Lu Yuan hurriedly got off the kang (a heated brick bed) and chased after him, picking him up without saying a word.

The movements were fluid and seamless.

The little girl was angry, annoyed, and a little scared.
Lu Yuan said gently, "Alright, stop struggling. I didn't mean to do anything to you, I just have something to say."
"Then let me go first and then we'll talk."

You could tell he said it through gritted teeth.
