Chapter 502 Song Jingyi's IF Route (Twenty-Two)

Chapter 502 Song Jingyi's IF Route (Twenty-Two)

Of the three, Song Shuchen was the happiest.

Reason 1: Meng Qingzhi only ever had one man, Yan Qihang; the mysterious Yan Qihang was just a front.

Reason two: He has a daughter!!!

Song Shuchen was able to make a name for himself through his own hard work because he never dwelled on the past; he only focused on the present.

While Meng Qingzhi was still crying and struggling with her decision, he had already started making plans.

"Jingyi, does Tingyu know about her background? Have you told her?"

Song Jingyi took out a cigarette, and under the couple's gaze, slowly took out his lighter and lit it with a "ding".

He slowly lowered his head and lit a cigarette.

He slightly lifted his eyelids, letting out a cold and ruthless sneer, "I know, that's why my sister looks at you like you're trash. What? Old Song, who's been through thick and thin with everyone, can't you see that?"

"Jingyi, how can you talk to your father like that?" Meng Qingzhi had suffered many blows today, and her son's indifference felt like a heavy punch.

“Qingzhi, it’s alright,” Song Shuchen pressed Meng Qingzhi’s hand down. He didn’t care about these things. He looked at his son with a stern face and said, “You can’t deprive your sister of the opportunity to reunite with her parents.”

“What’s there to acknowledge? You have a daughter, who’s devoted to you to the heavens and the earth, practically giving her her life. Now you’re coming here to covet my sister.”

Upon hearing his words, Song Shuchen had only one thought: thankfully, the fake one was already dead.

Otherwise, his daughter might misunderstand and think he likes that other child.

“Jingyi, no matter what, you have to let us have contact with the children. I won’t hold it against you for hiding my daughter all these years, but you also have to give your sister a chance to experience what it’s like to have her parents around.”

With a cigarette dangling from his mouth, Song Jingyi re-examined the two people sitting opposite him who claimed to be his parents.

After a long pause, he stood up and glanced at you expressionlessly from head to toe. “You two are a match made in heaven.”

After taking two steps, he turned back, his tone laced with warning, "My sister is still a minor and has to take the college entrance exam in a couple of days. If either of you has any humanity left, don't go and provoke her these next few days. You know me; when I go crazy, none of us will survive."

These two, whose minds are filled only with love and romance, how can they be worthy of being called children?

How can they be qualified to be parents?

She blamed others for not reminding her to fulfill her filial duties.

A strange person hid his daughter.

He hid it?

Whenever he had time, he would take his sister on trips. Their home in Suzhou was so big that his sister and grandmother lived there peacefully.

More than ten years, not more than ten days.

If either of them had any humanity left, they would have come back to see the old lady and learned of her sister's existence.

But what are they doing?

I'm getting old, whether I love someone or not, whether I'm the only one or not.

If he weren't afraid his sister would think he was too cruel, he would have liked to throw a grenade into their bedroom.

He first went to see his grandmother, and then went to the lounge to find his sister.

Upon entering the room, besides Ling Huiwen and Si Jingxu, there were two unexpected people present.

Shen Yunqi and Lan Xinyan.

The second young master of the Shen family, a spoiled and arrogant young man with purple hair.

He finally got to see it.

However, what I saw in front of me didn't quite match the rumors.

"You keep calling me 'Brother Yunqi,' but such a big thing happened and you didn't even tell me. You don't treat me like family at all!" Shen Yunqi said, hands on his hips, his hair standing on end with anger.

"Yunqi," Lan Xinyan called out to him reproachfully, "Don't talk to the little girl like that, she's not feeling well right now."

"It's alright, Aunt Xinyan. I know Yunqi is doing this for my own good," Song Tingyu said, holding a bowl of soup and sipping it spoonful by spoonful with a sweet smile. "Auntie, your cooking is so good. This soup is so delicious."

Lan Xinyan was momentarily dazed when she saw that smile.

"Isn't it delicious? This is my mom's specialty. My dad can drink a whole pot of it by himself." Shen Yunqi said as he took out a steamer of small steamed buns from the insulated lunchbox. "The hot and sour soup was made by my mom, and the steamed buns were made by my housekeeper. They're both delicious. You should try them."

"Madam Shen, Second Young Master Shen."

“Jingyi is here,” Shen Yunqi introduced to Lan Xinyan. “This is Tingyu’s older brother, Song Jingyi.”

Lan Xinyan stood up and smiled gently, "Hello, Mr. Song, my wife has mentioned you before, you are very capable."

"Madam Shen, you're too kind. Just call me Jingyi." Song Jingyi was always respectful to Lan Xinyan.

“To be honest, this world is really small. Yunqi even knows Tingyu. Oh my, I’m so happy to see the children helping each other like this,” Ling Huiwen patted Lan Xinyan’s hand. “The capital city will be lively from now on.”

"I've always heard Yunqi mention Tingyu before, and seeing her today, I really like her. It feels like we've known each other for a long time." Lan Xinyan looked at Song Tingyu with tenderness in her eyes.

Song Tingyu remained silent, finished a bowl of hot and sour soup, feeling both warm and comforted. She put away the tableware and wiped her mouth.

Then she stood up obediently, "Aunt Huiwen, Aunt Xinyan, thank you for your help. We're all settled here, and my brother is back. You've been busy for so long, go back and rest."

“Yes, Mom, you go back. I have nothing to do, I'll stay with her for a while,” Shen Yunqi also stood up. “The driver is waiting for you downstairs. So-and-so is coming back today, it wouldn't look good if you weren't home.”

"What are you saying? That's your older brother," Lan Xinyan snapped angrily, then realized she had been too rude. She smoothed her hair and looked at Song Tingyu gently. "Child, Auntie will come to see you and Grandma again in a couple of days. If you need anything, just ask Yunqi to do it."

"Thank you, Auntie, I understand."

"And Jingxu, he's free lately, so he'll stay here with you. Auntie will go home and have the chef make some nourishing soup, which will be sent over as soon as Aunt Wanyin wakes up," Ling Huiwen added.

Lan Xinyan noticed something was off about Song Tingyu's gaze; she wondered if Song Tingyu was trying to steal her daughter-in-law.

The two mothers left, leaving the four of them.

Si Jingxu and Shen Yunqi don't often hang out together, and they don't quite like each other.

"Yanzhou is coming back today. As his younger brother, aren't you going to pick him up at the airport?" Si Jingxu said lazily.

"When did he ask me to pick him up from the airport?" Shen Yunqi asked, looking down at her phone. "Shouldn't you guys be at a party today?"

Si Jingxu raised an eyebrow. "I need to wait until Grandma is out of danger. Yanzhou understands."

Song Jingyi sipped the hot and sour soup his sister had served him while watching the two childish kids bicker.

It's quite interesting.

"Yunqi, how did you know my grandmother had an accident?" He asked, having had his fill of watching the commotion.

"Oh, I've already arrived at the airport today, but I felt inexplicably uneasy. I called my mom and she said everything was fine, so I called Tingyu and that's when I found out."

"I haven't asked you yet, Brother Yunqi, where are you going today?" Song Tingyu asked.

"Oh," Shen Yunqi put his phone away, "I made plans to go skiing with a friend."
