The battle between wolves and tigers
Nanshan Clubhouse is a villa nestled against the mountains and beside the water, hidden among the mountains and water, and not usually open to the public. As soon as they arrived at the clubhouse, everyone dispersed in a hurry, clearly indicating that they were frequent visitors to this place.
"Oh! Brother Di is here too!" Fu Huiyao exclaimed with delight and pulled Xia Tong towards them. Fu Jia, quick as a flash, grabbed Xia Tong and glared at Fu Huiyao, gritting her teeth, "Go by yourself if you want to go! Don't drag Xia Xiaotong along! You traitor!"
Fu Huiyao rolled her eyes and let go of Xia Tong's hand, running towards her "Brother Di." Fu Jia watched Fu Huiyao, who was affectionately clinging to Di Yue's arm and talking to him, and was extremely annoyed: What kind of sister is this? She acts like she's lost her soul the moment she sees the enemy's leader, never once seriously calling me, her real brother, a single word, but she calls other people's names so fluently. She's a complete ungrateful wretch, I shouldn't have brought her out to play!
Fu Jia pulled Xia Tong aside, preventing her from following Fu Huiyao to look at Di Yue: "Can you swim?"
Xia Tong shook her head
"Want to learn?"
Xia Tong shook her head again.
Fu Jia sighed. How could he forget the fact that his Xia Xiaotong was a fool? But his mood instantly improved, and he smiled smugly, revealing his cute little tiger teeth: "I'm a really good swimmer. You stay here and don't move. I'll change my clothes and swim for you!" Then he ran off.
Xia Tong looked around. The entire hall was magnificent, and the carpet under her feet was soft and clean. Fu Huiyao had left, leaving Xia Tong alone with Fu Jia. The other boys were busy playing games, making her feel particularly lonely.
Fortunately, Fu Jia returned shortly afterward, shirtless except for his swim trunks, and wearing what looked like waterproof goggles. He took her to the swimming pool, chattering excitedly about his swimming achievements—basically, he was bragging about how amazing he was.
"Stand here and don't move. Time me and see how fast I can swim!" Fu Jia handed her a stopwatch and went into the water. Xia Tong was speechless. It was that "Stand here and don't move" line again. I'm not a doll you bought, you can't just put me down and do whatever you want with me.
Fu Jia was like a big fish in the water, agile and nimble, a natural surfer. Xia Tong looked down and fiddled with the stopwatch in her hand; she didn't know how to use it yet.
"You're Fu Jia's little girlfriend?" A cool voice came from behind her, startling Xia Tong, who took a small step forward. She turned around, and a face even more delicate and fair than a girl's came into view. He was handsome and effeminate, his dark eyes fixed on Xia Tong. Xia Tong took another small step back, swallowing hard. "I—no." She was quite nervous in front of such a powerful and beautiful man.
Upon hearing this answer, the boy in front of him smiled, his eyes narrowed slightly, and the corners of his mouth turned up, seemingly quite satisfied.
"But you and him are quite a good match, just like --" brainless.
Xia Tong suddenly slipped and fell into the swimming pool. The instant she hit the water, he immediately reached out to pull her up, but missed. So, in the brief moment Fu Jia turned around, he saw Di Yue pushing her. Remembering that Xia Tong couldn't swim, Fu Jia desperately swam from the other end of the pool towards them. The lifeguard, who had been waiting by the pool, immediately jumped in and pulled Xia Tong out. Xia Tong swallowed some water and choked, sitting by the poolside coughing. Fu Jia, soaking wet, rushed over, kneeling before her, his fists clenched and pressed firmly to the ground, staring at her anxiously: "Are you alright?"
At this moment, the instigator stood there looking down at Fu Jia and chuckled as he saw her tense appearance.
Almost instantly, Fu Jia, like a furious lion, pounced and delivered a powerful punch to Di Yue's handsome face: "You dare bully her?!" Caught off guard, Di Yue took the punch, feeling half his face go numb and his head buzzing. He immediately kicked Fu Jia in the stomach. Although Di Yue appeared slender and even somewhat frail, he had received professional training at home since childhood, his every move a master's, and his movements were agile. For a moment, he didn't allow Fu Jia to gain a decisive advantage. Fu Jia had also learned some martial arts from the family's bodyguards, but his practice was sporadic, and he hadn't improved much. Fortunately, he had ample combat experience and explosive power, and now, on the verge of rage, he aimed every blow at the most vulnerable spots. The two were evenly matched, a fierce and protracted battle. At this moment, people from both camps arrived one after another. Seeing that their leader was not gaining the upper hand, their fervent desire to protect their leader surged up, and they hurriedly joined the battle. In an instant, a group of children engaged in a chaotic melee, and the lifeguards at the swimming pool did not dare to persuade these little devils. They could only quickly notify the adults who had brought them.
Xia Tong, who had just calmed down, stared at the scene in a daze: What's going on? A street brawl between gangsters?
Fu Huiyao shook her vigorously from the side: "Hurry up, go and persuade Fu Jia to stop hitting him."
Why were they fighting?
"It's because of you, you idiot!" Fu Huiyao said anxiously, slapping Xia Tong on the back. "Go now!"
Xia Tong coughed twice after being patted on the back, rubbing the spot where she had been hit and swaying as she stood up. By then, Xiao Wu and several other guards had already separated the group of troublemaking children, letting them reflect on their actions. Fu Jia arrived with his entourage, their bruised and swollen faces quite comical. He came over and pulled Xia Tong outside. Xia Tong had already figured out what had happened and explained, "That person didn't push me; I fell down on my own."
Fu Jia, her lips pursed and brows furrowed, glared at Xia Tong with even more fury upon hearing her explanation, saying, "Don't you dare speak up for him!" The bruises from the fight still lingered around her eyes; Xia Tong would normally be quite frightened by her appearance, but now Fu Jia's state was hardly pleasing, even somewhat comical. Xia Tong covered her mouth and chuckled, "You look more like a panda now!"
Fu Jia saw her smile, and her tightly furrowed brows relaxed. She couldn't help but laugh out loud, and tugged at Xia Tong's little ear: "Isn't it all because of you, you heartless little girl!"
People always have to pay the price for their impulsive actions, especially children, for whom the price always comes particularly quickly. Upon learning that their son had led a group of children in a fight, Fu Shaohua and Di Jianguo immediately ordered the two boys to be brought back, while the other children went home to their mothers. After returning home, the two boys each received a beating, and then, under the adults' guidance, apologized to each other and shook hands in reconciliation—of course, this was only a facade.
Unfortunately, Fu Jia's summer vacation ended before he could take Xia Tong to see the two giant pandas he loved, because his father sent him to a closed summer camp in another city, and he never got to come out and cause trouble again.
