Chapter 67 Entering the Tao

Qi Zhiheng has gone into seclusion again.

Yang Yitian was so angry when he heard the news that his teeth ached! He could only pick up the pile of books and flip through them haphazardly.

There were quite a few miscellaneous things in these books. He wasn't interested in most of them, but his gaze finally settled on one of them. Yang Yitian felt that this book was inexplicably attractive to him, so he reached out and grabbed it.

Yang Yitian's lips twitched; the book felt like a brick! It was this thick. The cover looked worn, suggesting it had been frequently read in the past.

The cover of the book had the three large characters "Sacred Talisman Record" written on it, and Yang Yitian guessed that it must be a book related to talismans.

Calling it a sacred talisman seems a bit of an exaggeration; the title itself has a strange sense of embarrassment. Suppressing this awkwardness, he turned to the first page. Was he kidding? Was Yang Yitian the kind of person who was easily embarrassed?

Yang Yitian was immediately drawn into the book. He found the runes both familiar and endearing, and he flipped through the pages, occasionally sketching the various rune patterns he saw in his mind.

Yang Yitian was immersed in the various talismans in the book, forgetting all his previous worries and focusing on memorizing them. He had a feeling that if he had a talisman brush, he could draw these talismans!

It took Yang Yitian five days to finish reading the book. After closing the book, Yang Yitian's eyes also closed.

The surrounding spiritual energy surged and entered Yang Yitian's body. Yang Yitian felt his bottleneck loosen! He broke through the third level of Qi Refining and entered the fourth level of Qi Refining.

Reaching the fourth level of Qi Refining is what people call the cultivation of a Spiritual Being.

The commotion was quite loud and attracted the attention of other people in the Qi household.

Qi Zhiheng also sensed Yang Yitian's change, circulated his spiritual energy through one full cycle, and then brought it into his dantian, thus ending his cultivation.

When Qi Zhiheng walked into the outer room, he saw the surrounding spiritual energy surging and entering Yang Yitian's body. Yang Yitian had his eyes closed and was fast asleep.

Qi Zhiheng was truly exasperated! What a perfect opportunity for enlightenment! And this guy was fast asleep! No way, once Yang Yitian wakes up, he'll definitely forbid him from sleeping anymore! Look at the bad habits he's developed!

Yang Yitian opened his eyes, saw Qi Zhiheng, and exclaimed happily, "Look at me! I've broken through!"

Qi Zhiheng also found it strange; how could he have broken through so suddenly? He asked, "What were you doing just now?"

Yang Yitian held up the book in his hand and said, "I'm reading."

Qi Zhiheng took the book and glanced at it, but after flipping through a few pages, he realized he couldn't understand it at all...

Qi Zhiheng asked, "Can you understand this book?"

Yang Yitian brought the book back and said, "I can understand it. I've read it all."

"Keep this book safe. If I'm not mistaken, you've entered the Dao through talismans." He took out a storage ring, found a suitable-sized one, and slipped it onto Yang Yitian's hand.

This happened to be on his ring finger, and Yang Yitian felt as if he were wearing a wedding ring, even though that wasn't a custom in this world. But that didn't stop him from imagining it!

Qi Zhiheng: "You can put your things here from now on."

Yang Yitian then snapped out of his excitement and shouted even more excitedly, "Portable space!" He immediately put the book in his hand into the space, then took it out again, and then put it back in.

Yang Yitian had always been envious of Qi Zhiheng, seeing him conjure things out of thin air. He never imagined he'd one day own such a treasure, and he couldn't help but chuckle.
