Chapter 505 Song Jingyi's IF Route (Twenty-Six)
Song Jingyi patted her head, his eyes full of doting. "First of all, my little fish is very capable and can definitely withstand the pressure. Secondly, it doesn't matter if you don't do well on the exam, your brother can arrange everything for you."
"I love hearing that. You're praising two people at once. You're amazing, brother."
Song Tingyu didn't care about the two people across from her who were still talking back and forth; she just wanted to say a lot to her brother.
"Brother, I really like Aunt Xinyan. She is so gentle and kind. When I am with her, I feel a special... indescribable feeling."
Song Jingyi understood perfectly. "Yes, Aunt Lan is a very good person, a kind and good person. If you like her, you can spend more time with her. I can tell she likes you too."
“Yes, she likes me a lot too. She told me to come to her house more often.” Song Tingyu said happily, “I think she’s more like my mother.”
As for her love-struck mother, she can step aside.
No, let's stand near the Arctic Circle.
"Little Fish, is it my fault?" Song Jingyi asked suddenly, seeing how much his younger sister longed to have a mother. "I won't let you see Song Shuchen and Meng Qingzhi without your permission."
Song Tingyu put down the meat skewers in her hand, took a wet wipe and carefully wiped her hands, then held Song Jingyi's hand.
"Brother, do you know what you're saying?"
If she had been sent to that couple's side from a young age, she would have had to outwit and outmaneuver a fake, overly pampered heiress.
Given Meng Qingzhi's clueless nature, she might even favor the fake one and ignore her.
What kind of life does she lead?
Can I eat meat skewers and drink fruit juice?
We can't even get leftovers.
“Brother, if you had just thought about this scenario, you wouldn’t have asked such a question,” Song Tingyu said, raising her hand to pat her brother’s head. “Be good, I won’t say it again, or I’ll get upset.”
Song Jingyi was amused by his sister's playful words and actions. "No, I'll deal with the fake one before I send you back."
“What a waste of effort. Someone like Meng Qingzhi would be crying and begging for that daughter later,” Song Tingyu pouted. “Qin Nianke has shared a lot of novels with me, and they all follow this formula: real and fake heiresses.”
“You’re not a rich girl, you’re your brother’s little princess.” Song Jingyi saw that she had almost finished eating. “Go home now, come see Grandma again tomorrow, I’m going to the hospital.”
“No, I want to stay with you and Grandma. I’ve finished my exams,” Song Tingyu refused to listen to anything this time. “I just want to stick to you and Grandma.”
"Were you scared?" Song Jingyi looked down at his sister, his heart softening uncontrollably.
She didn't cry at all during this whole ordeal.
But how could such a young child not be afraid when faced with something like this?
"You should think about how to reconcile your story with Grandma tomorrow. You still need to explain to her that you kept this from me."
The brother and sister walked out slowly.
Si Jingxu gave Tan Junting a cold look. Thanks to him, he hadn't spoken much to the child all night.
Tan Junting snorted and stood up. "Ah Yi and I have been brothers for many years, so naturally he's closer to me."
"Then you can be with him, and stay away from our kids." Si Jingxu lazily stood up and walked out.
"Hey, you..." Tan Junting pointed at Si Jingxu's back, his teeth itching with anger, "You're so annoying."
Song Jingyi didn't give the two men a chance to pester his sister.
Even though Si Jingxu is destined to be with his sister in this life, Xiaoyu is still too young.
I don't want her to start dating so early.
The investigation in this world has only just begun.
Si Jingxu brought Song Tingyu a lot of food and drinks, gave her repeated instructions, and then left, looking back every few steps.
Tan Junting's joy lasted less than two minutes before Song Jingyi grabbed him by the collar and threw him out.
"Ayi, I have no relatives in Beijing, only you, Xiaoyu, and Grandma. Please let me stay." He spoke pitifully, trying to gain some of his brother's affection.
However, it didn't happen.
He was met with a tightly closed room door.
Tan Junting straightened his clothes and said to Chen Mo and Mu Zi, "Your boss is still so cold-hearted."
Chen Mo remained silent.
Mu Zi looked down at the game console.
"You two are so annoying." Tan Junting stormed off.
In order to see her grandmother, Song Tingyu got up before dawn to wash up, changed into the new clothes that her brother had sent, and sat obediently on the sofa waiting for her grandmother to wake up.
Song Jingyi tiptoed in and saw this scene. Suddenly, he remembered when she was a child, she would sit obediently on a small stool and wait, knowing when she would come back.
"Little Fish, why don't you sleep a little longer?" Song Jingyi closed the door, glanced at his grandmother's room, and lowered his voice, "Grandma won't wake up until around 6:30."
"I miss her, brother." Song Tingyu's voice was small, with a slight morning hoarseness, and she spoke softly, "I miss her so much."
"Are you hungry?" Song Jingyi asked.
"I'll wait for my grandma to eat together."
That's hunger.
Song Jingyi immediately heated up a cup of milk for her.
I had only drunk half of the milk when Grandma's room door opened.
"Grandma!" Song Tingyu put down her cup, got up, and ran over.
She rushed to Qiu Wanyin and slammed on the brakes, then carefully hugged her. "Grandma, I missed you so much."
"My dear, when did you arrive? Didn't you say it would be noon?" Qiu Wanyin asked, her eyes filled with tears as she stroked her granddaughter's long hair. "Did you come overnight? Are you hungry? Are you asleep?"
Song Tingyu answered her grandmother's questions one by one, and helped her grandmother walk outside. "You should rest more. Why did you get up? Are you not feeling well or do you need to eat breakfast?"
“Little rascal, are you hungry?” Qiu Wanyin knew her best. “You look for food as soon as you open your eyes.”
"Oh, you're complaining that I eat too much now? Isn't that a bit late, my dear grandma?" Song Tingyu said coquettishly, "Anyone can complain about me, but you can't."
"Grandma would never dislike you or your brother. You two are Grandma's most precious treasures," Qiu Wanyin said, holding her granddaughter's hand tightly. "Good girl, it's time to eat. Grandma will ask you how your exam went."
“I’ve filled it all up.” Song Tingyu’s eyes crinkled. “The grades are unknown, but the attitude is commendable, that’s what the teacher said.”
When Song Jingyi returned after having breakfast arranged, he opened the door and saw his most beloved younger sister had taken off her shoes, was sitting cross-legged on the sofa, and was smiling so hard that her eyes disappeared as she counted golden beans.
"Brother, Grandma gave me this as compensation, lots of gold beans, I'm rich!" Song Tingyu clutched a glass bottle in her left hand and stuffed small gold beans into it with her right. "Eighty-eight of them, they're all mine."
His money-grubbing attitude is incredibly cute.
"I'll give you a gold ingot later." Song Jingyi sat down next to her, pinching a small gold bean. "What else do you want?"
"When Grandma is discharged from the hospital, brother, can you teach me to drive? I'll be eighteen soon, and I can take my driving test. I've already promised Grandma I'd take her for a drive."
