Yang Luyi had of course heard of this name. This young talent was the dream husband of countless girls.
The first time he led the troops to fight, he won three battles in a row, and defeated the Northern Liao so badly that they dared not invade the Song Dynasty.
Unexpectedly, he turned out to be Hua Fushu's husband.
Yang Luyi's face froze. She bowed to Ye Zelin and hurriedly left.
Hua Fushu stuck out her red tongue, waved her hand and watched Yang Luyi leave, "Miss Yang, take care. I won't see you off."
She invited Ye Zelin to the bench where she had just been sitting, and sat down on the other side. She poured a cup of tea for Ye Zelin and personally offered it to him, explaining, "I hate her the most. She always makes me upset every time I see her. It's a pity you cheered her up for me. You don't know how embarrassed Yang Jia Luyi was just now. I'm happier that she's not happy than eating a lotus cake."
Ye Zelin asked, "Does that girl from the Yang family often make you unhappy?"
Hua Fushu nodded and smiled again, "Thank you very much, but I haven't felt this happy in a long time."
Since her parents forced her to get married, today was her happiest day. She had forgotten that Ye Zelin had contributed to her marriage.
Ye Zelin took a sip of tea and said, "It's just a small favor, and you've protected me twice in front of my grandfather."
Hua Fushu said, "Helping you is just a side effect. The main reason is that I don't like your grandfather."
From time to time, the waiter brought the dishes that Hua Fushu had ordered. There were only one or two plates, and the rest were waiting to be served. The waiter said, "Miss Fushu, I just saw Miss Yang from afar, but she was angry with you."
Hua Fushu said, "That's right, I got mad and left." Suddenly realizing something was wrong, she changed her words, "No, it was my husband who scared her away."
The waiter looked at Ye Zelin and said with a smile, "So the friend Miss Fushu was talking about is Mr. Hua?"
He then asked, "When did Miss Fushu find her husband? I haven't heard a word yet."
Hua Fushu said, "I found it a few days ago. My parents are low-key and don't advocate a big wedding. They just gather a few tables with relatives and friends."
Just as the waiter was about to speak, Ye Zelin spoke first, "Young man, are you familiar with the young lady from the Yang family? What is she like?"
Hua Fushu glanced at Ye Zelin. How could such a noble and upright person like him be interested in gossip?
The waiter smiled and said, "Sir, you've asked the right person. In our Sunian City, there's a doggerel poem that talks about the girl from the Yang family."
"Doggerel?" Ye Zelin was quite interested. "I wonder if you could read it to me, little brother."
The waiter recited, "In the north of the city, there's the immortal Yang Jia, in the south, there's a flower. If you ask who stands out, it's Yang Jiashu."
Ye Zelin thought about Yang Luyi's beauty and said, "Her appearance is that of a fairy."
Who is the most beautiful girl in the south of the city?
Since she could compete with Yang Luyi, she must be pretty. He was quite interested and asked, "Who is that beautiful girl from the south of the city?"
The waiter looked at Hua Fushu and asked, "Isn't that your wife, Miss Fushu?"
The flower in the south of the city actually refers to Hua Fushu?
Ye Zelin was surprised and took a look at Hua Fushu, "It doesn't look like it."
The waiter could tell Ye Zelin was joking and smiled. "What's important about a person isn't their appearance, but their character. Someone added two lines to the end of this doggerel. His skillful hands bring flowers to the apricot forest, and no one can surpass him..."
Hua Fushu didn't want to listen to all this nonsense, so he interrupted the waiter and asked, "When will the dishes I ordered be served? It's already been half an hour."
The waiter had no choice but to shut up and go back to serve the dishes.
After the person was driven away by Hua Fushu, Ye Zelin lost interest in gossip.
Hua Fushu looked at the thing in Side's hand. Even though it was wrapped, she guessed what it was. "Duwu is just like me. She doesn't like reading or writing. If you take her to climb trees and dig out bird eggs, she will be happier than giving her this."
Ye Zelin asked, "You're still climbing trees?"
Hua Fushu said casually, "I climbed it when I was a kid, but I haven't climbed it for many years."
Ye Zelin smiled faintly. He had never climbed a tree to take bird eggs. He thought that Hua Fushu's lively and cheerful personality had a lot to do with the unrestrained life in his childhood.
After dinner, they returned to the Hua family.
Hua Fushu went straight to Yunshuiju, but saw two young men teasing a girl of seven or eight years old.
“Brother!”
Hua Fushu recognized at a glance the man in the snow-blue robe with a right lapel. He was her brother Hua Feimo.
Hua Feimo followed her gaze, his face brightening as he spread his arms, "Hua'er."
She walked over quickly, jumped lightly, hugged Hua Feimo's neck, and wrapped her legs around his waist, "Brother, I miss you so much, do you miss me?"
Ye Zelin, Side, and Ye Songyan were all stunned, but soon Ye Zelin was relieved, smiled faintly, and walked towards the brother and sister.
Seeing Ye Zelin coming, Hua Feimo hurriedly ordered Hua Fushu to get down, and Hua Fushu jumped off him.
Ye Zelin greeted Hua Feimo, "Brother Feimo."
Hua Feimo smiled and said, "I should call you brother-in-law."
Ye Zelin smiled back, "He's my brother-in-law."
Hua Fushu felt something was wrong and hurriedly corrected them, "Why call him brother-in-law? Brother, just call him Ye Zelin."
Hua Feimo pretended to be displeased, "You are the only one who talks too much."
Hua Fushu gave her brother an unhappy look.
Ye Zelin said, "My name is Yu Shi. Brother Fei Mo, if you don't mind, you can just call me Yu Shi."
Hua Feimo followed Ye Zelin, "When it rains."
Ye Zelin nodded in response, took the gift from Side, walked towards Xiao Duwu, and gave it to Duwu, "Duwu, your sister said it's your birthday tomorrow, and this is the first time your brother-in-law has given you a gift. Will you accept it?"
Duwu was slightly stunned before asking, "What is it?" Ye Zelin replied, "An inkstone."
