Chapter 29
With a bang, the door was slammed shut, and Lu Shenxing felt a pain in his eardrums. With such a temper, he really thought he was a treasure.
At noon, a tall, thin young man in a blue and white sportswear walked in with long legs. He took off his headphones and said with a clear look, "Uncle."
Lu Shenxing raised his eyebrows. Cheng Tiandao's adopted son Cheng Zi was a talented student in the architecture department. There were very few plots about him, and we could only know from the side that he would have a successful career in the future.
He hummed.
Cheng Zi raised the bed, pressed the buttons on both sides of the bed, placed the thermos in his hand on the raised small table, and reached out to unscrew the lid of the thermos.
The white hands, slender joints, round and clean fingertips, coupled with the orderly movements, are pleasing to the eye.
When the porridge was taken out, some of it spilled. Cheng Zi frowned and took out a tissue from his pocket to wipe his hands.
Lu Shenxing watched Cheng Zi wipe it again and again, his eyes twitching. When Cheng Zi was about to wipe it for the third time, he said slowly, "There's a restroom on your left."
Almost as soon as he finished speaking, Cheng Zi turned and left, his steps were much lighter.
"Uncle, call me if you need anything."
Cheng Zi sat down on the chair next to him, put on his headphones, lowered his head and closed his eyes, the lines of his profile were clean and clear.
Lu Shenxing raised his movable arm, held the soup spoon, picked up all the green onions on top of the porridge and pushed them to the side, then drank a mouthful of porridge.
The bright sunshine shone in from the window, covering Lu Shenxing from behind Cheng Zi, making him feel warm.
A bowl of porridge was half gone, Lu Shenxing wiped his mouth, "Cheng Zi."
There was no response, so he raised his voice and shouted again.
Young Master Cheng finally raised his eyes lazily, took off one of his headphones, and looked inquiringly.
"Help me get the urinal." Lu Shenxing thought for a moment, "It should be under the bed, look for it."
Cheng Zi's face changed slightly, and he couldn't hide his surprise, "What?"
"Urinal pot." Lu Shenxing said.
"I'll go call the nurse." Cheng Zi turned around after saying that. Before he could take a step forward, he heard the man's apologetic chuckle in his ear, "I can't wait any longer."
The temperature in the ward suddenly dropped, and the uncle and nephew, who usually disliked each other, looked at each other without saying a word.
"Fuck!" Lu Shenxing cursed softly and struggled to pull up his pants. Sweat broke out on his forehead. He really couldn't hold it in any longer and was about to wet the bed. "Help uncle quickly."
Cheng Zi pursed his lips, cleaned up the small table, took out the urinal, bent down and stretched out his arms, tilted his head, and the flaxen hair on his forehead fluttered, covering the emotions churning in his black eyes.
Seeing him stiff and motionless, Lu Shenxing said impatiently, "Give it to me."
The smell of medicine and masculine scent intertwined and poured into his breath. There was no way to retreat. The veins on Cheng Zi's forehead were faintly visible, and the sound of water was ringing in his ears. It was as if millions of ants were crawling on his hand holding the urinal. Goose bumps appeared from his arms to half of his body.
Lu Shenxing whistled happily, and a comfortable sound came from his nose. Cheng Zi immediately went to the bathroom, wishing he could rub off a layer of skin on his hands.
Lu Shenxing, who was lying on the bed, saw the young man's hanging hands were red, and it hurt him to look at them. "Go back."
Cheng responded casually, holding the thermos bucket, with no flaws on his face. However, his quickened pace revealed his depressed mood and he didn't want to stay any longer.
After leaving the hospital building, Cheng Zi took out his vibrating cell phone and said, "Dad."
Cheng Tiandao, who had just finished a meeting, asked worriedly, "Son, did your uncle eat much at noon?"
Avoiding several oncoming motorcycles, Cheng Zi stood under a tree and said, "I think he has a good appetite."
"That's fine." Cheng Tiandao lowered his crossed legs. "He told Dad this morning that he won't be associated with that kid from Luoyang anymore."
"You believe this?" Cheng Zi sneered.
Cheng Tiandao could hear his son's contempt. He sighed and said, "Just wait and see. We'll know whether it's true or not soon."
After hanging up the phone, Cheng Zi stood there for a while. He put his hands in his pockets and walked towards the parking lot. The old man regarded Luoyang as his lifeblood and was obsessed with her like a drug addict. How could he let go?
On the weekend, Cheng Tiandao woke his son up from his bed and urged him to go to the hospital. He scratched his messy hair and asked, "Dad, are my second uncle and the others busy?"
Knowing what he meant, Cheng Tiandao frowned and said as a matter of course, "Your father is the eldest brother, and the eldest brother is like a father."
"That's mutual." Cheng Zi said and went to brush his teeth and wash his face.
This sentence brought back Cheng Tiandao's worries. There were seven of them, brothers, who had endured all the hardships together. However, after their lives got better, they became distant from each other and could no longer distinguish between truth and falsehood.
It was past eight o'clock and the sun was very strong. Cheng Zi casually put on a T-shirt and beige casual pants, put on his backpack and rode his bicycle to the hospital. He parked the bike, took out a handkerchief from his backpack to wipe his hands, and then made a phone call.
"Senior, I'm sorry, I have something urgent to do this morning and can't go to your company."
"It's okay. I just happen to have other plans today." A crisp laugh came from the phone. "Then you must come next time you have the chance. Several of my colleagues want to meet you."
"Okay." Cheng Ziqing raised his eyebrows, his disappointment was so obvious. He couldn't understand why women would say one thing and mean another.
At the nurses' station in the inpatient department, several nurses were talking there. When they saw the handsome young man coming over here, they all took a few more glances.
Cheng Zi stopped at the door, and the knocking movement faltered. A soft voice came from inside, "Seventh Master, is this strength enough?"
The next moment he heard the man's command, "Gently, down."
Cheng Zi put down his hand and was about to leave when the door opened. The young man who walked out still had a blush and frustration on his face.
He noticed the gazes coming at him and walked away with his head down in embarrassment.
Cheng Zi walked in and subconsciously glanced at the trash can, bed, quilt, the old man's hospital gown, and pants. He walked through them one by one. He was irritated by his own inexplicable behavior. He must have been bored.
Lu Shenxing, who was feeling uncomfortable, said to Cheng Zi, "You came at the right time. My back is itchy. Come and help scratch it for me."
The tone that brooked no refusal angered Cheng Zi. He tightened his jaw and looked nonchalant, as if to say, "Who do you think you are?"
Lu Shenxing gave him the answer, "I am your uncle."
The sun rose from the west. Cheng Zi raised his eyelids and asked, "Why did you let the nurse leave?"
"He can't control his hands." Lu Shenxing sneered, "Although my uncle likes men, he won't sleep with every one he sees."
As soon as these words came out, Lu Shenxing was shocked. This tone of statement... When did I become gay? Why didn't I know anything about it?
Cheng Zi was not surprised at all. This man had a lot of real estate under his name, lived a high-profile life, and loved to show off. He wore gold and silver to attend various occasions, fearing that no one knew he was rich, and there must be a lot of people who wanted to pounce on him.
But with Luoyang here, others can only watch from afar.
"Left, a little more left, right there, use a little more force." Lu Shenxing half-closed his eyes. The hand holding the pen to draw felt more comfortable scratching an itch than others.
His fingers moved on the old man's back, and the feeling of his fingertips rubbing against his skin made his scalp tingle. Cheng Zi felt that he could go directly to the psychiatric department later.
On the way back, Cheng Zi almost rode his bike into the river. After that, no matter what Cheng Tiandao said, he refused to go to the hospital.
Luoyang never showed up until Lu Shenxing was discharged from the hospital. He was still waiting for people to come to him and coax him humbly as before. He was spoiled.
