Chapter 767 Transfer

Chapter 767 Transfer

Su Jin slumped into a chair.

All of this happened so suddenly that she couldn't face it rationally.

Guan An and Wu Ma left the room quietly at some point.

Give her quiet space and time.

As night fell, Wu Ma and Guan An brought the food back in.

Seeing that Su Jin was still sitting in the same position as before, Wu Ma felt extremely distressed.

"Xiao Jin, would you like to eat something?"

Su Jin remained motionless.

Aunt Wu's voice choked again, "Aunt Wu knows you're sad, but your health is the most important thing. You must take good care of yourself so you'll have a chance to see Commander Xiao again and get the answers you need!"

Her words of advice seemed to touch Su Jin, whose eyes flickered for a moment before she looked at them.

"What more can we ask to clarify? It's already a fact."

Her voice was terribly hoarse.

Aunt Wu pressed on, "What facts? Aunt Wu doesn't understand. What mistake did Commander Xiao, such a good person, make?"

Guan An simply sighed and remained silent.

How could Su Jin possibly say that Xiao Yunfeng was the real murderer of her father?

"He probably won't be coming back, so we should make plans as soon as possible."

As she spoke, she looked around the home she had lived in for over a decade.

This was the housing assigned to Xiao Yunfeng by the organization. Now that Xiao Yunfeng has run away, she is no longer qualified to live here given her current status.

She usually stays in the military, so it doesn't matter if the house is taken back, but it's different for Wu Ma.

Wu Ma had long been used to everything here and regarded this place as her home.

Although Aunt Wu had realized the seriousness of the situation, she still didn't expect it to have come to this. "Should we move out?"

Su Jin nodded. "This house will probably be taken back. But don't worry, I'll arrange another place."

Fortunately, she now has the ability to take care of Aunt Wu.

"Sister Jin, don't be so pessimistic. Even though Commander Xiao is gone, this is still your home." Guan An could see how much she cared for this place.

He and Qian Wei could plead with the leaders to let them continue living there.

Su Jin shook her head, already determined to obey the rules.

Aunt Wu stood there stunned for several seconds before turning around and walking out.

Su Jin didn't know what she was going to do, but she really didn't have much energy left to comfort others.

"Sister Jin, why don't you eat something first?" Guan An suggested.

Su Jin simply said, "I'm not hungry."

Guan An wanted to continue persuading her, but Wu Ma returned carrying a box.

"Xiao Jin, I didn't dare tell the people who came this morning about this."

She spoke nervously, knowing the relationship between Guan An and Su Jin, so she didn't treat him like an outsider.

I carefully opened the box.

Su Jin was stunned when she saw what was in the box.

"These are..."

"Yes. I had already gone to bed last night when Brigade Commander Xiao suddenly woke me up and gave me this box. He told me to keep it for him and then to give it to you."

After Wu Ma finished speaking, she placed the box in Su Jin's hands.

Su Jin looked at the valuables in the box, among which was a watch that Xiao Yunfeng often wore.

This watch was bought by Xiao Yunfeng with almost half a year's allowance; it was his favorite accessory.

Besides these, there is also a savings book inside.

When Guan An saw the densely packed numbers on the passbook, he was completely stunned.
