Chapter 41 Tongcheng

Leng Yan paid no attention to Ling Moxiao's collapse. She walked straight to her position. The people around her all stepped aside to make way for her.

Leng Yan said lightly, "Thank you," and left.

As the eldest sister of the sect, Leng Yan has to take good care of her younger brothers and sisters, so she will stay here for the next few days.

Leng Yan didn't find it boring, but the situation was different for his junior brothers and sisters. In the days that followed, they all gathered around him, fearing that their senior sister would be kidnapped by someone.

Later, they felt that sitting there was really boring, so they started chatting about gossip and reading storybooks. Some of them would ask Leng Yan some questions about cultivation from time to time.

Even when some disciples went on stage to compete, other disciples would block their empty seats. Because of their strict defense, those who admired Leng Yan or wanted to get close to her had no chance to get close to her.

Leng Yan pretended not to know and followed her fellow disciples. During this time, Leng Yan also heard some of the gossip that had occurred within the sect and other sects during her two years of seclusion. She also picked up a few of their notebooks.

Just like that, three days passed. The ring match finally ended. Qingyu told everyone to rest for three days before continuing with the next match.

After he finished instructing everyone, he went to look for Leng Yan, but saw several female disciples surrounding Leng Yan, pestering Leng Yan to go with them to the nearest Tongcheng for a stroll.

When Qingyu saw a female disciple tugging at Leng Yan's sleeve and flirting with her, her face turned cold. Leng Yan was pestered by them and had no choice but to agree. Leng Yan also asked her own question at the right time: "When did you discuss this?"

They have been under my scrutiny these past few days and I wonder when they had reached this agreement.

A female disciple smiled and said, "We decided this before the competition." Leng Yan asked, "How many people are there?" Another junior sister immediately answered, "We're all going. The only one missing is you, Senior Sister. But you've already promised us, so you can't go back on your word."

Leng Yan said indifferently: "Yeah."

Then she saw Qingyu and walked towards him. When the people behind her saw that she had something to say to Elder Qingyu, they consciously stepped aside.

Qingyu smiled at Leng Yan and asked, "Yan'er, are you going to Tongcheng to play?" Although Qingyu was smiling, her hands were already clenched in her sleeves. Yan'er had been abducted by someone else.

Leng Yan nodded and said, "I promised them."

Qingyu was still looking for reasons to ask Leng Yan not to go: "Your appearance will easily attract other people's attention if you go out." Leng Yan thought for a moment and then made a gesture.

Leng Yan took off her veil and looked at Qingyu, then asked calmly, "Is this feasible?"

Leng Yan's black hair, which was almost reaching the ground, was half tied up with a white jade hairpin, while the other half was left draped. A few strands of hair hung down on her forehead.

His robe also turned pure black, with gilded bamboo patterns on the cuffs and hem. The indifference between his brows and the cold and aloof aura he exuded gave people a feeling that he was something to be admired from a distance, not to be touched.

Qingyu looked at Leng Yan, who was so beautiful in men's clothes that it was hard to tell whether she was androgynous, and he felt inexplicably happy. He had the material to draw Leng Yan's pornographic pictures again. When he found a chance, he would draw a few pictures of Leng Yan in men's clothes.

When Leng Yan saw the look in Qingyu's eyes when she looked at her, she felt something strange in her heart and she felt that she was going to be in trouble.

Leng Yan denied the feeling that she was going to be in trouble, thinking that she was overthinking it.

Qingyu looked at Leng Yan and nodded: "Okay, just don't play too late." Leng Yan replied okay, but felt something strange in his heart, but he couldn't tell what was strange.

Leng Yan turned and left, a folding fan appeared in her hand, which was the folding fan that the Su Chen sword had transformed into.

As soon as Leng Yan left, the other junior sisters came over and blushed at the sight of Leng Yan's men's clothing. But they didn't dare to get close to their senior sister, as she didn't like being touched by others.

Leng Yan looked at the sky. It was almost evening and the sun in the distant sky was half blocked by the mountains.

Leng Yan asked, "Where are the others?" A junior sister replied, "Big Sister, they went back to change clothes. I guess they'll be here soon."

Leng Yan and the others waited for a while before they saw someone approaching. When they saw Leng Yan, they first shouted, "Big Sister." Then, after seeing Leng Yan in men's clothing, some people wailed.

"Senior sister, you look so beautiful even in men's clothes, how can I live with you?"

The other male disciples were also silent. Leng Yan's men's clothing made them feel inferior. The female disciples were different. They surrounded Leng Yan and praised her beauty, saying that they would look for a Taoist partner like Leng Yan in men's clothing.

After those self-deprecating male disciples have calmed down, they look at Leng Yan again. The senior sister looks good in men's clothing. No matter what kind of senior sister she is, she looks good and I like her very much.

Leng Yan asked, "Are you not going out to play?" As soon as the words came out, the other disciples immediately said, "Let's go, we must go."

After saying that, one by one, they squeezed towards Leng Yan. As Qin Du was Leng Yan's direct junior brother, no one objected to him standing next to Leng Yan.

Leng Yan watched them about to fight for a position, and said in a light voice: "Whoever is fighting should go back." As soon as these words came out, everyone suddenly quieted down.

Leng Yan then joined them on their sword-riding journey towards Tongcheng. Along the way, the other disciples kept staring at Leng Yan. "Big Sister is so pretty!" he asked. "It was my first time being so close to Big Sister. I was so excited."

After arriving in Tongcheng, everyone dispersed. Leng Yan agreed with them to gather at the city gate at midnight. After returning to the clan, they found a restaurant to sit down and listen to a storyteller to pass the time.

Leng Yan didn't notice that the people around her were staring at her. When she looked up, they lowered their heads again. Leng Yan ignored them and continued to listen to the storyteller.
