Chapter 376 The Ship Is Sinking

Inside the control room, the terrified apprentice was completely stunned, staring at the massive wave that was sweeping dozens of meters high.

It quickly spun around the boat, trying to avoid the giant wave in front of it.

Boom!

With a thunderous roar, the ship seemed to have struck something, and with a crack, it began to tilt.

Just then, the helmsman finally returned and, together with the apprentice, quickly took control of the fishing boat.

"What happened?"

"Didn't I tell you to be more careful and call me from the back warehouse if anything happens?"

"Are you blind? Is this how you see things? Are you trying to kill me?"

"Is your brain filled with shit? I've already explained everything so clearly. If you can't handle it, go home and farm. What are you trying to learn about steering?"

"You son of a bitch, you bastard, you son of a bitch!"

The young apprentice dared not show any temper in the face of his master's cursing, and reluctantly cooperated with his master to control the boat.

The ship finally stopped tilting and slowly stabilized, and the helmsman and his apprentice both breathed a sigh of relief.

Just then, the crew on watch at the bottom were dumbfounded as they watched the large amount of seawater rushing in from the stern.

Just now, under the crashing of huge waves, the apprentice steered the boat into the reef area. While quickly dodging the giant waves, the stern of the boat struck a reef in the sea.

A large hole, one meter in diameter, appeared on the side of the ship's bottom deck, and seawater rushed in rapidly through the hole.

It quickly submerged his feet.

"Oh my god, something terrible has happened! Help! The boat is taking on water! The boat is taking on water!"

"The boat is taking on water! Help! Someone, please help!"

The crew member screamed in panic, his eyes searching for something. He quickly grabbed a nearby cabinet and used it to block the hole.

The upstairs was still making a loud commotion, with people cursing and swearing, completely drowning out the cries for help from the lower deck.

The raging storm at sea had not yet subsided. The helmsman, who was in the control room with his apprentice, looked at the perilous scene before him, and his forehead was covered in sweat.

The captain and the tall man, supporting each other, staggered to the control room.

Looking out through the windshield and electronic devices, everyone was shocked by what they saw.

The curses that were stuck in his throat instantly changed tone.

The tall man looked terrified. "Dalong, you're the best helmsman on the island. Come on, you can definitely lead us out of this mess, right?"

"Our lives are in your hands, so you must hold on. If you need our cooperation, just let us know."

Hearing the tall man's words, the captain immediately chimed in, "Yes, yes, yes! If you can get us out of here safely this time, I'll give you a reward of ten thousand yuan!"

The helmsman, named Da Long, had a pale face and didn't reply, focusing intently on the work at hand.

He was indeed an excellent helmsman, maneuvering the fishing boat time and time again to avoid giant waves and whirlpools.

The crew member downstairs, who was shouting for help while holding onto a cabinet to block the hole, had lost his voice. By then, the water inside the ship had already reached above his calves.

"Help! Someone, please help!"

With a forceful push, he wedged the cabinet into the hole, and sprang forward, running quickly upwards.

"Boom!"

The fishing boat made a sharp turn, and the cabinet that had just been wedged into the hole was instantly smashed to pieces. The opening, which was one meter in diameter, was pulled open again, becoming almost three meters in size.

A massive amount of seawater rushed in.

A plank, blown away by a huge wave, slammed into a fleeing crew member, instantly knocking him unconscious.

The people upstairs finally realized something was wrong; they could clearly feel the fishing boat starting to tilt and tilt to one side.

The helmsman was the first to notice something was wrong. As he steered the boat, the bow slowly rose toward the sky, soon leaving the water, and the entire bow tilted upwards.

"Splash!"

Everyone started to lose their balance and slid towards the stern of the boat.

The tall man and the captain gripped the door frame tightly with both hands, shouting in terror toward the dragon in the control room.

"Da Long, what's going on?"

"Quickly, think of something! What's going on?"

Da Long was completely disoriented from the impact, but he quickly regained his balance and looked outside.

"The stern is starting to sink. It must be flooding in the stern hold. Oh no, it's too late, the ship is going to sink."

"It's too late, the bow of the ship is already pointing into the air, there's no chance to fix it, hurry, hurry up and put on your life jackets."

"Fuck your mother!"

"Big brother, quick, quick! Before everyone can react, let's get the lifeboats and life jackets out of here."

"Once everyone notices, we won't be able to leave."

Brother Gao and the captain looked livid upon hearing Da Long's words, but they had no time to say anything at that moment. They hurriedly stumbled towards the warehouse to find life jackets and lifeboats.

The crew and sailors on the middle decks screamed in terror as they saw the seawater spreading in.

"Where's the captain? Where's the captain? Brother, brother, the boat's taking on water!"

"Ahhh, help me! Help me! Help me, please help me!"

"Quick, quick! The ship's sinking! Find life jackets and driftwood! We're all going to die!"

"Hahaha, we can't go back, we can't go back, Mom~"

Xu Dasheng watched the rising seawater, which had already reached above his calves, and trembled as he leaned against the door frame and walked inside.

The seawater, along with the various debris floating on the surface, made it very difficult for him to walk.
