Chapter 44: Catching an Adulterer (Gal. 2)
Today, Jing Qian is wearing an ankle-length plaid-edged long coat. The coat is a loose Korean style and the color is dark khaki. Although the three-quarter sleeves reveal her snow-white arms, highlighting a bit of playfulness, it is still difficult for ordinary young girls to control such colors and styles.
However, Jing Qian today seemed like God's favorite. She could wear such a dress that was very picky about people, temperament and skin tone to perfection, which was a real eye-opener.
"What are you doing?" Qin Yi, who was in astonishment, suddenly shouted.
Just when Qin Yi was amazed by Jing Qian's temperament and dress today, Jing Qian walked up to him, walked around him, and strode directly towards the bedroom.
Qin Yi was shocked. He only came to his senses and screamed after Jing Qian had walked one meter away.
Because the original owner remembered Qin Yi very clearly, it was easy for him to find his bedroom.
Jing Qian ignored Qin Yi's shout and walked straight ahead. Even though her heart was disturbed by the original owner's emotions and she was extremely reluctant to do what she was about to do, she still walked to the door without hesitation.
Qin Yi was so scared that his heart was about to jump out of his chest. He changed his lazy and unrestrained look, rushed forward in three or two steps, and grabbed Jing Qian's wrist.
"What are you doing?" Qin Yi's voice was very loud. "You came to my house without saying hello to my mom or talking to me, and you just barged into my bedroom. What's wrong with you?"
"Catching an adulterer."
Facing Qin Yi's anger, Jing Qian remained calm and composed, and answered honestly and generously.
"Are you sick?!" Qin Yi felt sick after hearing Jing Qian's words.
"As your girlfriend, I suspect that you have other women behind my back, so I came to catch you cheating. Why do you think this is sick?" Jing Qian asked back with confidence.
Qin Yi was practically irritated by Jing Qian's calm, self-assured tone. He angrily shouted, "Jing Qian, people need basic trust. This is especially true between lovers and couples. Let alone us not being married, even if we were, it would be wrong for you to do this."
Jing Qian scoffed, "Do you have some deep-seated misunderstanding of the term 'basic trust'? People are different. There are so many cheating men in the world, do you think they're all trustworthy? My feelings for you haven't reached the level of trust yet, so I'm here to catch you cheating. Any questions?"
…!!!
Qin Yi was completely speechless after hearing Jing Qian's words. Jing Qian took advantage of Qin Yi's silence and pressed the doorknob down while he was lost in thought.
Qin Yi was so frightened when he saw this that his face changed. He raised his hand to stop it but it was obviously too late.
But fortunately, the door was locked from the inside.
Qin Yi and his mother, who had caught up with him, finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Qin's mother was so enraged that she rushed to Jing Qian and yelled, "You've gone completely out of control! Do you even have any manners? You came to my house so early in the morning, barging in without my permission. You didn't even bother to greet the elders, and you even called me worse than a dog! And now you're even checking my son's bedroom!!! If you don't trust him so much, why are you still dating him?"
