Four female rabbits gave birth to baby rabbits, with the smallest litter having 10 and the largest having 14. Now there are a total of 56 rabbits, both adult and baby, filling a woodshed to capacity.
Lu Guoan stared at all of this, his eyes wide with disbelief, and he began to stammer.
"Ah, Ah Yuan, how come there are so many rabbits?"
Lu Yuan stammered in reply, "It's just that the big rabbits have all given birth to baby rabbits."
Wen Moxue and Xiao Biyun covered their mouths and giggled, and Lu Guoan was also amused by his mischievous side.
She slapped him lightly, annoyed. "You brat, how dare you make fun of your uncle!"
Lu Yuan chuckled, "I'm not joking, the atmosphere has just gotten right."
"Alright, alright, stop being so cheeky. Come with me to see the farm."
Lu Yuan was overjoyed, "It's finished?"
"alright."
"That's great. Once it's built, we'll get the rabbits over there as soon as possible. My enclosure is too small, and they won't be comfortable crammed together."
The main problem is that now that there are more rabbits, cleaning up their droppings takes half a day every day. Otherwise, the stench is unbearable, and the yard smells terrible.
"Come with me first and take a look. If everything is alright, I'll have someone bring the rabbit over."
"Okay, let's go take a look."
He then turned to his wife and godmother and asked, "Do you want to come along and take a look? Just like taking a walk?"
Wen Moxue looked at Xiao Biyun, who readily agreed.
"Great! We've been here for so many days but haven't had a proper look around the village."
When I first arrived, I was unfamiliar with the place and didn't have much energy, so I didn't want to go out for a walk. But these past few days, my appetite has improved, I've been eating more, and I feel much better. Now I'm thinking of going out for a walk.
From their home to the educated youth settlement, they had to pass through the center of the village, and along the way they encountered many villagers, all of whom greeted them warmly.
Upon seeing Xiao Biyun with them, knowing she was Lu Yuan's godmother, they all smiled kindly or nodded as a greeting.
But one of them was different from the others; he turned and walked away as if he hadn't seen them.
Seeing this, Lu Yuan frowned slightly, utterly speechless at his father's behavior.
Xiao Biyun also saw him and felt that the person looked familiar, as if she had seen him somewhere before.
He casually asked, "Who is that person?"
Lu Yuandao said, "Insignificant people."
Given Lu Guoqing's attitude, there's no need for further introduction.
Hearing him say that, Xiao Biyun assumed he was a villager with whom she did not have a good relationship, so she did not ask any further questions.
But subconsciously, she glanced a few more times in the direction Lu Guoqing had left.
