He chuckled softly before continuing, "Your older brother's girlfriend is quite nice too. She's a very sensible girl. When I came here this time, she even prepared gifts for the three children. Our two families are still discussing the wedding date."
"That's very kind of you, Mom. When you go back, please bring her some of our local specialties too."
"Alright, you and Xiaoxue can handle it as you see fit."
"Yes, you've made a good choice with your future sister-in-law. You and Dad can look forward to enjoying a life of comfort from now on."
"Hehe, seeing you siblings doing well is the greatest blessing for your father and me."
The mother and son-in-law had a wonderful first meeting and chatted happily. The more they talked, the more satisfied they became, especially Mo Yitao, who was now completely at ease about her youngest daughter. This son-in-law was not only handsome and capable, but also came from a good family and his words and actions were very much to her liking.
This was even more satisfactory than Xiao Fan had given her before. The other son-in-law was simply incomparable to this one; they were worlds apart.
Every cloud has a silver lining. Seeing how wonderful Lu Yuan is now, Mo Yitao doesn't even hate her eldest daughter as much anymore. If it weren't for her careful planning back then, her younger daughter wouldn't have met such a good son-in-law.

Xiao Fan gave some of the things Lu Yuan had given him to the county magistrate, took some to his dormitory, and prepared three red envelopes before hurriedly getting into the car.
The car arrived home just as the sun was setting.
When Mo Yitao saw her daughter whom she hadn't seen for over a year, her eyes instantly reddened, but she held back her tears. Her daughter had just given birth and was still in her postpartum period, and she was worried that if she shed tears, her daughter would also cry, which would be bad for her eyes.
Wen Moxue was both surprised and delighted when she saw Mo Yitao's appearance. Tears streamed down her face without her even realizing it. "Mom!"

"Which one is the eldest, second eldest, and third eldest?"
Mo Yitao looked at her three grandsons, who all looked and dressed alike, and couldn't tell them apart at all.
