Feng Yuheng frowned and sniffed twice, a bloody smell filled the air. She subconsciously looked down and saw the man sitting on a straw mat with his legs stretched out, his knees stained with blood.
"Who are you?" She asked cautiously. Judging from the current situation, this man did not pose a threat to her. She was a doctor, and she knew that the injuries to his legs were serious without a close look. At least for now, it was impossible for him to stand up.
Hearing her question, the man snorted again, but did not answer. However, when he snorted, the corners of his lips slightly raised made his face more charming.
Feng Yuheng shuddered out of thin air. This man was born with both nobility and charm. Even though his face was pale, sweat was dripping on his forehead, and his legs were in such a mess, it did not affect his aura at all. He was simply a disaster for the country and the people!
"Get out when you've seen enough." The man leaned against the rock wall and spoke coldly. He didn't ignore the way the wild girl swallowed her saliva with a crazy look on her face.
Feng Yuheng was annoyed by people who talked like that. Why should he just let her go?
He simply walked two steps further inside and found a haystack to sit down. "Did you dig the mountain? Did you dig the crack? I won't leave. What can you do to me?"
After she finished speaking, she seemed to have thought of something, and she looked outside and suddenly laughed out loud: "Hey! Now it's not just me who has to leave, you have to leave too!" She pointed at the fire burning in the mass grave, "At this rate, this place will soon be burned down."
That person also turned his head, and when he took a look, his face turned pale again, his brows were twisted into a knot, and the purple lotus was gathered tightly, which made people feel uneasy.
"Forget it." Feng Yuheng felt that she had no resistance to a man who looked like this. She stood up and walked to the man, "I'll give you a hand, can you walk?"
The man looked her up and down. The girl was no more than ten years old, and her body was so thin that it would almost break if bent. Although she had thrown the stone beautifully just now, it was just a trick. It would still be difficult for her to support his weight.
"Speak now!" Feng Yuheng fanned her nose with her hand. "The fire isn't very big, but don't you think the smell is getting stronger? This mountain crack faces the wind. We are smelling the smell of roasting corpses! Roasting human flesh! Roasting..."
"Stop talking." He couldn't bear to hear it any more. The more he talked, the more disgusting it became. "Try to pull the straw mat and see if you can pull me out."
"Is it that serious?" Feng Yuheng was stunned. It was a joke for her to be dragged by a straw mat with a grown man sitting on it. "Let me see." She reached out and touched his leg.
"Don't move." The man suddenly shouted angrily, and at the same time waved his hand violently, pushing her small body to the ground.
Feng Yuheng fell and felt so much pain that his eyes widened with anger, "Are you sick?"
"Are you sitting here if you are not sick?" The man answered as if it was a matter of course, "I didn't mean to push you, I just used too much force."
"Your kindness is taken for granted." Feng Yuheng decided to ignore him. "If you don't want to leave, just keep smelling the barbecue here. I won't keep you company."
She turned to leave, and the person behind her growled in frustration and called her: "Wait a minute."
Finally, Feng Yuheng dragged the man out of the crevice, and she was almost exhausted. She didn't expect that the man's leg was so badly injured that he couldn't even use any strength. She half dragged and half hugged him, and sometimes he accidentally bumped into a rock, but he just groaned and didn't cry out in pain.
Gradually, she began to admire him and thought of her brothers in the army in her previous life, who were equally tough and iron-blooded. Even after half of their legs were blown off during a mission, they never cried out in pain.
"Go this way." The man pointed in a direction. "There's a stream not far away, but the wind is blowing in the opposite direction, so it can't blow over here."
"Okay." Feng Yuheng gritted his teeth and added more strength, "The straw mat is worn out, just bear with it for a while."
"It's okay." He answered calmly, as if the injury was not on him.
Feng Yuheng was a little annoyed, and said angrily: "If I throw you harder, you won't say it's okay."
"You are so cruel at such a young age." He looked back at the fire pit, "If you had more stones in your hand, I'm afraid those two would have been burned to death, right?"
"Bang!" She let go and threw the person to the ground.
