Under the moonlight, Lin Yue and Chen Yu nestled together, dreaming of a peaceful future. However, as the sun rose anew, they plunged back into their busy and fulfilling lives.
Lin Yue was busy in the clinic as usual, carefully diagnosing and dispensing medicine for each villager who came to see her. Most of those seeking treatment today had minor ailments; some were children with colds and coughs, while others were adults with backaches from overwork. Lin Yue gently wiped the nose of a little boy with a runny nose, smiling as she said, "Little one, you can't be cold anymore, or your nose will keep acting up." The little boy blinked his big eyes and replied in a childish voice, "I know, Sister Lin, I'll be good from now on." Looking at the little boy's adorable face, Lin Yue felt a warmth in her heart.
Chen Yu helped organize the medicinal herbs, carefully bundling the dried herbs with nimble movements. He glanced at Lin Yue every now and then, his eyes filled with growing affection. After finishing their morning rounds of consultations, Lin Yue and Chen Yu finally had a moment to rest. They sat on a bench outside the clinic, the sunlight bathing them in a warm, languid glow.
Lin Yue stretched and looked at Chen Yu: "Chen Yu, although more people have been coming to the clinic recently, I've noticed that many villagers are not in good health, which is largely due to their living conditions."
Chen Yu nodded: "Yes, I've noticed that too. Life here is indeed tough; everyone's nutrition is inadequate, and the sanitation is poor."

The two became more and more excited as they talked, as if they could already see the newly renovated dormitory of the educated youth.
In the afternoon, Lin Yue and Chen Yu gathered the educated youth together and explained the plan to improve their living conditions. The educated youth were very excited and expressed their support.
One of the female educated youths said happily, "That's wonderful! I couldn't stand this dirty and messy dormitory for a long time. Lin Yue, your idea is really brilliant!"
One of the male educated youths smiled and said, "Yes, we can divide the work and cooperate to get this big clean-up done."

Lin Yue led the cleaning team into a dormitory. The dormitory reeked of mildew, and the corners were piled high with old farm tools and other odds and ends that had been there for who knows how long. Lin Yue frowned, picked up a broom, and began sweeping the floor.
"Come on everyone! Let's clear out all this useless stuff and make this place look brand new!" Lin Yue shouted.
The educated youth responded enthusiastically. Some shoveled up the garbage, while others used carts to move the debris outside. While cleaning a corner, one of the educated youth accidentally cut his finger on a rusty nail, and blood flowed freely.
"Oh dear!" the educated youth cried out in pain.
Hearing the noise, Lin Yue rushed over. She checked the wound, then quickly got disinfectant and gauze from the infirmary to treat the educated youth's wound.
"How could you be so careless? This nail is rusty; it's easy for it to get infected. Be more careful when you work in the future," Lin Yue scolded while treating the wound, but her eyes were full of concern.
The injured educated youth scratched his head somewhat embarrassedly: "I was in too much of a hurry and didn't notice. Lin Yue, thank you."
On the other side, Chen Yu was leading his window repair team, working enthusiastically. They had found some timber in the village warehouse and were sawing it to the appropriate length. Chen Yu wielded the saw, his forehead covered in sweat, but his eyes were full of energy.
"After you've sawed the wood, you can nail it to the window frame and then cover it with oil paper so the windows won't let in drafts," Chen Yu instructed the educated youth.
A young intellectual, holding a saw, struggled to cut wood. He smiled and said, "Chen Yu, this job is really not easy, but once the windows are fixed, we can get a good night's sleep."
