Chapter 390 You have to allow me to correct my mistakes.

Chapter 390 You have to allow me to correct my mistakes.

Zhang Luo brought in two cups of coffee and placed them on Fang Qi's desk with a smile.

Fang Qi smiled broadly, "Thank you, darling, you're really something! Oh, by the way, I didn't have time to introduce you to these two colleagues yesterday, please get to know them."

Zhang Luo felt the warmth and got up to make brown sugar water and green tea for his two colleagues.

Shen Buyu and Jiang Li, who were quietly listening to the radio, stood out from the crowd.

Jiang Li glanced indifferently at the people laughing and talking not far away, then looked at Shen Buyu who was quietly taking notes.

Then he lowered his head and went about his own business.

Despite his busy schedule, Huo Qingci took some time to come and visit his two junior female classmates.

Fang Qi smoothed her hair and gently stood up. "Deputy Director, I've been doing a good job mentoring the newcomer. She's been practicing her pronunciation by listening to the radio every day, and today I'm planning to have her translate some basic documents."

Huo Qingci nodded in satisfaction, "Then take good care of her."

"Yes, Deputy Director."

Zhang Luo happened to be away when he said this, but Shen Buyu heard the whole thing.

She shivered.

How did they manage to produce that childish voice? It's so creepy.

Huo Qingci came to Jiang Li's place again.

The two simply exchanged greetings.

Huo Qingci glanced at Shen Buyu's notebook, which was still open, and looked at it a few more times.

Without asking anything, they left.

"There's a department meeting today, go eat by yourself." Jiang Li handed the meal card to Shen Buyu.

"Let me add you on WeChat and transfer the money for the meal to you." Shen Buyu took out her phone; she felt embarrassed to always be eating other people's food.

"Okay," Jiang Li said.

Shen Buyu and Zhang Luo walked towards the restaurant together.

"You collected all of these when you went down yesterday, right? You don't know how delicious this is, much better than the ones at our school, and it's from a legitimate workplace." Zhang Luo was very familiar with everything here and introduced it to Shen Buyu.

She ordered several dishes, yogurt, and snacks.

Shen Buyu only ordered a bowl of noodles, keeping the total price of the meal lower than yesterday's simple meal.

"You're only eating noodles? Why don't you try something else? Are you embarrassed to use Jiang Li's card? Why don't you use Fang Qi's? She's very generous and won't mind these things."

Zhang Luo felt a little sorry for him and remained silent. His mentor was so fierce and had such a bad character that he didn't dare to eat too much.

"No need, this is enough for me." Shen Buyu thought for a moment, and, being a classmate who had come out together, kindly reminded her, "Are you going to pay her after you finish your meal?"

“No need. You don’t know, Fang Qi is so kind. She said that while I’m still in school, she’s already earning money and can support me.” Zhang Luo sighed as he mentioned this, “I’m luckier than you. Jiang Li isn’t as lucky as her.”

Shen Buyu could guess that Fang Qi had spoken ill of Jiang Li to Zhang Luo quite a bit.

She just hadn't figured out what the point of Fang Qi's actions was.

She and Zhang Luo weren't even considered interns; they were just here to learn for a month. Even if they had the chance to become colleagues in the future, they would at least need to graduate with a master's degree.

That was several years later.

Should we start trying to win people over now?

"Hey, hey, Buyu, I'm talking to you, what are you thinking about?" Zhang Luo waved his hand in front of Shen Buyu.

"Oh, sorry, I was lost in thought. What's wrong?" Shen Buyu smiled awkwardly.

"I'm asking you, what do you think of Jiang Li? Isn't she a bit...?" Zhang Luo repeated.

"Which one?" Shen Buyu asked in return.

“Yeah, that’s her,” Zhang Luo leaned down, covering his face with his hand, and whispered, “Isn’t she pretty mean and sarcastic?”

Shen Buyu gave a slight smirk, picked up his tray, and stood up. "This question is beyond my level. I haven't even memorized all the names yet."

She turned around, her smile fading, and wondered if she should stop having meals with Zhang Luo from now on.

She enjoys listening to interesting gossip, but she doesn't like discussing other people's rights and wrongs.

Back in the office, Jiang Li was already at her workstation.

Shen Buyu returned the meal card to her. "I had beef noodles for lunch, it cost twenty-five yuan. I just transferred the money to you."

“Okay,” Jiang Li handed over the earphones, “Here you go.”

Chen Buyu took a deep breath, hoping that he could record more and more accurately today.

Zhang Luo returned the meal card to Fang Qi, saying, "Sister Fang Qi, here's the card. Would you like some coffee? I'll make it for you."

Fang Qi smiled and accepted, "Okay, thank you."

Huo Qingci had just finished get off work and returned home. He and his colleagues were waiting at a red light at the intersection near their workplace when they heard a low rumble in the distance.

My colleague chuckled, “It’s only a few o’clock, and these young masters are already driving around in million-dollar sports cars, making a ruckus.”

The two turned their heads and saw a gleaming Jetta drive by.

"Hey, am I seeing things? That's a Jetta, isn't it?" My colleague rubbed his eyes. "What's that car making?"

Huo Qingci recognized who was driving and remained silent.

Shen Buyu drove directly to Si Jingxu's private club.

The staff had already entered her car information into the system, and as soon as she arrived, the manager personally came out to serve her.

"Miss Chen, you've arrived. Mr. Si just arrived a little while ago and is personally boiling water to make you some flower tea. Let me park the car for you."

"Okay, thank you." Shen Buyu handed over his car keys.

Arriving at his room door, I raised my hand and knocked lightly.

She heard Si Jingxu's voice say, "Please come in."

Pushing open the door, all that could be seen inside was a glass kettle bubbling away on the table.

There is no one.

"Brother Jingxu?" Shen Buyu slowly entered.

That was definitely his voice just now, where is he?

"Brother Jingxu, are you there?" Shen Buyu called out again.

The next second, a strong body pressed against her back, and a powerful arm encircled her slender waist.

Shen Buyu exclaimed in surprise, looked down, his shirt sleeves rolled up to his forearms, revealing his fair skin and slightly bulging veins.

"Brother Jingxu!" Shen Buyu's voice trembled, "You scared me to death."

Her reproach, tinged with a hint of coquettishness, sent a sweet, tingling sensation through Si Jingxu's heart.

He pulled her close, looked down at her, and asked, "Were you frightened?"

Shen Buyu pushed his chest, "You're scared, the kind of person who can't be comforted."

"You know you can't coax me before you've even tried?" Si Jingxu smiled handsomely as he leaned down. "Give Brother Jingxu a chance, okay? You have to allow me to correct my mistakes."

Shen Buyu's lips curled up, but she quickly suppressed it.

She turned her head away from Si Jingxu, afraid that she wouldn't be able to help but laugh.

"Are you really angry?" Si Jingxu seized the opportunity to peck her lips. "Speak up about me."

Shen Buyu tilted his head slightly again.

"If you tilt your head any further, you'll twist your neck," Si Jingxu said, one arm around her waist and the other stroking her neck. "Shall I rub it for you first?"

"Be serious for once, I'm still angry!" Shen Buyu laughed.

The person in his arms chuckled softly, her body trembling slightly.

Her eyes were bright, like the brightest star in the sky.

Si Jingxu's heart raced, and he leaned down to kiss her lips.
