Chapter 25

Chapter 25

Jin Chaochao ordered people to carry the box to the street outside.

She took the box of bronze dagger and went to the warehouse area.

With just a pinch of the hand, the box of the bronze dagger entered her handbag and was stored in the space talisman paper.

When she came out again, she had nothing in her hands.

The foreman has been paying attention to Jin Chaochao's actions.

There are laws that stipulate that all antiques belong to the state and cannot be possessed by private individuals.

It is obvious that Jin Chaochao violated the law by taking the ancient bronze sword.

Jin Chaochao originally wanted to wait until the ancient bronze sword was dealt with before calling the experts from the Antiques Association to take the item away.

After all, her ancestral home has as many of these things as she wants.

No matter how rare something is, it is just a decoration to her. If she hands it over to a museum, it can still realize its value.

But she didn't expect the police to arrive so quickly.

As soon as she came out of the shop which was in a mess and had been dug up, the police rushed in, set up a cordon, and confiscated all the boxes and antiques.

She was also guarded by two people.

"Miss, we are working, please cooperate." A young policeman said with a smile.

Jin Chaochao looked at the workers present. They were all gathered together and chatting animatedly.

It must have been when she opened the box that someone called the police.

Soon, the museum's top executives and bigwigs in the antique world all arrived.

Everyone wore gloves and carefully took out the calligraphy and paintings, and porcelain bottles from the boxes and looked at them carefully.

There was shock and surprise on their faces.

"Oh my god, this is Wang Hui's work, and it is so well preserved."

"This is a blue and white porcelain from the imperial kiln during the reign of Emperor Kangxi. It is absolutely beautiful, without a single flaw. It is a historical treasure."

"This jade bracelet is transparent and has plenty of water. It has been buried underground for so many years, but it is still flawless."

Jin Chaochao stood aside and felt a little tired.

Tired of heart!

Just at this moment, a fat policeman wearing a hat found Jin Chaochao.

He first looked her up and down, then said in a fairly polite tone, "Miss Jin, I heard that you just bought this shop, and today you asked someone to dig up antiques under the shop. Did you know that there were antiques here?"

Jin Chaochao was speechless for a long time after being asked this question.

She looked at the police and said faintly, "You guessed right, but not entirely."

The police didn't expect her to answer so frankly. After all, it was a bit far-fetched that she knew in advance that there were antiques under the store.

The busy streets went unnoticed for years, even decades.

She knew there was treasure as soon as she arrived here.

Does she have a treasure map?

"Miss Jin, please tell me the truth. And..." Zhu Zhicheng, the captain of the seventh team, raised his eyebrows and his tone suddenly turned cold, "I heard that you have hidden another thing?"

Jin Chaochao knew this would happen.

"In order not to cause trouble, I did hide one." Jin Chaochao admitted truthfully, and with so many people watching, she had no choice but to admit it.

Zhu Zhicheng smiled and said like an old fox: "Take it out. You should know that it is illegal to privately store cultural relics."

Jin Chaochao hesitated for a moment, "This thing is quite special, I'm afraid you can't handle it?"

Zhu Zhicheng frowned, "What do you mean?"

Jin Chaochao spoke truthfully, "It was originally buried underground, and its energy was blocked. Now that it has been dug out, I must be responsible for it. If you want it, it's not impossible, but I will not be responsible if someone dies."

She doesn't like to make unnecessary explanations and struggles.

After all, there are laws. If they don't listen to advice, the bronze dagger must be taken away.

She had no choice but to hand it in.

As the saying goes, everything is determined by fate, and cause and effect are all determined by your own choices.

Some people are destined to learn lessons, so she doesn't need to make things difficult for herself.

Zhu Zhicheng obviously didn't believe Jin Chaochao's words.

"Take out the things, or I'll have to take you back for tea!"

He has a tough attitude.

Jin Chaochao stood there without moving. After a while, another old man came over.

Zhu Zhicheng conveyed Jin Chaochao's words to him.

He hesitated for a moment and said to Jin Chaochao, "Little girl, no matter whether this thing is special or not, you can't keep it. We are professional staff, even if it is cursed, we have people who can handle it."

Jin Chaochao looked at the old man. He had a white beard and was wearing a simple cloth shirt. He was very low-key.

This person is none other than Zhou Jinxiong, the director of the National Museum, who is 62 years old.

The two looked at each other, and there seemed to be a brief confrontation.

Zhou Jinxiong didn't expect that although Jin Chaochao looked young, she had such a powerful aura that was not inferior to anyone else.

The look in her eyes was clear and sharp, a rare sight for a young person.

He persuaded again: "We don't want to embarrass a little girl like you. If we force you, you will be held legally responsible."

Jin Chaochao smiled, not showing any weakness, "Since you don't trust me, it's not impossible for me to hand over the things."

She waved the fan in her hand, curled up the corners of her mouth, and smiled meaningfully, "Sign a document, the content of the document is very simple. This item carries fate, you take it away, if anything happens, don't trouble me."

She looked at Zhu Zhicheng, "You two must sign in person, and it will have legal effect."

Zhou Jinxiong and Zhu Zhicheng didn't expect Jin Chaochao to easily agree to hand over the things, and they looked at each other.

They would not care about what Jin Chaochao said.

Because everything in a museum has some history, it is not uncommon for it to have a connection with something.

"Hand over your things and we will sign the agreement you want." Zhou Jinxiong agreed immediately.

Jin Chaochao was also straightforward. She returned to the warehouse, found a table, wrote down the agreement, and gave it to Zhou Jinxiong and Zhu Zhicheng.

In order to get the bronze dagger, the two signed their names.

Jin Chaochao handed the rosewood box containing the dagger to Zhou Jinxiong and said, "Put it in a quiet place. This thing carries murderous aura, so don't let anyone get close to it easily."

Seeing her serious face, Zhou Jinxiong couldn't help but look at her again, "Do you still understand these things?"

Jin Chaochao nodded, "I know a little bit about Xuanmen magic."

Zhou Jinxiong sneered, his eyes showing disdain without disguising it, "You know a thing or two? You have good taste. This bronze dagger is extremely valuable."

After saying this, he took his things and left.

This matter lasted for the whole afternoon.

The shop was dug up all over, and the police left only after they had confirmed again and again that there was no treasure under the shop.

The people on the construction team didn't know why, but they all ran away.

As night fell, Jin Chaochao stood at the empty door of the shop and rubbed his eyebrows.

Her divination is no longer accurate.

It seems that she can no longer tell fortunes for herself from now on.

There are indeed treasures under the store, and they are priceless treasures.

As for this bronze dagger, I don’t know whether it is a blessing or a curse.

The sword spirit also has its own temper. The ancient sword that has fought on the battlefield has a murderous aura.

However, she felt relieved when she thought about taking the bronze dagger away from the National Museum.

Hopefully, nothing will happen.
