Chapter 214: Man's Stubble

Ah Chou looked at Zhong Mingwei's dark chin and felt a little embarrassed: "You want to cut it so short? Otherwise, I'll cut your flesh again."

Ah Chou was not worrying for nothing. Last time, when she was cutting Zhong Mingwei's beard, the beard was too short. She didn't pay attention and it caused her to bleed. Ah Chou was really scared.

"You complained about it being pricked if I didn't trim my beard," Zhong Mingwei said, a little unhappy. "You were hiding from me yesterday and wouldn't let me kiss you."

Ah Chou blushed immediately and said shyly, "Why do you tell everything to others? You have no shame."

"Come here," Zhong Mingwei looked at Ah Chou's blushing face, and felt itchy inside. He put down the bowl in his hand and patted his thigh, "Come here."

"What are you doing? I haven't finished my porridge yet." Ah Chou complained in a low voice. But he still crawled over obediently and nestled in Zhong Mingwei's arms.

"Don't we eat it the same here?" Zhong Mingwei said with a smile, while scooping a spoonful of Laba porridge into Achou's mouth.

"You just have bad intentions..." Ah Chou muttered as he drank the spoonful of porridge, resting his hands on the man's thighs, rubbing them gently.

"Why don't I have bad intentions?" Zhong Mingwei put down the bowl. He put his arms around Ah Chou. He rested his chin on Ah Chou's shoulder and laughed softly into her red ears. "Also, little girl, don't you like me to have bad intentions?"

"Who would like it?" Ah Chou said stubbornly. But he turned away coyly and rubbed his face against Zhong Mingwei's, like a spoiled kitten. "You don't need to cut your beard, it's not too long."

"Really?" Zhong Mingwei asked as he gently rubbed Ah Chou's fair and tender cheek with his chin. His hard stubble caused a dense layer of goose bumps wherever it touched, and his little girl giggled.

"Didn't you say it wouldn't be long?" Zhong Mingwei smiled helplessly at the little girl who was laughing and hiding in his arms.

"No need to cut it, really." Ah Chou stretched out his hand to rub the man's gloomy chin. After rubbing it for a while, he leaned over and kissed him. "Actually... I really like you to prick me with your beard..."

"Really?" Zhong Mingwei was a little bit unconvinced, yet he felt inexplicably happy in his heart.

Achou glared at him and ignored him. Achou was thin-skinned and would never say such embarrassing words a second time. She pursed her bright red lips and reached out to take the bowl of Laba porridge again, but before she stretched out her hand, she was kissed by the man.

The hot lips and tongue attacked her domineeringly, and the hard stubble rubbed her face again and again, making Ah Chou tremble all over. The outstretched hands also trembled, and finally they wrapped around the man's neck tremblingly.

"Was the kiss enjoyable just now?" Zhong Mingwei leaned on the pile of quilts, looking at his little girl kneeling on the kang, rubbing his legs with a red face. Her little mouth was very red. The kiss just now lasted a little long, and it was still slightly swollen. Zhong Mingwei stared at the rosy little mouth without blinking his eyes, and unconsciously reached out to touch his chin. It felt so good, he really wanted to kiss her again.

"Why do you talk so much nonsense?" Ah Chou hated her embarrassing words the most. She glared at him and scooped a lump of ointment to apply on Zhong Mingwei's knees, rubbing them vigorously. "After all, it's ointment from the palace. I know it's good medicine just by smelling it."

The cool ointment was rubbed on his burning knees. Zhong Mingwei closed his eyes and made a "hissing" sound of comfort from his mouth.

"Who was the person who came last time?" Ah Chou asked Zhong Mingwei casually while rubbing his penis, "Why didn't I see him?"

"Pang Yi," Zhong Mingwei did not hide it from Ah Chou, "He has been my confidant since he was a child. Fifteen years ago, I sent him to the army in Southern Xinjiang, and he has never returned. This time, it was because something happened to me that the Queen Mother called him back from Southern Xinjiang."

"Why would you send him to southern Xinjiang for no reason?" Ah Chou was a little curious and tilted his head to look at Zhong Mingwei. "Isn't he your confidant? How could you bear to let him leave Beijing?"

"There's nothing I can do about it," Zhong Mingwei sighed. "The Queen Mother is pushing me toward the throne, but she never lets me get involved in military and political affairs. I can only find another way."

"The Queen Mother doesn't allow you to get involved in military and political affairs?" Ah Chou was even more puzzled. "The Queen Mother lives a life of luxury in the harem, how can she be involved in military and political affairs? How can she hold the military and political power?"
