Chapter 25 Jinbao might be a little waste

Jinbao folded his hands together on the table, straightened his back and sat down obediently.

"I'm ready!"

He Shan is a good student and has heard the story of Snow White, but she still doesn't recognize some of the words in the book.

But it doesn’t matter, she also knows pinyin!

In order to please Xiao Jinbao with her admiring gaze, she began to tell her the story of Snow White.

He Shan read the storybook haltingly. When she came across a word she didn't know, she would stop and spell it out before continuing reading.

The two kids spent a whole hour just telling the story of Snow White.

Reading storybooks was interesting, but He Shan felt it was more tiring than when she was in school.

Jinbao clapped his hands, his eyes sparkling, and praised sincerely: "Sister Shanshan, you are so amazing!"

He Shan gradually lost herself in Jinbao's praises and a bit of embarrassment appeared on her face. Her mother and teacher would also praise her, but not as passionately and purely as Jinbao's.

But praise and admiration are one thing. If she were asked to read the story again, she would rather choose not to have this admiration!

She put the storybook back to its place, and then seemed to remember something, and excitedly pulled Jinbao: "Jinbao, let me teach you Taekwondo!"

"After you learn Taekwondo, no one will dare to bully you anymore. You can beat eight people by yourself!"

Jinbao suddenly perked up and turned to look at He Shan: "Really?!"

Although I don’t know what Taekwondo is, but one person beating eight people sounds pretty impressive!

She actually saw it all when her second brother had a fight last time, but he didn't want her to see it, so she just pretended not to see it.

She also wanted to be as powerful as her second brother and beat the bad guys away when she met them!

Jinbao couldn't contain his excitement at the thought that he could knock down the bad guy with just one punch.

"Sister Shanshan, please teach me!"

Seeing Jinbao's eagerness to learn, He Shan told her: "The teacher said that you can't be impatient when learning Taekwondo. I have been learning for a year. Let's start with the most basic horse stance."

Jinbao imitated He Shan, clenched his hands into small fists and placed them on both sides of his waist, bending his knees slightly.

He Shan had practiced horse stance for a long time before, so she could persist for a long time.

Jinbao was different. It was her first practice and the back of her thighs began to tremble after she had not been standing for long.

Her brows were almost furrowed together. She turned her head and saw that He Shan was still persisting, so she didn't want to give up either.

The final result was that Xiao Jinbao fell to his knees with a thud, which scared He Shan.

"Are you okay?"

Jinbao's hind legs were so sore and tired that he couldn't even lift them up, so he just lay on the ground and acted like a salted fish.

Jin Bao was hopeless: "Sister Shanshan, I might be a little loser who can't even stand steadily."

"No."

He Shan pulled her arm and tried to pull her up, but failed after several attempts. She simply lay down next to Jin Bao: "Some people have studied Taekwondo for ten or eight years and still cannot become a master. You are not normal now."

"How about this!"

He Shan turned over neatly, lying on the ground and looking sideways at Jin Bao: "I will teach you two moves directly, you want to try?"

The horse stance is too slow, why not let Jinbao learn shoulder throws or something like that...

Jin Bao's big dark eyes rolled around and he said with great interest, "Let's try it!"

He Shan taught Jinbao two of the most basic moves, and then let Jinbao try them.

Just as the two of them were entangled with each other, there was a knock on the door.

"Jinbao, it's almost time for dinner."

"Your fourth brother is awake, do you want to go check on him?"

When Gu Quanhai and Uncle He opened the door, they found the two little girls fighting with each other!

The collar of his clothes was wrinkled and his hair was messy.

In the living room, Gu Quanhai and Uncle He understood the whole story.

He looked down at Jinbao and He Shan, who were twisting their fingers, looking as if they were admitting their mistakes.

Uncle He held a feather duster in his hand, puffing his beard and glaring: "So you are not fighting at all, but learning Taekwondo?"

Jinbao glanced in He Shan's direction and happened to meet her eyes. They both found it a little funny, but nodded guiltily.

Uncle He threw the feather duster away and breathed a sigh of relief.

It was he who suggested taking He Shan in. If the two children started fighting, he would not know what to do.

Gu Yujian felt that the atmosphere was not right, so he chuckled and tried to smooth things over, "Jinbao hasn't been out since everyone at home has been together recently, so let's go camping in Jingyue Park tomorrow."

When he heard about camping, Jinbao raised his head and was about to say yes.

Before, Jiang's mother took Jiang Tian out camping, and she was cleaning the house at home, so she had never been camping!

But when he looked up and met Uncle He's fierce glaring eyes, Jinbao lowered his head guiltily again.

She doesn't want to learn Taekwondo anymore.

He Shan quietly squeezed Jinbao's little hand, telling her not to worry, she had a solution.

"Uncle Gu, do we need to prepare something?"

Gu Quanhai nodded and took out two bank cards from the drawer and placed them on the table: "Go buy whatever you want to eat or need. The car keys are at the door."

Jinbao thought his father looked so domineering just now, just like the overbearing president on TV.

He threw a thick stack of money on the table, crossed his legs and said, "Spend it."

Gu Quanhai didn’t know what was going on in Jinbao’s little head, otherwise he would have given her a blow to the head and banned her from watching those meaningless soap operas.

Gu Nan: "Then I'll prepare some small cakes and desserts."

He Shan successfully changed the topic to camping, and Jin Bao also raised his hand: "Then can I go to the supermarket with Sister Shanshan?"

Jinbao's thoughts were written all over her face. One could tell at a glance that she was going to buy snacks, but no one exposed her.

Gu Jiang sat on the sofa with his hands in his pockets: "I'll go with you."

Everyone spoke up, and except for Gu Sheng who was still busy, everyone else quickly arranged their tasks.

The yard next door.

Song Yanzhi sat on the swing in the yard, holding a piece of candy in his hand, his eyes fixed in the direction of the Gu family manor.

These days, ever since he was rescued by Jinbao, he would always think of the little girl's smiling face in his mind.

"Yan Yan."

The man's voice sounded in the darkness. Song Yanzhi's expression froze and he put the candy in his pocket.

The figure of a man slowly emerged in the darkness and finally stopped beside Song Yanzhi. It was his father Song Bai.

"Yanyan, daddy will take you camping tomorrow."

Hearing this, Song Yanzhi looked at him in surprise.

For so many years, that woman beat and scolded him, and he, as a father, knew about it, but he never asked about it. Now she suddenly said she wanted to take him camping?

For a moment, Song Yanzhi thought of many possibilities.

Maybe his father knew about the injuries he suffered and wanted to give him some compensation?

It is also possible that his father felt that he was an eyesore to his vicious stepmother and wanted to send him away.

Although he had some doubts in his heart, Song Yanzhi still had some expectations for him as a father and nodded slightly in agreement.

Song Yanzhi didn't notice that when he nodded in agreement, his father seemed to be relieved.
