Chapter 464 The Outside World is Wonderful

Time flies, and a summer vacation has passed, but the twelve siblings, Sanbao, have still not returned.

A call came from Hangzhou; the kids aren't planning to come back yet.

"Mom and Dad, don't worry, I'm taking my younger siblings on a study tour. We'll visit places like Shanghai and Nanjing, and then go to Kyoto. After that, we'll go back."

Wen Moxue: "But you've already started school."

Sanbao: "Mom and Dad, we already know all the lessons in school, so it's fine not to study them. We'd rather learn more by going on study tours."

Lu Yuan was speechless. "Alright, be careful out there. Listen to Uncle Wengang. If you don't have enough money, just say so, and I'll send you some."

"Don't worry, Dad, we have money. If we don't have enough, we can earn more. We're not short of money."

Lu Yuan was amused; he wasn't short of money.

"Okay, just be careful while you're out there, don't be careless."

After hanging up the phone, Lu Yuan laughed and cursed, "They're like a bunch of wild horses that have broken free; once they're out there, they don't want to come back."

Wen Moxue sighed, "I wonder if Xiao Shi and Xiao Shiyi are adapting well to life outside."

"Don't worry, honey. With ten older brothers to take care of them, plus Wen Gang and the other three, the two little ones are having so much fun."

Lu Yuan was right. The two little ones were indeed having a great time outside. Their older brothers took meticulous care of them every day, taking them everywhere to eat, drink, and have fun. They were so happy they didn't want to leave.

During the month or two they were away, their lives were incredibly exciting, with thrilling things happening every few days.

On the way to Hangzhou, we stopped for a meal in a city and met a kind-hearted person.

Seeing so many children, all of them handsome, being led by Wen Gang and three other adults, I thought the four of them were human traffickers.

The kind-hearted person went to the police station to report the case, which resulted in them spending the whole night at the police station.

The police station was very responsible; explaining things clearly wasn't enough, they insisted on verifying the identities of Wen Gang and the others. However, their work efficiency was a bit low; it took them half a night to verify the authenticity of their documents.

I remember that Wen Gang and the others were detained for half the night and went hungry for half the night, while the twelve children were fed until their bellies were round by a group of police officers at the police station.

Especially Xiao Shi and Xiao Shiyi, they almost melted the hearts of all the police officers in the room.

They were even discussing who would adopt them if their parents couldn't be found.

The police officers argued heatedly, each feeling that they were the most suitable people to be their parents.

All twelve siblings knew they were having a pointless argument, so no one stopped them; they were happy to watch the show from the sidelines.

I even occasionally chime in, asking them to share their advantages in adopting a child.

The police officers eagerly listed their advantages, much to the amusement of the twelve siblings.

Xiao Shi and Xiao Shiyi even cooperated by saying that this was good and that they liked it too, but they just didn't choose any of them.

It wasn't until Wen Gang and the others' identities were fully verified that they realized eleven of the twelve siblings were real siblings. They then realized that the twelve siblings had been playing tricks on them all along, which made them both angry and amused.

This was one of the more interesting things that happened on the journey; they also had some dangerous moments. They even encountered a robbery on the road.

A large tree blocked the middle of the road, forcing the car to stop. After it stopped, a number of people jumped out from both sides of the road, climbed onto the car, and snatched things.

Fortunately, Wen Gang and his three siblings were all quite skilled. Sanbao was a martial arts master, and Erbao was no less capable. They could easily take on ten opponents. The other siblings had also practiced martial arts, though they were not as good as Erbao and Sanbao, but they could still protect themselves.

The same applies to the tenth and eleventh children.

They had quite a few people on their side, and the other side didn't gain any advantage at all. Not a single one of them escaped; they were all tied up and dragged to the police station.

Life in Hangzhou was also wonderful.

The next day, their maternal grandmother took the twelve siblings out, thinking she was taking them out to play, but it turned out she was taking them to a house to start a fight.

The woman in the family had always said that Xiao Hui and the others weren't home and had been sold by Mo Yitao's family long ago, so she didn't believe that they had sent them to their daughter's house.

After all, Wen Moxue and Xiaohui's biological mother, Wen Moyu, did not have a good relationship, and she did not believe that Wen Moxue would be so kind as to help raise the child.

Mo Yitao was speechless; no matter what she said, no one believed her.

This family was the most gossipy, and now that her eldest grandson is back, she's bringing people to their door to give them a good slap in the face.

The other party didn't get along with Mo Yitao to begin with, and even after being embarrassed, they didn't repent and started making up other things.

Mo Yitao was so angry that she started cursing. The two women stood there with one hand on their hip and the other pointing at each other, stomping their feet while cursing rhythmically.

The twelve siblings were astonished to see such a spectacle for the first time, and they watched with great interest, completely dumbfounded.

Finally, the most eloquent of the six, Gao Jinchen, stood in front of his grandmother, reasoning with her and appealing to her emotions, like a monk chanting scriptures, until the other side was utterly defeated.

Using the excuse that he wouldn't stoop to a child's level, the other person turned around and went back inside.

Mo Yitao was overjoyed and led her twelve siblings home in high spirits.

There are many more interesting things like this. Their time away from home has given them new experiences and a lot of fun. It has broadened their horizons, increased their knowledge, and given them new insights.

In short, the group of kids felt they had benefited greatly from their study abroad experience and wanted to continue their study tour for a while longer.

What they didn't know was that the Changhe Brigade had also been having a very exciting time lately.

Sun Maodou helped send off batches of big bosses from Gangcheng, but he himself never left.

Every day, the accountant Su Yun puts on a show of her running away while he chases her, and the whole brigade enjoys watching the drama unfold.

"Accountant Su, what a coincidence! We're really destined to meet. This is our eighteenth time meeting today."

"Accountant Su, have you eaten? Why don't you come to my house and try my cooking?"

"Accountant Su, to be honest, do you miss me a lot? Otherwise, why do you keep appearing in front of me?"

"Hey, Accountant Su, don't run away! I haven't caught up with you yet."

...

Sun Maodou's shamelessness has been making Su Yun miserable lately. She's in a new environment, and not many people know about her past. She just wants to live a good life.

I don't want to be harassed, and I don't want to put myself in the center of public opinion.

Now, when many people in the village see her, they ask her if she promised Sun Maodou, linking her to this person, even though she hasn't done anything.

She was very scared and distressed.

Lu Yuan and Wen Moxue also noticed that something was wrong with her, so they had to remind Sun Maodou.

“Su Yun is different from the other women you’ve dated. If you genuinely want to settle down, show your sincerity. Don’t be glib or pushy. Be steady and let her see that you are a reliable person.”

She has been hurt and experienced grief. What she needs is someone who doesn't mind her past and can live a stable life, not someone like Sun Maodou who seems frivolous.

Sun Maodou pondered for a moment, then suddenly jumped up.

"Brother Yuan, sister-in-law, I understand now, thank you!"
