Chapter 184 Shouldn't we break up?
Si Jingxu's expression was more serious than before. "Is he in Beijing?"
"No, she's abroad right now. She sent me a message." Yan Buyu said, feeling relieved.
She sat quietly on the bedroom carpet and recounted the events of the past few days as if telling someone else's story.
Si Jingxu frowned more and more. After listening, he didn't make any judgment. "Don't sleep yet. I'll come to you right away."
Yan Buyu stared at the video call screen after the call ended, her heart pounding with anxiety.
Why did Si Jingxu come to see her?
Is he breaking up with her because of her biological father's wickedness, and to save face for the Si family?
This feeling of unease reached its peak half an hour later.
Si Jingxu sent her a message asking her to go out.
She took a deep breath, her face solemn as if she were heading to her execution.
Si Jingxu stood outside the car waiting for her.
Look at her coming out in a silk nightgown, her brows furrowed.
"Didn't I tell you to wear a coat? Why aren't you wearing one? Aren't you cold?"
He took off his coat and wrapped it around Yan Buyu, saying, "Let's talk in the car."
He remained silent and did not utter a single word.
The driver got out of the car to get some fresh air; there were only the two of them in the car.
"Are you feeling unwell? Or are you sleepy?" Si Jingxu raised his hand to touch her forehead. "You haven't said a word for so long?"
Without saying a word, she mustered her courage and looked up at him. "Did you come here to break up with me in person?"
"Huh?" Even Si Jingxu was stunned for a moment.
“It’s okay, Jingxu, Young Master Si. I know I’m not good enough for you. It would have been better if my biological father hadn’t shown up. But now that he’s here, I’m back to square one. It’s okay to break up. I’ll tell my family it’s my fault.”
"What the hell???"
Si Jingxu laughed so hard his voice cracked.
He remained silent, head bowed, clutching the hem of his coat.
Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my chin.
The person next to her reached out and pinched her chin, forcing her to turn her head.
Before she could react, his handsome face loomed large in front of her.
The next second, Si Jingxu kissed him.
Unlike the tender, lingering kiss of the afternoon, this kiss was domineering and aggressive.
She had nowhere to hide, so she reached out and pushed against his chest, but it was to no avail.
Only after she lay completely back in the seat did he lean over her, silently turning his head to the side. "No!"
"Don't what?" Si Jingxu panted heavily as he turned her face back to him. "Your mouth should be sealed shut, otherwise every word you say will stab my heart."
Because I was worried about her, I came to find her right after hanging up the phone.
I want to hug her, comfort her, and tell her that I'm here for her.
This kid is something else. In less than half an hour, I don't know what he was thinking, he came up and wanted to break up.
She even thoughtfully prepared an excuse for him, and she was responsible for talking to the Shen family.
That's great.
Si Jingxu was equally considerate, letting Yan Buyu catch his breath before kissing him again.
Si Jingxu only stopped when her body went limp and her strength to push him weakened.
Her eyes were moist, her face still flushed, and her pink lips were bruised and swollen, like a vibrant rose.
Si Jingxu's eyes darkened.
He put his arm around her waist and pulled her onto his lap.
His voice was hoarse, "Still spouting nonsense?"
She turned her head away without saying a word, her heart pounding uncontrollably, a surge of grievance welling up within her as well.
She just didn't want anyone else to be the first to say "break up."
I spoke up for him, so why is he still unhappy?
"When did I say I wanted to break up?" Si Jingxu hugged her even tighter. "Yan Buyu, do you have a heart or not? My heart is breaking."
Yan Buyu then turned her head, her voice soft and sweet, "Aren't we going to break up?"
Si Jingxu laughed again, though he was still angry.
Why did you break up?
Yan Buyu blinked, "Yan Qihang..."
"Yan Qihang is Yan Qihang, and you are you. I'm not marrying Yan Qihang, so what does it matter to me what kind of person he is?" Si Jingxu blurted out in a fit of anger.
He remained silent for a moment.
over.
You've misunderstood.
Should we try to coax him/her?
"You've got the wrong idea?" Si Jingxu said lazily in her ear, "Just coax me."
Yan Buyu couldn't help but chuckle.
Immediately afterwards, tears began to fall.
Si Jingxu was frightened and wiped away her tears, "Don't cry, I'm the one who should be crying. My girlfriend doesn't trust me at all."
His voice suddenly disappeared.
With tears streaming down her face, Yan Buyu leaned over and pecked him on the lips.
Her lips were moist and salty, the taste of her tears.
Si Jingxu's eyes were filled with deep affection. He sighed and pulled her into his arms.
Her face was pressed against the nape of his neck.
Si Jingxu stroked her hair and coaxed her softly, "Don't cry, be good."
"I'm sorry, Brother Jingxu," Yan Buyu said in a hoarse voice, "I was just too scared."
“I know I don’t want to be the one who gets dumped,” Si Jingxu said softly. “Baby, you should trust me more and have more confidence in yourself.”
She is kind, gentle, and considerate of others, with a soft heart and unwilling to hurt anyone around her.
When giving someone a rose, the thorns on the stem are always removed.
But she lacked confidence.
She didn't believe she could be loved.
She didn't believe she would be chosen so firmly by someone.
Si Jingxu understands her.
So he wanted to tell her that she was the best girl in the world.
“I’m the only one who’s afraid you’ll dump me,” Si Jingxu kissed her forehead. “You have so many suitors, you receive so many love letters that you can’t even hold your hand. I’ll have to sleep with my eyes open from now on, otherwise you’ll be looking at someone else in the blink of an eye.”
He smiled through his tears without saying a word.
“No, you have chest and abs, I don’t need to look at others,” she said.
Si Jingxu raised an eyebrow. "So you really like looking at muscular men."
Silence: ...
There are pits everywhere.
“Alright, let’s talk about this later,” Si Jingxu adjusted her posture to make her more comfortable. “I came here to tell you personally that you don’t need to be afraid of Yan Qihang.”
A scoundrel with no background could die in a foreign land and no one would care.
In Si Jingxu's eyes, such a person is less than an ant.
“The worst outcome if he contacts you is that he wants money,” Si Jingxu squeezed her hand. “That depends on your mood.”
If you consider the remaining blood ties, giving him a little money is no big deal.
If you don't even want to see them, there are plenty of ways to do it.
“I don’t want to see him,” Yan Buyu poked Si Jingxu’s palm. “I’m just afraid he’ll do something bad to my mother.”
“Then there’s even less to be afraid of,” Si Jingxu pinched her fingers and tickled her fingertips. “Do you think Uncle Shen is a pushover?”
Yan Buyu smiled and turned to look at Si Jingxu, looking charming and lovely. "Now that you mention it, I suddenly want him to come back so I can see Yan Qihang suffer a little more."
Making him disappear seems too lenient on him.
Si Jingxu kissed her cheek, "We'll do as you say. We'll repay a thousandfold for what he did to you when you were little, okay?"
