Chapter 151 I Owe You an Application
He paused for a second without saying a word.

She reasonably suspected that Si Jingxu hadn't been listening to her at all.
Si Jingxu laughed so hard his shoulders trembled. When he saw her delicate brows furrow, he stopped laughing and cleared his throat.
He repeated what his girlfriend had just said very seriously.

"Let's eat later. I've already asked for permission," Si Jingxu said, placing his hands on either side of him and crossing his legs to trap Yan Buyu in front of him. He tilted his head and asked, "Can I give you a kiss?"
"Wait a minute," Yan Buyu said, ignoring her embarrassment, she turned her head to look down, then looked at Si Jingxu with a scrutinizing gaze, "Your foot is healed?"
Si Jingxu's smile froze on his face.

"Silence," Si Jingxu couldn't keep up the act any longer, chuckled softly, and took her hand again. "You're a little better, but not completely healed."
His girlfriend's angry silence was quite frightening.
No wonder the second son of the Shen family was so coaxing her; he was probably a little scared too.
Yan Buyu released his hand again, crossed her arms, took two steps back, and said with a stern face, "You, get up and walk a few steps."
Si Jingxu obediently got up and actually walked around the room.

A barely audible "hmm" drifted into his ears.
His smile widened, and he wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, holding Yan Buyu in his embrace.
"Have something to eat," Yan Buyu patted his hand, "I made you some crucian carp and tofu soup."
Si Jingxu was reluctant to let go.
The first hug, which was open, aboveboard, and undisturbed, was far too short.
He took the things from her hands, turned her around, put one arm around her waist and the other on the back of her head, and pulled her into his arms again.
She was nervous.

She slowly walked to the water dispenser and poured Long Yu a cup of hot water.
"Hey! Jingxu, your foot is all better, you can walk now!" Long Yu exclaimed, marveling at the power of love.
He was still in bed when they arrived in the morning.
"Take your medicine and get out of here." Si Jingxu handed the water and medicine to Long Yu.
"I have to wait for someone to pick me up. I can't drive like this." Long Yu shoved the medicine into his mouth, gulped down a mouthful of water, and then his expression became even more painful than when he twisted his ankle. "Damn! It's burning hot, burning hot, burning hot, it's killing me!"
Yan Buyu patted Si Jingxu's arm, saying, "How can you treat a friend like that?"
Si Jingxu snorted coldly; it was only because he was being soft-hearted that he didn't directly administer poison.
“Then you two chat for a while,” Yan Buyu said, picking up his bag. “It’s getting late, I’m going back now. My older brother said we’re having hot pot at home tonight.”
"Little sister, how did you get here? Did you drive yourself or bring a driver? Or should we wait for Brother Long's driver to arrive and then give you a ride?"
Yan Buyu smiled and said, "No need, Brother Longyu. Abin came with me, so I'll be going now."
Long Yu waved to the child, "Go back quickly, it will get dark soon."
Si Jingxu took the bag from her hand, put one hand on her shoulder, and led her out, saying, "I'll see you out."
"Brother Jingxu, don't drink that soup if it's cold," Yan Buyu instructed as they walked. "If you're alright, go home and rest. You can't really rest in the hospital."

Without saying a word, he looked up and a kiss landed on his brow.
Si Jingxu's eyes softened, his forehead resting against hers, as he coaxed her softly, "Brother Jingxu owes you an application, I'll make it up to you next time, okay?"
Zhou Ze and A Bin, who had witnessed everything from outside the door, simultaneously raised their heads and looked up at the ceiling.
Yan Buyu blushed, took the bag from his hand, and turned to leave.
Ah Bin immediately followed.
Si Jingxu watched his girlfriend leave with a beaming smile.
Long Yu turned the wheelchair to the door with both hands. "Hey, the child is gone. That's her bodyguard, right? One of Yan Zhou's men. I thought he looked familiar."
Si Jingxu turned around, gave a cold laugh without expression, pushed Long Yu's wheelchair outside the door, slipped inside, closed the door, and locked it.
"Damn," Long Yu blinked, "We're brothers, aren't we?"
Zhou Ze suppressed a laugh. "Mr. Long, your driver is here. I'll take you downstairs."
