Chapter 1 Introduction: Yin Yin's Iron Fist - One punch sends away unhappiness, Yin Yin...

As dusk settled, only the undulating black silhouettes of the distant mountains remained.

When Lan Shuyin stepped into the desolate village deep in the mountains, she turned her headlamp to its brightest setting.

The air was filled with the cold, desolate smell of old, decaying wood and damp moss, but the bright light, like a fragile sword, cleaved through the thick darkness before us.

Lan Shuyin adjusted her expression, raised the selfie stick, and said, "Look, my friends, I've arrived at the legendary 'Number One Ghost Village' online, Qigu Village."

She deliberately lowered her voice, her breath carrying a perfect balance of tension and excitement, her eyes behind the black mask bright and relaxed.

"This village has been abandoned for over fifty years. It's said that there's a haunted armchair in the ancestral hall, which is extremely eerie. Today is the Ghost Festival, and our buffs are fully stacked, so let's go check it out now..."

Most of the stone houses, scattered haphazardly along the mountainside, have collapsed and lie silently in the darkness. The dark window openings and door frames stand wide open, like countless blind eyes, indifferently watching the uninvited guests from afar.

Lan Shuyin's goal was the ancestral hall deep in the village, but the road was difficult to travel.

Underfoot were slippery gravel, broken bricks, and tangled withered vines. Each step was uneven, the thick layer of decaying leaves making a low rustling sound.

The sounds—the rustling of her clothes against the bushes, the increasingly rapid beating of her heart—were amplified with extraordinary clarity in the absolute silence, making one's heart race with unease.

Clang—

Suddenly, a very brief but absolutely clear metallic clang pierced the deathly silence!

What's that noise?

Lan Shuyin paused, all her senses tensing and amplifying in an instant as she listened intently.

A deathly silence descended once more.

Immediately afterwards, the strange noises came faintly again—a chaotic yet intense fighting sound, mixed with a few short, suppressed growls!

It seems to be coming from the direction of the ancestral hall at the deepest part of the village!

Having identified the source of the sound, Lan Shuyin lowered her body and, using the shadows of the ruins as cover, quickly and silently made her way towards that direction.

...

"Old Wang! Old Wang, wake up! It's me, Chen Bin!"

In the open space in front of the dilapidated ancestral hall, Chen Bin clung tightly to Old Wang's waist, veins bulging on his forehead, trying to stop the usually honest and refined scholar from stabbing his wounded companion with the sharp weapon in his hand again.

Old Wang's eyes were bloodshot, as if he had gone mad. He was panting heavily, roaring incoherently, "Monsters... they're all monsters! Kill you! Kill them!"

The air was filled with a strange sweetness, yet also carried a faint stench of decay.

The dust, shimmering with a faint fluorescence, floated silently in the pale moonlight, so faint that it was almost invisible to the naked eye.

"It's not a monster, it's me, Lao Wang... Someone help me!!!" Chen Bin almost cried out, desperately resisting Lao Zhang's out-of-control force.

But he knew no one could help him. One of their companions had already been knocked unconscious by Old Wang's sneak attack, and the other…

Chen Bin looked over with hope, only to see Li Zicheng, who had been huddled under the ancient locust tree as if he had become one with the shadows, suddenly raise his head.

His eyes were frighteningly empty, burning with a madness devoid of reason. A strange, stiff smile stretched across his lips, like a laugh, yet utterly terrifying.

As if sensing something, Li Zicheng propped himself up, swaying slightly, and picked up half a broken brick from the ground.

“Monsters… all must die… hehe…” His sharp, distorted voice pierced the oppressive air as he raised the mud-covered weapon high and approached Chen Bin, who was locked in a fierce battle with the crazed Old Wang.

When Chen Bin caught a glimpse of this scene, his pupils contracted sharply, and a chilling sense of despair instantly gripped him—he couldn't free his hands at all!

Seeing that they were attacked from both sides, the heavy brick was about to fall heavily.

Whoosh... Bang!

Suddenly, a figure moved with ghostly speed, rushing towards them. Then, a precise and powerful straight punch, like a cannonball, slammed into Li Zicheng's twisted, grinning face!

"Well……"

Li Zicheng let out a short, muffled groan. The next second, his frantic gaze suddenly went blank, and he fell straight backward.

Without hesitation, Lan Shuyin turned around and threw another punch.

In the blink of an eye, the two out-of-control adult men were completely subdued.

Lan Shuyin slowly exhaled a breath of stale air and shook her slightly numb fist.

Her breathing was slightly rapid, but her eyes remained bright and relaxed, as if she had simply brushed off a speck of dust from the corner of her clothes.

Chen Bin stood there dumbfounded, staring speechlessly at the "superhuman" who had appeared out of nowhere, utterly shocked.

His Adam's apple bobbed, and he finally managed to find his voice, "Thank you..."

However, before the other "thank you" could be uttered—

A precise and vicious uppercut came from below and landed unexpectedly on his jaw!

"Bang!"

The look of gratitude on Chen Bin's face froze, and before he could even utter a sound, his eyes rolled back and he fell heavily to the ground, kicking up a cloud of yellowish dust.

"He's tall and strong; it's too dangerous for him to stay awake. Just to be safe, he should get some sleep."

Lan Shuyin muttered something under her breath, her gaze calmly sweeping over the four people lying on the ground in strange positions, before finally settling on the dilapidated ancestral hall gate not far away, which seemed to devour all light.

She turned the camera back on, and the red recording light began to beat again in the darkness like a heart, pointing towards the deep front.

Then he adjusted his mask, turned to the camera, and made a playful and signature "V" sign.

"We've arrived! Let's go in and take a look!"

"Before we begin, as usual—let's shout out our slogan: One punch to get rid of unhappiness, Yinyin will take you closer to science!"
