Chapter 2: Strange Man

Now is not the time to act rashly. Feng Yuheng never takes things lightly. She has just arrived at this place and knows nothing except the memories of the original owner. In addition, with her small body of 12 years old, thin arms and legs, she is not stupid enough to fight with two well-prepared adults.

Just as he hid, he saw the couple holding torches and sneaking into the burial pit. Feng Yuheng stared at them for a while and confirmed their identities. They were Wang Shugen and his mother-in-law Xu.

After the two searched everywhere but found nothing, Xu became anxious: "That's not right! It was clearly thrown here, where is the person?"

Wang Shugen stamped his feet and said, "Did he run away?"

"Impossible! The amount of medicine is enough for her to sleep for two days and two nights. How could she wake up that night?"

Wang Shugen was furious: "Then where did you say the person went?"

Xu was also getting anxious: "What's the point of yelling at me! After she was knocked unconscious, we both drugged her together. You saw it with your own eyes. Why are you just slacking off on me?"

Wang Shugen had nothing to say. He lowered his head sullenly and continued to search for the body. Xu also followed him and continued to look for it.

Feng Yuheng contacted the original owner's memory and finally figured out what was going on.

Could it be that this couple had knocked the original owner unconscious and drugged him, then left him in this mass grave, and dug him out in the dead of night and took him to the provincial capital to sell him for money?

Feng Yuheng subconsciously touched his cheek. So, the original owner was pretty good-looking?

Reaching out his hand and grabbing a handful of gravel on the ground, Feng Yuheng raised the corners of his lips and put on an evil smile. Suddenly, he flicked his finger and a stone flew towards Xu's head.

Then the woman screamed, "Ah!" and then she asked, "Who? Who hit me?"

Wang Shugen stopped and looked back at her: "Where is that person?"

"Yes! Someone just hit me on the head."

As he was speaking, another stone flew over, this time aiming at the center of Wang Shugen's eyebrows.

"Ah!" The man also screamed, but before he could finish, pain came from all over his body one after another.

The two men were so frightened that the torches in their hands fell to the ground, igniting the corpse, which soon burned.

"Let's go!" Finally, Wang Shugen still had some rationality. He grabbed Xu, who was slumped on the ground, and climbed out of the pit.

Unfortunately, after finally climbing up, she suddenly felt a pain in her leg and fell down again. Xu's fat body rolled in the pit like a ball, and the flames soon burned her clothes.

Wang Shugen was not much better off. His clothes were burnt to pieces, his legs were bleeding, and a large piece of flesh was burned off his left face.

Feng Yuheng threw out the last stone, patted the dust off his hands, and no longer paid attention to the two people who were struggling to climb out of the pit.

It’s better not to cause any death on your first day here, as it’s unlucky.

Seeing the two running away, the fire in the mass grave was still burning. Feng Yuheng clasped his hands together and bowed to the place, "Dust to dust, ashes to ashes, burning is better than throwing the bodies in the wilderness."

"Hmph." Suddenly, a light snort came from not far behind her, and Feng Yuheng was so frightened that her hair stood on end. It wasn't that she was scared, but she was surprised that the mantis was catching the cicada and the oriole was behind it, and she didn't even notice it.

Think of her as a 21st century master of both Chinese and Western medicine. She followed her grandfather in the military camp at the age of 12 and trained with the troops. She never backed down in the wind and rain. She had developed a perception several times sharper than that of ordinary people, and she also had a lot of hard skills. She was on the operating table at the age of 18, and was already a senior medical officer in the Marine Corps at the age of 25. If she hadn't died at the age of 28... her achievements would have been even greater.

Not wanting to think about the past, Feng Yuheng turned around and looked in the direction where the voice came from.

A man, or maybe a young man, about 20 years old, wearing a dark purple brocade robe, with long hair tied up, a face as sharp as a knife, and a pair of eyes that shot cold stars, as sharp as a hunting eagle. A purple lotus pattern the size of a small fingernail between his eyebrows made this already handsome face look even more weird.
