Chapter 9 Let her learn a lesson

Chapter 9 Let her learn a lesson

Just past noon, Ruan Xingzhu was dutifully acting as Gu Qingsu's support staff, watching Gu Qingsu stand by the pond, holding a large handful of fish food, throwing it into the pond one handful after another, her actions completely unrestrained.

Ruan Xingzhu frowned slightly and couldn't help but speak up, "Fifth Sister, isn't that enough...?"

She paused, glanced at the fish happily scrambling for food in the pond, and said, "If you keep feeding the fish, you'll stuff them to death."

As she spoke, she reached behind her back and hid the fish feed, afraid that Gu Qingxu would reach for it again.

Gu Qingxu stopped what she was doing, a helpless look on her face. She sighed and said, "What else can I do? There's nothing fun in the capital. I'm really bored."

As she spoke, she fanned herself with her hand, her eyes filled with boredom.

Ruan Xingzhu put down the fish feed, and suddenly a thought flashed through her mind. As if remembering something, her eyes lit up and she asked, "Fifth Sister, do you know about the Star Gazing Pavilion?"

Gu Qingxu, who was feeling bored, paused slightly when she heard this. She tilted her head back and tried to recall, vaguely remembering that Yi Mingyu had mentioned it to her once.

"I don't know, but Yi Mingyu did tell me it's a newly developed place in the capital." She clapped her hands, jumped off the stone block, walked to Ruan Xingzhu's side, tilted her head, and asked curiously, "What, you want to go?"

Ruan Xingzhu hesitated for a moment. She had heard from the man surnamed You that all the sons of powerful and influential people in the capital would be going, which was indeed a good opportunity. Although Gu Yun'an had agreed to help her, she should also put in some effort. If she could plan it herself, then she wouldn't need to trouble Gu Yun'an.

Thinking of this, she lowered her eyes and said with a somewhat ambiguous expression, "I don't really want to go, but it sounds interesting."

Gu Qingsu knew her well and immediately saw through her little scheme. A sly smile appeared on his lips, and he generously said, "Then let's go together tonight."

Ruan Xingzhu hesitated, a hint of worry in her eyes, and asked softly, "Does Madam allow it?"

Gu Yun'an thought for a moment. In the past, she would definitely not have been allowed to go out at night, but if she said that she was going with He Yimingyu, then Cheng Shi would be more than happy to let her go.

"Alright, I'll invite Yi Mingyu tonight, that should do it." Gu Qingxu said, gently tapping Ruan Xingzhu's head.

After dinner, as dusk settled and night slowly unfolded like a black silk ribbon, Gu Qingxu took Ruan Xingzhu out the door.

However, no sooner had they stepped out than their movements were reported to Gu Yun'an.

Gu Yun'an's previously calm expression shifted slightly, a barely perceptible dark light flashing in his deep eyes, though the dark light didn't reach his eyes. After only a moment, he slowly stood up...

Standing in front of the Star Gazing Pavilion, Yi Mingyu was suddenly invited by Gu Qingsu, and he couldn't help but feel flattered. Before leaving, he unusually tidied himself up, changing into a clean and tidy blue robe to make himself look less old-fashioned.

Looking at the noisy crowd inside, Gu Qingxu turned to Yi Mingyu and asked, "Do you know what else you can do inside besides stargazing?"

Yi Mingyu was slightly taken aback, a hint of hesitation appearing on his face. He only knew about the Star Gazing Pavilion from You Yemeng, and as for whether there were any others, he really didn't know.

Seeing that Yi Mingyu remained silent, Gu Qingsu assumed he hadn't heard her and raised her voice to ask again.

Only then did Yi Mingyu hesitate, stammering, "I...don't know."

Gu Qingxu was somewhat speechless. Wasn't it her who told him this? In the end, how could she not know? But looking at him dressed in blue, looking like a proper scholar, it suddenly made sense.

"Never mind, let's go in and see for ourselves." With that, she reached out and took Ruan Xingzhu's hand, and strode into the room. Yi Mingyu quickly followed.

Upon entering, the bustling scene inside immediately caught their eye. Ruan Xingzhu looked around curiously, and as You Yemeng had said, quite a few young men from the capital had indeed come today, and many of them were around the same age as them.

"Brother Yi, are you here to join in the fun too?" Yi Mingyu was suddenly stopped by a loud voice.

He looked in the direction of the sound and saw You Yemeng, dressed in a bright purple robe, walking towards him.

Yi Mingyu quickly responded, "I just had some free time, so I came to take a look."

Hearing Yi Mingyu's response, Gu Qingxu felt somewhat at ease. She had been worried that she might have taken up his time, but now it seemed there was no need to worry.

Looking at You Yemeng, she couldn't help but recall the day they met, when she mistook him for Yi Mingyu's accomplice.

You Yemeng's gaze swept around and finally landed on the two young ladies, Ruan Xingzhu and Gu Qingsu. He immediately put on a warm smile and generously invited them, "The private rooms in this building are all booked out. Fortunately, I booked one in advance. If you don't mind, you can come with me."

He bowed slightly and gestured for him to enter, looking every bit the gentleman.

Yi Mingyu subconsciously glanced at Gu Qingxu, his eyes questioning. Gu Qingxu sensed his gaze but didn't think much of it and readily agreed. After all, they were all people Yi Mingyu knew, so it wouldn't hurt to go.

You Yemeng led the three to a private room, which featured an openwork design, allowing a clear view of the night sky.

After exchanging pleasantries for a while, Gu Qingxu felt a bit stuffy. She wrinkled her nose slightly, fanned herself, and said, "I want to go for a walk."

Ruan Xingzhu quickly put down the pastries she was eating, stood up, and said with concern, "I will go with you."

However, You Yemeng suddenly spoke up, with a seemingly gentle smile on his face: "It's fine to go after you finish eating. Tonight's pastries were made by a chef from the Western Regions, and they're only available tonight."

Upon hearing this, Gu Qingxu quickly replied, "Then I'll walk slowly and come find me after I've finished eating."

Ruan Xingzhu hesitated for a moment, looked around, and felt that it was not a closed space, so it should be fine. She then nodded in agreement.

No sooner had Gu Qingsu left than Yi Mingyu followed her.

After the two left, You Yemeng's smile instantly became somewhat meaningful.

He turned around and poured Ruan Xingzhu another cup of tea, a hint of barely perceptible excitement flashing in his eyes, as he thoughtfully instructed, "Drink some tea so you don't choke."

Seeing that Ruan Xingzhu drank the tea without any hesitation, You Yemeng couldn't help but feel a hint of smugness in his eyes, and the corners of his mouth turned up slightly, revealing a barely perceptible wicked smile.

He had actually arrived quite early; he came today to have some fun, but he hadn't expected Ruan Xingzhu to actually come.

He had already investigated and found out that Ruan Xingzhu was just an orphan girl picked up by the Gu family, not even a distant relative of the girl. So he figured that since he had toyed with her, she probably wouldn't dare to make a fuss.

When he first met Ruan Xingzhu, he felt that she was obedient and gentle. He was used to playing with those delicate and naive women who were all about makeup and didn't know the ways of the world. Ruan Xingzhu's personality made him feel a little itchy.

After taking a few sips of tea, Ruan Xingzhu suddenly felt that You Yemeng had been staring at her ever since Gu Qingsu left. She wasn't sure if it was just her imagination, but she sensed a burning, greedy intensity in his eyes, which made her extremely uncomfortable.

A sense of unease welled up inside her, and she quickly stood up, intending to go find Gu Qingxu.

However, as soon as she stood up, she suddenly felt dizzy and her legs felt weak as if they were filled with lead.

She swayed, trying to steady herself. In her dazed state, she seemed to see You Yemeng walking towards her with a wicked smile. Then the scene before her gradually blurred and she could no longer see clearly.

You Yemeng caught Ruan Xingzhu's swaying body steadily, a triumphant wicked smile appearing on his lips. He held her waist tightly with both hands and quickly dragged Ruan Xingzhu to the room that had been prepared in advance.

After placing Ruan Xingzhu on the bed, You Yemeng leaned close to her neck, took a deep breath of her fragrance, his face full of ill intent, and muttered, "What a little beauty."

Sensing someone moving her, Ruan Xingzhu slowly opened her eyes, only to find herself no longer in the private room, but in an unfamiliar room. The room was dimly lit, with only a flickering candle beside the bed illuminating You Yemeng's distorted figure.

His gaze was fixed on her with ill intent, his previous gentlemanly demeanor replaced by a greasy air. A strong sense of unease rose within Ruan Xingzhu; her eyes widened, and she wanted to get up and flee.

But before she could make a move, You Yemeng pressed her down forcefully. She felt a strong force coming from her and fell heavily back onto the bed.

Ruan Xingzhu's eyes widened in shock and fear, her voice trembling as she shouted, "What are you doing? Let me go!"

You Yemeng deliberately only gave her a small amount of sleeping pills, wanting her to be sober and resist but helpless.

Hearing her soft, tearful voice, You Yemeng's heart almost melted. He impatiently took off his cumbersome robes and said slyly, "Beauty, wait, I'll let you taste the pleasure of [illegible] soon."

Even if Ruan Xingzhu was naive and inexperienced, she now knew what You Yemeng wanted to do to her.

A strong will to survive surged within her, and she mustered all her strength to push him away. However, before she could even touch the ground, You Yemeng threw her back onto the bed.

"Why are you running away! I'll make sure you can't get out of bed in a minute!" You Yemeng was no longer the humble man he had been before. His face was contorted with rage, a perfect picture of someone forcing a respectable woman.

Ruan Xingzhu's head slammed heavily against the bedpost, sending a sharp pain through her. Her neatly styled hair instantly became a mess, with strands falling across her pale face. Her vision blurred, her head buzzed, and she momentarily lost the ability to think.

You Yemeng took off his outer shirt and stretched out his greasy, lewd hand, impatiently trying to pull at Ruan Xingzhu's clothes.

Startled by the movement, Ruan Xingzhu instantly regained her senses. She quickly covered her clothes with her hands, crying out loudly for help, "Help! Someone help me..."

However, the louder she shouted, the more excited You Yemeng became. This was a place he had specially found at a high price, with excellent soundproofing.

As he continued what he was doing, he shouted excitedly, "Shout all you want! No one will come to save you even if you shout until your throat is hoarse!"

Looking at the tightly closed door, Ruan Xingzhu felt a surge of despair, and helpless tears streamed down her cheeks. Just as You Yemeng abruptly pulled away her hands that were covering her chest, intending to tear her clothes open…
