Hua Fushu was fast asleep on the couch, snoring softly. The gauze curtains were slowly lifted by a hand and secured with a copper hook. The tip of her nose felt faintly itchy. She pushed the hand away and rolled over. "Qiao'er, stop it."
Ye Zelin sat on the couch and chuckled. There were only the two of them in this room, so how could there be Sanqiao? Did she still think she was still unmarried?
"Fushu, Fushu, Fushu." Ye Zelin gently pushed Hua Fushu's shoulders and called her to wake up.
Hua Fushu frowned, very unhappy. He grabbed the restless hand on her shoulder, pulled and threw Ye Zelin onto the bed. She opened her eyes and was about to scold this ignorant girl, but she found that the person was actually Ye Zelin. "Why is it you?"
Ye Zelin moved the arm she had grabbed and pulled, "Sister Fushu, who else is there in this room except me?"
Hua Fushu immediately became alert.
Ye Zelin smiled helplessly. He had no feelings for her at all, so how could he do anything inappropriate to her?
Hua Fushu squinted his eyes and saw Ye Zelin hurriedly getting down from the couch and walking towards the door.
Hua Fushu put on her clothes and waited for Sanqiao to come and serve her before leaving the room. She saw Ye Zelin standing there, tall and graceful, aloof from the world. Before she could say anything, he said, "I heard that tomorrow is your sister's birthday."
Hua Fushu nodded, and Ye Zelin continued, "Although this is our first meeting, as her brother-in-law, I have to show some appreciation."
Hua Fushu said, "You really think of us as husband and wife, but I don't think of you as my husband."
Ye Zelin invited her to take him for a walk in the city, because he was not familiar with Su Nian.
Hua Fushu had no choice but to agree to her request because he was giving the gift to her sister.
