Both of the Wang cousins are nephews of Wang Yanli's cousins.

There was no intention to look down on the two women.

The hall was bustling with activity. Everyone had gathered around to watch the spectacle, having heard that someone from the county had presented a brocade banner.
Xiao Liguo quickly went up to shake hands with Huang Yi upon seeing him.

Su Qingci was stunned when she saw who it was.

Huang Yi glanced at Su Qingci in the crowd and said to everyone with a smile.

"We cooperated with the county public security bureau to solve a major criminal case."

"On behalf of the county public security bureau, I would like to present a banner to the Taohua Town security team to express my gratitude."
"We also thank Comrade Song Jingzhou for his assistance and cooperation."
"On behalf of the people, I thank you both for protecting the safety of our people and our country with your noble character and actions."
Su Qingci and Song Jingzhou exchanged a glance, both looking puzzled.
Could this be the benefit and reward that Wang Zhongren and Zhou Sui were talking about?
She risked her life and worked hard for them for six or seven days.
There was nothing substantial, just a few kind words and a banner?
Xiao Liguo, however, looked extremely honored. His face was beaming with joy, showing just how happy he was. This was a tremendous honor.

He mumbled dryly, "Thank you for the county leaders' recognition. Maintaining social peace is everyone's responsibility."
"I will continue to strive to be a good citizen who upholds justice and serves the people."
"Thank you~ Thank you everyone."
Seeing that Su Qingci really couldn't hold back her words, Song Jingzhou quickly took the lead in clapping.
Okay~
With this shout of approval, a dense chorus of applause erupted from the audience.
Huang Yi declined Xiao Liguo's polite offer, stating that he had other matters to attend to.
Su Qingci quickly stepped forward, "Uncle Huang, let me see you off."
After stepping outside, Su Qingci grabbed Huang Yi's arm. "Uncle Huang, is that all?"
"No tickets, cash rewards or anything?"
"If that's not possible, shouldn't there at least be a physical reward?"
"Don't you even have the most basic things like a fountain pen, a thermos, and a notebook?"
Huang Yi twitched his lips; Captain Zhou Sui had guessed correctly.
Remembering the things Zhou Sui had given him before he left, he quickly reached into his bag and started rummaging through it.
Su Qingci was overjoyed, but her face turned green after Huang Yi took the item out.
"You can't treat people like this!"
"Do you even need two cents to print a single banner? You're so frugal!"
"I won't talk about the last one, here's another one."
"I've never seen anyone in my entire life receive two banners as a reward for helping the police solve a major case!"
Huang Yi was too embarrassed to say that Zhou Sui was afraid Su Qingci would think it wasn't enough, so he made him bring a total of five brocade banners.
There are three more bills in my bag.
Su Qingci's face darkened. "Damn it, they sent me a banner, but it doesn't even have my name on it."
