Meanwhile, after Tiffany fainted, Carrel took advantage of the chaos to find Duke Ferrand and report on Tiffany's recent whereabouts.
"Has she been spending her time lately practicing swordsmanship, having afternoon tea, shopping, and gardening?" Duke Ferrand looked at Carrel with suspicion.
"Yes, she also really loves desserts, especially the sweet kind."
"You don't need to tell me about this. I just want to know if she has seen anyone recently or done anything unusual."
“No.” Carrel shook his head, but then he seemed to remember something and said, “There was someone, a student at Samuel’s Academy, who has already graduated.”
“She met with Tiffany last month and then disappeared without a trace.”
“Alright, I will investigate this matter.” Duke Ferrand looked at Carrel. “You can have Tiffany help her father usurp the throne, and you can talk badly about the king to her.”
Carrel frowned. He was trying to persuade Tiff to let her father usurp the throne, but if he actually said it to her, he would probably be suspected the next second. He needed to find a suitable opportunity.
Thinking this through, he agreed.
Meanwhile, on Tiffany's side, Duke Strickland, having neither seen his son nor found out anything after the event, was angrily walking towards Tiffany's door. Dope, who had just returned, was guarding Tiffany's door. Seeing Duke Strickland's bad expression, he immediately sent a telepathic message to Tiffany.
"Miss, the Duke has arrived. He may have discovered that Antonie is missing."
"Okay, I understand."
As soon as Dope finished transmitting her message, Strych had already walked up to her.
"Get out of the way."
Dope bowed slightly, ignoring him, "Your Grace."
"Didn't you hear me tell you to get out of the way!" Duke Strych was furious. He raised his hand to slap Dope across the face, but his hand stopped in mid-air and wouldn't come down.
"What is Father doing?" Tiffany walked out of the door, arms crossed, expressionless. She had changed into her pajamas.
At that moment, a door opened, and she was leaning against the doorframe. She snapped her fingers with her left hand, and Duke Strych's hand could finally be removed.
He looked at Tiffany's grim face. "Where's Antonie?!"
Tiff looked puzzled. "What's wrong with Antonie?"
“Antoni went out to buy you a birthday gift and hasn’t come back.”
“Father doubts me,” Tiffany said, her voice tinged with disappointment.
Duke Stryker saw her lower her eyes and her eyes redden slightly, and his suspicion of Tiffany lessened somewhat. Tiffany, with her head down, seemed to suddenly think of something and looked up abruptly, "Father, could it be that he also encountered those people?"
Duke Stryker's expression changed, and he quickly stood up.
Tiff watched his retreating figure. Lisa returned as well, and the group went back to their room.
Lisa immediately said, "Miss, Carrel and Duke Ferrand reported on your recent whereabouts and that you met with Iya. Duke Ferrand asked him to instigate you to let the Duke usurp the throne."
"He really dares to think that way. I'm not a brainless idiot. Even if I really wanted the Duke to usurp the throne, I wouldn't tell someone who's only been here for two months."
Tiff looked at Dope and told her to kill Antony and then frame Rory's men.
Dope lowered his head and said, "After I killed Antoni, I followed Rory's carriage. They didn't take the usual route. Halfway there, a group of men in black appeared. Their clothes were exactly the same as ours."
"How annoying, they even tried to make my people take the blame."
“They had a lot of people,” Dope continued. “So it wasn’t long before Rother was at a disadvantage. After they took Lorry away, Lorry slashed himself a few times.”
“Hmm…” Tiff said, resting her chin on her hand, “This scene sounds so familiar.”
After listening, Tiff stood up, and Bren brought over a whole bunch of Tiff's gifts.
The gifts from the royal family were lined up at the top. Seeing the pink wrapping paper, Tiffany picked up the box and opened it.
She stared at the contents inside, slightly stunned.
