Chapter 117 Xiao Yunfeng is not as terrifying as you think
Qian Wei glared fiercely at Guan An, "Pah! Pah! Pah! Shut your stinking mouth right now!"
Guan An kept laughing.
Wang Liang had already regained his composure, so he wasn't surprised to see the three of them there.
These three boys were notorious troublemakers in the compound, and everyone knew that Su Jin had a good relationship with them.
The four of them were together at the train station before.
It's strange that she has amnesia, yet she remembers only them.
At this moment, Su Jin had already sat down in front of the stove, leisurely warming herself by the fire.
Although the house was old and dilapidated, it was still fully equipped with tables, chairs, and benches, and there was even a single bed in the corner, which meant that someone often came here.
Wang Liang subtly withdrew his gaze from the scrutinizing area.
After Guan An and Qian Wei had finished arguing, they both looked at Wang Liang.
"Sister Jin, why did you bring him along?"
As Xiao Yunfeng's bodyguards, they naturally knew each other.
With him standing there, how can they even speak?
Su Jin: "Don't be rude, greet them."
After she spoke, Guan An, Qian Wei, and Wu Mang all behaved themselves considerably, calling out to Wang Liang in unison, "Brother Wang."
To be honest, Wang Liang was somewhat surprised.
Over the years, he had heard a lot about the trouble the three of them had caused in the compound, and how they could even ignore the discipline from their families. But they were so obedient to Su Jin, which was something he hadn't expected.
Su Jin said with a smile, "Brother Wang, there's no danger here. Why don't you go back first? I promise I won't leave the family compound."
His attitude was extremely sincere.
Wang Liang understood what she meant, of course. "I'll wait outside, you can chat slowly."
After saying that, he walked out.
Guan An, however, understood. He moved closer to Su Jin and lowered his voice slightly, "Sister Jin, Commander Xiao ordered him to monitor you?"
Su Jin corrected, "It's protection."
"What protection? It's clearly surveillance! Has Commander Xiao done anything to you?"
Upon hearing Guan An's words, Qian Wei and Wu Mang also began to scrutinize her nervously, as if they wanted to count how many strands of hair she had lost.
Su Jin was both amused and exasperated. "I'm perfectly fine."
Qian Wei pressed further, "Did he hit you?"
Su Jin still felt it necessary to explain, "Brigade Commander Xiao is not as terrifying as you think."
Knowing they were concerned about her, she added earnestly, "He didn't hit me or scold me; he just told me to stay home and rest these past few days."
The three of them stared at each other in disbelief, but judging from her current state, she certainly didn't seem to have been wronged.
"Are you really alright?"
Su Jin nodded again, "Really."
"Phew!" Guan An let out a long breath and relaxed completely. "These past few days have really worried me, Fatty, and Er Mang. We were really afraid that Commander Xiao would lash out at you in a fit of anger."
After all, she left quietly for so many years; anyone would be angry in her place.
Su Jin was also quite surprised that Xiao Yunfeng forgave her so easily.
"Sister Jin, so now that Commander Xiao isn't pursuing the matter and things have returned to normal?" Qian Wei asked anxiously.
Su Jin hummed in agreement. Apart from Wang Liang being there beside her, everything else seemed normal.
"Can we still go south?" This was Qian Wei's biggest concern. "If we don't leave soon, I might really be sent to the army."
He had nightmares all night long, filled with images of the hardships he endured during his military training. When he woke up, his pillow was covered in tears of fear.
