastard around, they're bound to be killed by the pursuers and won't be able to complete this mission.
Qian Wei threw down his equipment bag and was really getting ready to fight.
"One-on-one it is!"
"Isn't this chaos enough for you all?" Li Kai, whose face had been gloomy, finally spoke, suppressing his voice.
As the absolute core of this team, no one dared to question his words.
Liu Jianlin, who was eager to try just a second ago, glared at Qian Wei and took a few steps back.
Hu Li said, "Li Kai, it's no wonder Liu Jianlin is angry; Qian Wei has really gone too far!"
The others nodded in agreement, clearly indicating that Qian Wei had incurred the wrath of the crowd.
Li Kai already disliked Qian Wei, and now his gaze towards Qian Wei was even colder and more chilling.
"Qian Wei, if you want to stay with us, you have to follow our orders."
Before he could finish speaking, Liu Jianlin said with absolute certainty and anger, "Li Kai, do you believe it or not, he will absolutely drag our whole team down!"
Li Kai frowned deeply. Although it was the truth, they were now in the same group as Qian Wei, and there was nothing they could do but accept their bad luck.
Qian Wei snorted and retorted defiantly, "It's not like you could have completed the mission without me."
"Yes, we can definitely finish without you!" Liu Jianlin roared.
"Qian Wei, you really shouldn't go too far. The fact that we've allowed you to come along is already the most we can tolerate!"
"If it weren't for you, how could we have escaped in such a sorry state?"
The group chatted amongst themselves, their words filled with curses and disdain for Qian Wei.
Qian Wei's face was extremely pale; his patience had reached its limit in the face of those disgusted expressions.
"Since you all look down on me so much, I'm not playing with you anymore! From now on, we're going our separate ways!"
He shouted those words at the top of his lungs in a fit of rage, and a brief silence finally fell over the surroundings.
