"Your Highness!" A burly middle-aged man who looked like a martial artist walked in quickly and bowed to Zhong Zhiling.
"Okay, there's no need for so many rules." Zhong Zhiling said slowly, while walking towards the study.
"Isn't this in the capital?" the man said, following behind the Prince of Pingxi with a simple smile on his face. "If others saw that the Prince of Pingxi's mansion was so rude and uncouth, it would damage the reputation of the Prince."
"Forget it. Do you really expect all of you burly generals to become gentlemen?" Zhong Zhiling smiled faintly. "Today I went to the palace to see the emperor, and even my brother despised my behavior. Can a rebellious and rude person like me raise any educated and well-mannered subordinates?"
"Did His Majesty really say that to the prince?" When they reached the door of the study, the man hurriedly opened the door and let Zhong Zhiling in. He followed him in and closed the door again, "I have been worried about the prince at home, but I didn't expect that this time when I came to the palace, the prince and the emperor seemed to be having a good chat."
"Just trying to please him." Zhong Zhiling said calmly. Sitting on the couch, he pointed at the teapot on the table. Then he said to the man, "Haven't you received any news today?"
"Your Highness, I was just about to report this matter," the man stood up and brought the teapot over, pouring tea for Zhong Zhiling. He lowered his voice and said, "Dai Jingfeng has already entered Shaanxi. Your Highness, when should we start?"
"Don't be in a hurry, just follow him for now," Zhong Zhiling took a sip of tea and continued, "Wait until he enters Southern Xinjiang before taking action."
"Yes, I understand."
"By the way, Meng Tan, is there any news from the Turks?" Zhong Zhiling asked again.
"Your Highness, the princess said that everything will be done according to your wishes. Please rest assured," said the man named Meng Tan. He paused again, obviously hesitating for a while, and then said, "The princess has something else to convey to your Highness."
"Oh? What?" Zhong Zhiling seemed surprised. He put down the teacup and looked at Meng Tan.
"The princess said, Your Highness, please accept our condolences." Meng Tan said in a deep voice.
Zhong Zhiling was startled, then he remembered that the day after tomorrow is July 7th. He couldn't help but curl his lips and whispered, "She remembers it better than me every year."
Meng Tan looked at the expression on Zhong Zhiling's face and felt a little complicated. He had a lot to say, but he couldn't say anything. He could only bow and say, "If there is nothing else, I will take my leave first."
"Take out all the cakes outside and let the brothers share them." Zhong Zhiling said to him.
"But that was given to the prince by the Queen Mother. I dare not eat it because it is a gift from the Queen Mother." Meng Tan said hurriedly.
"It's okay, just take it down. It's better than letting the Queen Mother's kindness go to waste." Zhong Zhiling said calmly.
"Yes, thank you very much, Your Highness." Meng Tan immediately retreated with a smile.
Zhong Zhiling sat on the couch, drinking the tea in the cup sip by sip. He was lost in thought as he stared at the blue and white porcelain teacup when he heard the clear chirping of birds outside. Zhong Zhiling turned his head and looked outside, only to see a pair of yellow sparrows flying westward on the pomegranate tree outside the window.

Ningguta.
Nanshan Villa.
Zhong Mingwei was woken up by Mei Ya's kiss. In fact, he woke up when Mei Ya woke up, but he pretended not to wake up and continued to sleep while holding Mei Ya tightly. Then he felt how the little girl carefully came out of his arms. The more careful Mei Ya was, the happier he felt. This girl cared about him so much. Getting up early every morning was a big project, and he was afraid of waking him up. In fact, Zhong Mingwei really wanted to tell Mei Ya that it was okay, no matter how much noise she made, he was awake anyway. But he liked Mei Ya rubbing against him like a little kitten, so he held back and didn't say anything. So he really enjoyed every morning.
But Mei Ya didn't enjoy it at all. Today was Zhong Mingwei's birthday, and she had to make longevity noodles for him. Longevity noodles were not as easy to roll as ordinary noodles, and it would take a lot of effort, so she couldn't stay in bed any longer. But why did this man sleep so soundly? And he held her so tightly!
Mei Ya almost felt like crying.
"Zhong Mingwei, Zhong Mingwei..." After struggling for a long time and failing to get out of the man's arms, Mei Ya had no choice but to grit her teeth and push Zhong Mingwei away. She looked at the man and hummed twice, then turned over, pursing her slightly dry lips.
