Chapter 195 Playing with her
Si Jingxu knew that.
Song Jingyi, who looks down on everyone and doesn't care about anyone, how could he be in the mood to help someone catch fish?
"Don't think too much about it," Song Jingyi leaned against the tree and laughed. "She's just a kid, let's play with her."
It's a child, not a woman.
Don't worry about him jumping out and competing with you for his girlfriend.
The heir of the prestigious Si family wields wealth equivalent to that of an entire nation.
But his sour tone was just too funny.
Song Jingyi looked up at the sky again; the large dark cloud from before had been blown away by the wind.
Si Jingxu sighed, "There's nothing I can do. My girlfriend is too popular, so I have to watch her with bated breath. You know how difficult it has been for me to have a crush on her for so many years."
“The child isn’t here, so there’s no need for heartfelt confessions.” Song Jingyi interrupted him. “What do you want with Yan Qihang?”
“Just like you, it’s a personal grudge,” Si Jingxu said, glancing at Yan Buyu, who was showing off his net. “You know that.”
“Hmm,” Song Jingyi’s nose tingled from the smile on Yan Buyu’s face, and he said softly, “What a coincidence.”
"Brother Jingxu! Brother Jingyi! Brother Longyu is here, he brought lots of food, we've all packed up, come on over." Yan Buyu changed his clothes and jogged over.
Si Jingxu quickly stepped forward to greet her, "No rush."
Song Jingyi paused for a second after his body had just left the tree trunk, then leaned back against it.
"You two go ahead, I'll come over after I finish my cigarette." Song Jingyi stopped looking at the young couple holding hands and turned to look at the shimmering golden stream.
“He came at just the right time,” Si Jingxu said, helping her straighten her braids. “He’s got all the strength in him, let him pitch the tent.”
“You’re prejudiced against Brother Long Yu,” Yan Buyu poked his shoulder. “That’s not a good thing to do.”
“Who’s prejudiced against whom?” Si Jingxu gripped her fingers, taking the opportunity to express his grievances. “He’s more like a brother than your older brother. Didn’t you see him making me drink?”
"You two are evenly matched, so neither of you should criticize the other." Yan Buyu was impartial at this moment.
"Sigh, my girlfriend doesn't care about me, I... um..."
Si Jingxu's mouth was pinched shut by Yan Buyu again. "The potency of the pre-Qingming Longjing tea hasn't worn off yet."
The girl wore a pale yellow puff-sleeved long dress, the square neckline revealing her delicate collarbone.
A lifelike little fish pendant is perfectly placed in the middle.
Her long black hair was braided and fell to one side, and the pink flowers were nothing compared to the size of her smile.
She is more beautiful than the flowers.
The word popped into Si Jingxu's mind.
The delicate girl pretended to be angry, scolding him with a stern face, her pink lips opening and closing.
His eyes darkened, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her to the side, then leaned down and kissed her.
Yan Buyu's eyes widened. Wasn't he just giving a lecture? How did they end up kissing?
There are so many people behind me.
She pushed him away abruptly, saying, "You broke your promise."
I promised before that we wouldn't kiss while camping.
Si Jingxu smiled and caught up with his girlfriend who had turned and walked away.
I was overjoyed.
He enjoys his girlfriend's unintentional coquettishness and tantrums.
She's getting closer to herself.
While Si Jingxu remained silent, Song Jingyi snapped the cigarette he had just taken out into two pieces.
I don't want to watch it.
"Get out here." He took another cigarette and lit it.
"Hehe, boss." The bald man with a bandage on his forehead had a fawning smile on his face. "The boss is the boss. Even though I was hiding so well, he still found me."
"What are you doing here?" Song Jingyi glanced at him.
“Hehe, I’ve been learning how to respect women these past few days, no, how to respect women,” Acheng corrected himself, “and then I heard you were coming camping with Xiaoya and Miss, so I came to protect her and you.”
Song Jingyi ignored him.
Ah Cheng, who had been on tenterhooks for two days, finally felt at ease.
The boss has forgiven him.
With a sly grin, A-Cheng leaned closer, his shoulder brushing against Song Jingyi's. "Boss, I was wrong. Don't be angry. I've changed. I've been learning how to respect women these past two days."
"Tell me what you've learned."
Acheng cleared his throat. "You can't do anything against a woman's will that she doesn't want to do."
Young and pretty girls should be addressed as "Ms.", "Miss," or "Girl."
When you go out with a girl, you can't let her pay the bill. If she says she wants hot pot, then you can't eat barbecue.
Speak politely and don't swear in front of girls, unless they swear even more.
Song Jingyi: ...
"Boss, boss, I'll come over and help the lady set up her tent in a bit. I'm really good at it. If you don't like my bald head, I have a wig in my bag. What color do you think the lady likes?"
"pink."
Acheng immediately took off his backpack, which contained black, gray, red, and yellow items, but no pink ones.
I miscalculated.
After finishing his cigarette, Song Jingyi kicked Acheng, who was squatting on the ground holding two tufts of fur and looking annoyed. "Put them up and follow me."
"Here I am!" Acheng jumped up excitedly.
Yan Buyu's tent was set up with the help of his two older brothers and Si Jingxu, and Long Yu even took over the helper work.
She and Qin Nianke sat under a parasol, drinking coffee and enjoying the mountain view.
"Hey, who's that? He looks unfamiliar." Qin Nianke asked, pointing to Chen Mo, who was working diligently not far from her tent.
“Oh, he’s Song Jingyi’s subordinate,” Yan Buyu said, his impression of him second only to that bald man. “He doesn’t like to talk; I don’t think I ever heard him speak.”
"Are you mute?" Qin Nianke asked softly, covering her mouth with a cup.
“He’s not mute, he’s just a quiet type.” Acheng held two bunches of freshly picked wildflowers and gave one to each of them. “Beautiful ladies, please accept these flowers that cannot compare to your beauty.”
The bald man who had left a deep impression on Yan Buyu suddenly appeared, and she was stunned for a moment.
This person wasn't like this before.
My gaze fell on the gauze on his forehead, and I understood—he had injured his head.
Qin Nianke looked at Acheng and her eyes lit up. "Wow, this bald guy is so handsome!"
"Thank you." Yan Buyu took the small flower and placed it on the table.
"Thank you," Qin Nianke replied, but unfortunately, she now had Huo Chen and couldn't flirt with other men.
Acheng stood properly and gave the two of them a gentlemanly bow. "What do you two beautiful ladies need? I can get it for you."
"Ah," Yan Buyu said awkwardly, as if he had just stepped out of a play, "No need, are you alright in the head?"
"Thank you for your concern, beautiful lady. It's just a minor injury, nothing serious. I hope it didn't frighten your pure heart."
He didn't say a word, but his lips twitched slightly, indicating he was badly injured.
Acheng moved a chair and sat outside the parasol. "That taciturn guy is called Chen Mo, and my name is Acheng, the 'Cheng' in 'honest'."
Yan Buyu smiled and nodded; she didn't ask anything.
Just as Acheng was about to speak, a black bag was thrown at him from the side.
He instinctively blocked her way, then turned around and asked, "Chen Mo, are you crazy?"
"Get to work," Chen Mo said and left.
