"Hey Lao Lu, why didn't you say so earlier if you had evidence? Hurry up and show me the evidence."
Upon hearing that there was evidence, Zhang Yong'an excitedly patted Lu Guo'an on the shoulder and kept urging him on.
Qian Weixin also asked, "Captain Lu, what evidence do you have?"
“Old Lu?” Wang Hongmei grabbed him and shook her head at him.
Lu Guoan patted her hand reassuringly, "It's alright."
Wang Hongmei reluctantly let go, then turned her back, covered her mouth, and sobbed.
Lu Guoan sighed, then looked at everyone, his old face dark red, and after a moment of silence, he slowly said, "I can't."
Even though he was mentally prepared, he still couldn't admit that he was incapable, and his words came out unclearly.
Those close to him were utterly shocked, staring at him in disbelief, while those far away were completely bewildered, not hearing a word he said.

He had been dissuaded from taking action and was pulled aside by Lu Yuan. Now that he was a little further away, he didn't hear what Lu Guoan said clearly.

Qian Weixin hadn't expected Lu Guoan's so-called evidence to be this. Even someone as calm as him was stunned for a while.
After a long pause, he said, "If that's the case, then Captain Lu really couldn't have had an affair, nor could he have acted like a hooligan towards female comrades."
Lin Xiaofang panicked upon hearing this, "Director Qian, don't listen to the captain's nonsense, he really did harass me."
Although she didn't hear Lu Guoan's words clearly, she knew they were an attempt to shirk responsibility. No matter what he said, she would insist that Lu Guoan had been a scoundrel towards her.
Wang Hongmei snapped again and slapped her with her claws.

What did they hear? Their captain was incompetent.
Everyone looked at Lu Guoan with pity.
Ignoring the pain on her face, Lin Xiaofang looked at Lu Guoan in astonishment after others pulled Wang Hongmei away. Her hair was a mess.
He immediately shook his head. "Impossible, this can't be true. If the captain is no good, where did his three sons come from?"
"Smack..."
Wang Hongmei slapped him again.
“My husband wasn’t impotent at first. It was a couple of years ago when he was harnessing an ox to a cart. He was accidentally kicked by the ox, and it happened to hit his penis, which is why he became impotent.”
Lin Xiaofang covered her face, still incredulous. "No, I don't believe it. This must be something the brigade leader and his wife conspired to say on purpose to avoid being accused of indecent assault and having an affair."
"Are you ever going to stop? Who would joke about something like this?" Sun Maodou roared.
Lu Yuandao said, "If you don't believe me, that's easy. Go and call my dad over, and have him examine the brigade leader."
"I'll go call them." Sun Maodou quickly darted out.
Before long, Gao Weishan arrived with a medical kit, examined Lu Guoan, and confirmed that he was indeed injured.
"Do you have anything else to say?" Sun Maodou asked.
Lin Xiaofang's eyes flickered, but she remained defiant, "Even if he can't, he can do other things. He took off my clothes and touched me. Yes, that's right, that's also being a pervert."
"Are you still making baseless accusations even now?"
Qian Weixin stared coldly at Lin Xiaofang and decisively ordered several of his men, "Take her back for a thorough interrogation and investigation."
Lin Pengfei nodded and beckoned several members of the Revolutionary Committee to come forward and arrest the people.
Lin Xiaofang panicked and retreated, shaking her head repeatedly. "No? You can't arrest me. If you're going to arrest someone, you should arrest the captain. Go arrest him! Let me go, let me go, let me go!"
Qian Weixin said sternly, "Are you going to tell the truth here now, or do we need to go back and interrogate you?"
Lin Pengfei said, "You'd better be honest and don't try to play tricks on Director Qian. If you tell the truth, we might let you off the hook. But if we find out you're lying, we'll send you to a farm for reform."
Lin Xiaofang argued, "You're all in cahoots with the brigade leader, and you're protecting him too. I'm going to report you to the county."

"I don't need you to take me. I can go to the county by myself. Let me go." Lin Xiaofang struggled.
Lu Yuan scoffed, "Tsk, you want to go to the county to complain? You know perfectly well whether the brigade leader harassed you or not. Where do you get the confidence to think you can win if you go to the county? Have you lied so much that you've even fooled yourself?"
Lin Xiaofang was stunned. Yes, she herself almost believed that Lu Guoan had really taken advantage of her.
Lu Yuan pulled him back to his senses, and he realized that the current situation was very unfavorable to him. Going to the county would probably yield the same result. He couldn't fool these leaders at all, and he panicked.
