Chapter 256: Indiscriminate Attacks on Others

Fu Weiping was sitting there. He turned his head inadvertently and saw Fu Yanci and Su Wantang walk in. He quickly stood up to help Fu Yanci.

Tang Fengzhen sat aside with a gentle smile on her face, and explained softly: "This child was accidentally injured while on a mission some time ago, but don't worry, he is much better now."

When Mrs. Tang heard the voice, she also stood up, with a warm smile on her face, and walked briskly to Su Wantang's side.

She held Su Wantang's hand affectionately, her eyes smiling into crescents, and said, "Oh, this is Yan Ci's new daughter-in-law, Xiao Wan, right?"

"She is so good-looking. Standing next to Yan Ci, they are a perfect match. They are simply a match made in heaven."

When Fu Yanci saw the eldest sister-in-law of the Tang family, the corners of his mouth slightly raised, revealing a polite and friendly smile, and replied: "Aunt, this is Xiao Wan."

Su Wantang also shouted, "Hello, aunt."

Mrs. Tang nodded continuously, smiling until her eyes narrowed into slits, and greeted enthusiastically, "Okay, okay, come in and have a meal. You must be starving after the long journey, right?"

Then, Fu Yanci looked at Old Lady Tang in the hall, his eyes full of respect and admiration, and shouted, "Grandma."

Old Madam Tang looked at Fu Yanci with love in her eyes. She waved at him and said, "Yanci, Xiaowan, come and sit next to grandma. Let grandma take a good look at you. It's been a long time since I saw you. Grandma misses you very much."

Fu Yanci and Su Wantang sat down next to Old Madam Tang.

Old Mrs. Tang reached out and gently held Su Wantang's hand. She looked left and right and liked her more and more.

She kept muttering, "Little Wan is so pretty, she's very attractive at first sight. Yanci, you must cherish her and not bully her."

Fu Yanci looked at Su Wantang lovingly, and they smiled at each other.

After they sat down, Brother Tang brought over some steaming dishes, and the family sat around together in a lively atmosphere.

While eating, Tang Fengzhen looked around but didn't see her niece Tang Wanyan.

She couldn't help but ask, "Why didn't I see Yanyan? Where did she go?"

When talking about Tang Wanyan, everyone's expressions suddenly became a little strange.

Mrs. Tang hesitated for a moment, a trace of unnaturalness flashed across her face, and she said, "She is alone in the room."

Tang Fengzhen became more and more confused, frowning slightly, and asked, "Isn't she going to eat? Everyone is eating, why is she alone in the room?"

Mrs. Tang explained: "She ate and went back to her room after eating. She has been like this recently."

Tang Fengzhen nodded slightly: "After dinner, I will go to the room to see her. I haven't seen this child for a long time. I miss her so much."

Old Madam Tang glanced at Tang Fengzhen and sighed softly, "Zhen'er, you've been exhausted from the journey. Go and have a rest after dinner. It won't be too late to see her tomorrow."

Although Tang Fengzhen was full of doubts, considering that everyone was indeed tired, she swallowed the words back.

She nodded slightly: "Okay, then go see her tomorrow."

Mrs. Tang temporarily cleaned up two rooms, and after dinner, everyone returned to their own rooms.

After Su Wantang finished taking a shower, while wiping Fu Yanci's body, her mind was always thinking about what happened today. She felt a little confused and she was distracted unconsciously.

The movement of the towel in his hand slowed down, and his eyes became a little vacant.

Fu Yanci saw that she was a little absent-minded, so he gently took her into his arms and asked softly, "Wanwan, are you worried about something?"

Su Wantang raised her eyes, shook her head, and said casually, "No, what could I be worried about?"

Fu Yanci seemed to see through her thoughts and said with a smile: "Wanwan, do you think that grandma's house is too quiet? It's not what we imagined."

Su Wantang blinked and said with a smile: "You are really a worm in my stomach. I can't hide anything from you."

"I just find it a bit strange. With so many relatives at home, why don't people dare to speak loudly or talk all night long?"

Fu Yanci thought for a moment and continued, "It's probably because of my cousin. Her madness is getting worse and worse, and everyone is probably afraid that she will be stimulated."

Su Wantang became even more curious, although she had heard about it before coming and knew that Fu Yanci's cousin was insane.

But why does madness scare people so much?

Even when relatives came to the house, they were so cautious. Were they afraid that she would suddenly go crazy?

Fu Yanci looked at Su Wantang's puzzled expression and explained patiently, "My cousin wasn't that seriously ill a few days ago. She was just a little crazy, but she never hurt anyone."

"But yesterday, my grandmother sent me a letter saying that my cousin was screaming and acting crazy all the time, and she started attacking others indiscriminately, so everyone is a little worried."

After listening to this, Su Wantang felt full of sympathy and couldn't help but sigh softly: "This disease is too torturous. I don't know what she went through to become like this..."

Fu Yanci patted her shoulder gently and comforted her: "Don't think too much for now, go and check the situation tomorrow, maybe you can find a way to help her."

The two hugged each other and gradually fell asleep in this foreign night.

Su Wantang woke up at dawn the next day. She got up quietly, afraid of waking up Fu Yanci who was still sleeping.

After a simple wash, she walked out of the room and found that Tang's eldest sister-in-law was already busy in the yard.

Su Wantang greeted with a smile: "Good morning, aunt."
