Lu Yuan took the baby and was shocked to see that it was none other than little Yu Zhenghui.
"Didn't I just tell you to watch, not to save anyone? Why did you carry the child out?"
The wolf king gestured for a while, and Lu Yuan had to guess what it meant before he could figure it out.
"You mean you found the child on the mountain, instead of rescuing him?"
The wolf king nodded.
Lu Yuan was puzzled. "Why would they abandon the child on the mountain? Didn't they say they were going to sell him to Sanlaizi from Lijia Gou?"
The wolf king waved its paws, made a splashing motion, then touched its own head three times and made another splashing motion.
Lu Yuan asked, "You mean it wasn't the kidnapper's family that went missing yesterday, but the Sanlaizi family?"
The wolf king nodded again.
Lu Yuan was even more puzzled, "So, the child traffickers sent all the children to Sanlaizi, and he even paid money to buy them, so why would he still think about abandoning them? The children wouldn't..."
Lu Yuan hurriedly checked the child, putting his finger under the nose to check. Thankfully, the child was still breathing.
Lu Yuan breathed a sigh of relief, but seeing that the child didn't look like he was asleep, but rather like he was unconscious due to medication, he couldn't help but frown again.
This child is so young; we don't know if the drug will have any effect on his/her health.
However, he didn't have the energy to think about it further. The wolf king tugged at his trouser leg and ran towards Lijia Gou. Lu Yuan knew it had something to tell him. He followed with the child in his arms, and soon saw the wolf king heading into a nearby grove.
Lu Yuan noticed that there seemed to be drag marks where the trail had gone into the woods, but the marks were covered with leaves or weeds and were not easily noticed unless you looked closely.
Once inside the forest, the wolf king stopped at a place where many branches were piled up and began to rummage through them.
Seeing this, Lu Yuan also helped to pull it out, and soon a young man emerged from inside.
"who is he?"
The wolf king shook his head.
How did he get here?
The wolf king started gesturing again, pointing to its own eyes, then patting itself with its paws before rolling its eyes and lying down on the ground.
Lu Yuan was speechless. "Did you scare him into fainting? Didn't I tell you to avoid people?"
The wolf king pointed at the person on the ground, then patted his head three times, and then his two wolf paws touched together.
Lu Yuan instantly understood, "You mean he has a relationship with Sanlaizi?"
The wolf king nodded.
What's the relationship?
The wolf king shook his head.
Lu Yuan asked a few more questions, but the Wolf King didn't know the answers to any of them. He then stopped asking questions, apparently knowing that was all the questions he could ask.
He let the wolf king carry the child, found a rope in his spatial storage and tied the child's hands behind his back. He saw the sewing box where his wife had sewed clothes for the wolf king the night before, and casually took out an embroidery needle, stabbed it in the buttocks, and the child immediately screamed and woke up in pain.
Lu Yuan quickly stuffed another piece of tattered clothing into his mouth; it was the same piece the Wolf King had worn the night before.
The people on the ground didn't seem to react much when they saw Lu Yuan, but when they saw the wolf king staring at them menacingly, their eyes rolled back and they almost fainted from fright.
"Hey, don't faint, I still have questions for you."
As he spoke, another needle was inserted, and the young man's whites returned to their normal positions. He immediately regained consciousness and looked at Lu Yuan with pleading eyes, whimpering.
Lu Yuandao said, "You'd better answer whatever I ask you truthfully, or else, this needle in my hand isn't something to be trifled with, you hear me?"
The young man nodded repeatedly, whimpering.
Lu Yuan didn't ask his name, but went straight to the question, "Where are you going and what are you doing?"
The man's eyes widened, as if he had been surprised and taken aback by something he had done that had been exposed.
Lu Yuan narrowed his eyes slightly; this person definitely wasn't planning on doing anything good.
She ripped the tattered clothes out of his mouth. "Speak!"
The young man's eyes darted around, and he opened his mouth to shout, but before he could utter a single syllable, Lu Yuan stuffed the tattered clothes back into his mouth to stop him from saying anything.
He scoffed, "Heh, trying to pull a trick, huh? Fine, then I'll play along."
After saying that, he pretended to take needles out of his pocket, but actually took them out from his spatial dimension. He took out 7 needles in a row, making 8 in total, plus the one he had taken out before. Then he made a fist and inserted a needle into each of his fingers except for his thumb. He made the person lie on the ground, stepped on his back, and punched him in the buttocks several times.
With each blow, the young man would tilt his head back, hook his feet, and bounce back, letting out a painful groan.
Lu Yuan didn't use much force, worried that all eight needles would be stuck deep inside his buttocks. But even so, the young man was in excruciating pain.
He really cried. Damn, it hurt so much. One needle hurts twice as much, but he had to endure eight times the pain at once.
In his heart, he just thought Lu Yuan was a pervert. What kind of grown man would carry so many needles in his pocket? What else could he be but a pervert?
Lu Yuan asked him, "Still trying to pull some tricks?"
The man shook his head.
"Are you going to tell the truth or not?"
The man subconsciously continued to shake his head.
Lu Yuan punched him twice more in the buttocks. "You're not telling the truth, are you?"
The man realized he had made a mistake and nodded frantically, whimpering.
Lu Yuan: "Hey, tough one, actually not telling the truth."
Two more punches followed.
The man was dumbfounded; why were both nodding and shaking his head wrong?
Lu Yuan continued, "Are you going to tell the truth or not?"
This time, the man dared not nod or shake his head easily; he could only sob with tears and snot streaming down his face.
Lu Yuan withdrew his foot, kicked the man, flipped him over, and threatened, "Let me tell you, if you don't tell the truth, I have plenty of ways to make you wish you were dead, a thousand times, ten thousand times more painful than this."
