Chapter 86 Xiao Xuanxi

After the disciple-recruiting conference ended, everyone from the Qingyuan Sect took their respective disciples' spirit boats. Xiao Xuanxi followed Leng Yan onto the spirit boat and was then thrown to the other elders by Wen Shi.

The reason was that she was dirty and an eyesore. Leng Yan was brought back to her original cabin by Wen Shi. As soon as they entered, Wen Shi said to Leng Yan, "Yan'er, didn't your master tell you not to use spiritual power?"

Leng Yan's eyes remained calm as she said, "Master, if I hadn't used my spiritual power then, it would probably not have been so easy for us to leave today."

Wen Shi smiled nonchalantly and said, "What are you afraid of? I am the master who has the final say in the entire cultivation world. Even if I really killed someone, those old guys wouldn't dare to say anything."

Seeing that Wen Shi was still like this, Leng Yan didn't want to argue with him anymore and asked, "Master, have you thought about how to punish your disciple?" Wen Shi smiled and said, "Yan'er, are you joking? How could your master bear to punish you?"

Leng Yan simply said, "Thank you very much, Master."

After returning to the sect, Leng Yan took Xiao Xuanxi back to his own courtyard. Wen Shi felt very unhappy when he saw Leng Yan leaving.

Qin Du noticed Leng Yan as soon as she returned to the courtyard. Qin Du smiled and opened the door, only to see a child following behind Leng Yan. The smile on Qin Du's face disappeared, and he looked at the child behind Leng Yan and asked, "Senior Sister, who is this?"

Leng Yan said, "My new disciple is Xiao Xuanxi." Xiao Xuanxi, who was standing behind Leng Yan, also came forward and saluted Qin Du, saying, "Hello, Uncle Master."

Qin Du nodded, and when Xiao Xuanxi looked up, he met Qin Du's cold eyes. He was stunned. He didn't expect that the people around his master were all hungry wolves coveting her.

At this time, Leng Yan behind him spoke. She said, "You live in the house next to your junior uncle." After that, she turned around and went back to the house.

After Leng Yan returned to the house, Qin Du also turned around and went back to his own room. Xiao Xuanxi looked at Qin Du's back as he left, and his heart was calm. After all, he came to this sect with a purpose.

Thinking of the humiliation he suffered in the mortal world, he clenched his fists and then walked to the room Leng Yan mentioned, pushed open the door and walked in.

After entering the house, Xiao Xuanxi took a shower first. In the evening, a disciple brought him the sect uniform. After Xiao Xuanxi changed into the uniform, he went to knock on Leng Yan's door.

When Leng Yan opened the door, she saw the washed Xiao Xuanxi. Xiao Xuanxi looked quite good, at least he had a nose and eyes, but due to years of malnutrition, he was slender and skinny. The ten-year-old child looked like he was only seven or eight years old.

Leng Yan left the house and took Xiao Xuanxi to sit on the stone table in the courtyard and asked, "What do you want from me?" Xiao Xuanxi said obediently, "Master, I want to ask when you will teach me how to practice."

Leng Yan frowned slightly after hearing this. Xiao Xuanxi thought that she had made her angry. Just as she was about to speak, Leng Yan said, "Let me go to the library first." When she was practicing, there was no one to guide her. In addition, her practice was as simple as drinking water. She entered the Qi Refining Stage without much effort.

So Leng Yan didn't know how to teach Xiao Xuanxi to practice, because she had never been bothered by practice before.

Leng Yan thought to herself, "Sure enough, I'm not suitable to be a master." Then she looked at Xiao Xuanxi and asked, "Anything else you want to ask?" Xiao Xuanxi blushed slightly and asked Leng Yan, "Master, where can we eat?"

Leng Yan frowned. She forgot that Xiao Xuanxi was still a mortal, and mortals need to eat. She once again sighed in her heart that she was indeed not suitable to be a master.

Leng Yan looked at Xiao Xuanxi, her expression as cold as ever. She said, "After leaving the courtyard, go down the mountain, turn right, and walk five kilometers. Turn right again, and walk eight kilometers. Finally, turn left and walk twelve kilometers."

Xiao Xuanxi was stunned and asked Leng Yan in a low voice: "Master, should I go by myself?" Leng Yan looked at him indifferently, "Is there a problem?"

Xiao Xuanxi shook his head and said, "No, but Master wants me to walk there by myself?"

Leng Yan was silent. This disciple had so much to do. He had wanted to keep him for a few more days and let Ruan Mengli help take care of him, but now it seems that he should pack up and send him away early.

Leng Yan stood up and said, "I'll take you there." Xiao Xuanxi said, "Thank you, Master." At this time, Qin Du's door opened. Qin Du gave Xiao Xuanxi a cold look, then looked at Leng Yan with a softened expression and said, "Senior Sister, I'll take my nephew there."

Leng Yan glanced at the two of them and then said, "Then I'll trouble you, Junior Brother." Qin Du smiled and said, "No need to bother."

Then he took Xiao Xuanxi away on his sword. Leng Yan saw the two of them leave and flew towards the sect's library. She wanted to find a mental method suitable for Xiao Xuanxi's cultivation.

When Leng Yan arrived at the library, he saw many disciples inside, but most of them were outer disciples. Leng Yan walked in and was spotted by the elder at the registration office. The elder's eyes lit up and he beckoned Leng Yan over.

Smiling, he asked Leng Yan, "Xiao Yan'er, why did you have time to come to the library today?"

Leng Yan looked at Elder Guo, whose eyes narrowed into slits with a smile, bowed, and then replied, "Disciple, I'm here to see if there's any mental method suitable for new students to practice."

Elder Guo was stunned and asked Leng Yan, "Xiao Yan'er, what are you looking for?" Leng Yan said, "I just accepted a disciple, so I came to see if there is a suitable mental method for him."

Elder Guo was stunned. He hadn't attended the disciple-recruiting meeting today, so naturally, he didn't know about Leng Yan's decision. He murmured quietly, "Why did he accept a disciple?" In his opinion, Leng Yan was still young, and even if he wanted to accept a disciple, it would take a few years. He didn't expect Leng Yan to accept a disciple so soon.

Leng Yan didn't take his words to heart. She said to Elder Guo, "Elder Guo, I'll go see if there's the book I'm looking for."

When Elder Guo saw Leng Yan was about to leave, he immediately stopped her and said, "Xiao Yan'er, the secret method you are looking for is on the third bookshelf on the left." Leng Yan thanked him and then walked towards the bookshelf.

The disciples who were looking for books inside were stunned when they saw Leng Yan. They were outer disciples and few of them had seen Leng Yan.
