"Why did that old woman give this medicine to my older sister?"
Lu Yuan shook his head; he had no clue at the moment.
This medicine has only one use; I really can't figure out what she could do with it.
Could it be that she's taken a fancy to some guy, but he looks down on her because of her status, so she's trying to frame him with such despicable means?
He asked, "Has your older sister been getting close to any man lately?"
Lu Xiaofang shook her head decisively, "No, she's basically with me."
"Do you know if she has any men she's interested in?"
Lu Xiaofang was embarrassed by these blunt words, but she still answered honestly, "I don't know, there probably isn't one."
Lu Yuan frowned and fell into deep thought.
If this medicine wasn't prepared by Lu Xiaofang for herself, then she intended to use it on someone else.
But there are only so many people in the family. It's unlikely that Lu Xiaojun and Lu Xiaoqin will survive, so that leaves only his cheap old man.
Could it really be prepared for his cheapskate father?
Could it be that there's a widow in the Huang family who they want to give to his father?
He asked, "Does your eldest sister's biological father have any widowed relatives?"
Lu Xiaoqin was completely bewildered. How did she know that?
All she knew about her older sister's biological father's family was that their surname was Huang, and that they were from the next village. She had met her grandparents twice, so they knew each other.
I know nothing about anything else.
She shook her head. "I really don't know."
Seeing that he couldn't get any more information, Lu Yuan waved and left.
"Alright, I'm heading back now. Like I said, keep a close eye on your older sister lately, and let me know if anything seems amiss."
Lu Yuan left with doubts, still pondering what Lu Xiaofang was up to and who she was targeting.
He thought of everyone else, but he just couldn't connect it to himself.
