She used to find videos of teaching children how to do their homework quite interesting, and couldn't understand why parents could get so angry with their children that they would have heart attacks, crying and shouting that they would spend a lot of money to send their children to tutoring classes. Now she understands, but not for the sake of learning, but because her children are so incredibly advanced, and the worst part is that she doesn't know how to do it herself.
Not being able to answer a child's question is a big deal, as it seriously affects the mother's image in the child's eyes. So, Qin Xiaoxiao, who had fallen asleep in five minutes while holding a book, took out the book from her space again, determined to fight it out with the book.
Seeing that his wife was determined to fight the books to the end, Su Lu had no choice but to start studying with her.
There was no other way; after he got off work in the evenings, he was in charge of the two little devils, and he was afraid of being stumped by their questions.
The couple would start reading as soon as they opened their eyes in the morning. When it was time, they would take their child to the Qin family's house for breakfast. After Su Lu left, Qin Xiaoxiao would read while taking care of the child. In the evening, the couple would take turns reading.
Books of all kinds can be seen everywhere in the house, even in the bathroom there are two copies of "100,000 Whys".
The couple is now tormented not only by their child but also by the books. They not only have to read them but also memorize them carefully, otherwise it would be even more embarrassing if they forgot them when their child asked them a question.
Soon the couple were tormented by the book to the point of ecstasy, wishing they could tear the pages off and swallow them whole.
Ten days later, Qin Xiaoxiao and Su Lu's eyes were swollen from the torment, and even foundation couldn't cover the dark circles under their eyes. They also had large blisters on both sides of their mouths, which were quite symmetrical.
This made Old Mrs. Qin even more worried.
"You two went out to steal last night? What's gotten into you?"
Overwhelmed with gratitude, Qin Xiaoxiao burst into tears and wept uncontrollably while embracing the elderly Mrs. Qin.
"Grandma, this is so hard for me!"
After explaining what had happened, Old Mrs. Qin quickly said that she couldn't help with this and was powerless to do anything about it. After saying that, the old lady with bound feet ran away very quickly and disappeared in the blink of an eye.
Knowing they weren't cut out for studying, Qin Xiaoxiao and Su Lu couldn't sleep at night and discussed it, deciding to share this important task. The first person targeted was naturally Su Yun, whom they considered the best student.
“Sister-in-law, the child is growing up day by day. Soon you will be just like us, struggling with all sorts of questions from the child. So Su Lu and I discussed it and decided to lend you a set of encyclopedias to support your glorious and great image as a mother.”
Su Yun's lips twitched upon hearing this.
You should just say you don't want to read, why make up so many excuses?
When Qin Ye got off work in the evening, he saw his dear wife engrossed in a book.
Qin Ye was still not used to not being greeted when he got home. He went closer to Su Yun and saw that everything was in English.
Qin Ye decisively moved away, carrying Qin Zheng as they quickly fled the battlefield, hiding at Qin Feng's place and refusing to return to the house.
Qin Feng was also completely bewildered, pointing to the large pair of shorts beneath him and saying, "If you don't go back to sleep, how am I supposed to sleep? Are you planning to stay here all night?"
After glancing at Qin Feng's eye-catching floral shorts, Qin Ye turned to Ma Dahua and said, "Mom, didn't you like Qin Zheng the most? Come on, I'll let him sleep with you tonight, and let him experience the excitement of becoming a mother for the first time. I'll lie down next to you and sleep too."
As soon as he finished speaking, Qin Ye quickly took off his shoes, climbed onto the kang (a heated brick bed), shoved Qin Zheng into Ma Dahua's arms, and lay down next to Ma Dahua, starting to snore.
Qin Feng was so angry he was panting heavily. "Get the hell out of here! I need to sleep."
Ma Dahua chuckled as she held her grandson and glared at Qin Feng, "What are you yelling about in the middle of the night? If you scare my precious grandson again, I'll make you pay!"
Qin Feng was so angry that he was speechless. He silently put on his shoes, went to the yard, lit a cigarette, and tried to recall where he had offended his eldest son and why he had to suffer like this.
Not being able to sleep with your wife at night is the most serious and insulting provocation to a healthy man, and his eighteen-meter-long sword can be drawn.
A short while later, Qin Aiguo came out of the house, quickly relieved himself, and was about to go back inside when he saw his eldest son squatting under the eaves of their house smoking.
Qin Aiguo walked over curiously. "What's wrong with you? Why are you out smoking in the middle of the night instead of sleeping? Did something happen to you?"
Qin Feng felt wronged and immediately told his father what had happened.
After listening, Qin Aiguo took the cigarette butt from his eldest son's hand and took a deep drag. "Son, I understand how you feel."
Qin Feng was stunned for a moment upon hearing this, then suddenly remembered Su Lu.
Holy crap! Back when Su Lu and Qin Xiaoxiao went to live in the old house, they stayed in their father's room.
Qin Feng looked at Qin Aiguo with sympathy.
Qin Aiguo felt uncomfortable being stared at and glared at Qin Feng, "What are you looking at?"
Qin Feng couldn't be foolish enough to reply with "What are you looking at?" So he could only pat his father's shoulder in sympathy and say, "Dad, this is the first time in all these years that I understand you this way."
When I became a father, I couldn't understand my father's feelings because he was also in the army. By the time he came home again, Qin Ye was already over a year old, and I hadn't seen the child at all. Today is the first time I've understood my father's frustrated and helpless feelings.
The next morning, when Qin Xiaoxiao saw Su Yun's dazed eyes, like a lost lamb, her mood, which had been suffocating for more than ten days, suddenly brightened. She felt that the sky was blue and the water was clear, and she, Qin Xiaoxiao, had come back to life.
Oh, so it turns out she's not the only one who doesn't like reading; there's someone else who's similar.
Having finally found a kindred spirit, Qin Xiaoxiao almost burst into tears of joy. She grabbed Su Yun's hand and shook it up and down, "Sister-in-law, I understand you. Really, these books are like enemies of ours. We don't know them, and they don't know us. It's okay. We'll work together and defeat them sooner or later."
Su Yun snapped out of her daze and stared blankly at Qin Xiaoxiao. After a long while, she rubbed her sore eyes and said, "Do you have an English dictionary? The original text is too difficult to understand. If I don't get some words right, I'm afraid it will mislead the child."
It turns out the clown was himself.
Qin Xiaoxiao angrily picked up the twins and left, leaving behind the words, "I don't have any, and even if I did, I wouldn't lend them to you."
Watching Qin Xiaoxiao's departing figure, Su Yun asked Ma Dahua in confusion, "Mom, what's wrong with Xiaoxiao?"
Ma Dahua smiled mysteriously, "She ate too much this morning and is too full."
Isn't that just being a busybody, making things difficult for yourself?
The child is still young, so don't believe everything you say. Even if you tell them what's written in the book, they still need to understand it. It's better to just do it according to your own understanding, and it'll be fine as long as it's roughly correct.
Ma Dahua's wisdom as an ordinary person impressed Su Yun, and he quickly put down his book and refused to look at it again, leaving only Qin Xiaoxiao and Su Lu still struggling with their books.
There's no way to fool them; both kids are too smart. You can't fool them at all. Once you answer one question, there's another, and the questions get more and more tricky. Even if they try to make something up, they can't understand it.
