Chapter 1: Traveling Through Time

Ye Han was moving. Just when Ye Han had almost finished packing, a bolt of lightning suddenly struck Ye Han from the roof.

Ye Han felt dizzy and heavy. He opened his heavy eyelids and saw an antique room.

[Where is this?] Ye Han thought to himself as he looked around the room.

"Hanhan, are you awake? Are you feeling unwell?" Ye Han's mother walked in and saw Ye Han, whose eyes were open and looking around. She quickly walked to the bedside.

Ye Han looked at this well-maintained woman, dressed in a low-key yet elegant manner. Suddenly, his mind was flooded with memories that did not belong to him.

\"Headache." Ye Han's little face was almost wrinkled into a bun.

\"Xiao Tao, go and get the doctor quickly." Ye ordered the maid beside her.

"Yes, ma'am." Then he ran out

At this time, Ye Han was digesting the memories in his mind that did not belong to him.

Through his memories, Ye Han knew his current situation. The noble lady in front of him was his current mother, the wife of General Ye of the Dai Viet Dynasty and the mistress of the general's mansion. He was the eldest daughter of the general's mansion.

\"Mom, I'm fine, I just had a little headache, but I'm much better now." Ye Han looked at Ye with his eyes wide open.

Seeing that Ye Han looked okay, Ye Shi felt relieved.

\"Look at you, ah, why are you climbing trees for no reason? Isn't this big a yard big enough for you to play? Climbing a tree? Look at you, how do you look like a girl?\" Ye Shi couldn't help but scold Ye Han, and she became more and more angry as she talked.

"Mom, I know I was wrong. I won't do it again next time." Ye Han saw that the situation was not right and quickly admitted his mistake. In this situation, he had to coax Ye away first so that he could think about what to do next. Ye Han's mind was a mess. He could only deal with the current situation.

"Hmph, you know you're wrong now? You should recover first. I'll settle the score with you when you're well." Ye said angrily. Ye Han had been in a coma for a whole day after falling from a tree out of mischief, which had frightened the whole family.

\"Madam, the doctor is here."\" Xiaotao walked quickly to Ye's side and bowed.

\"Please come in quickly.\"

"Meet the madam."

"Hurry up and show it to the lady."

Upon hearing this, the doctor quickly stood up and took Ye Han's pulse.

"Madam, Miss Ye is not seriously ill. She just needs to rest for a few days. Be careful not to get the wound wet."

\"Okay, thank you, Xiaotao, for sending the doctor off." When Ye heard that Ye Han was fine, the heavy stone in her heart was immediately put down.

\"Doctor, please come this way."\" When they reached the door, Xiao Tao took out a silver ingot and stuffed it into the doctor's hand. \"I'm sorry to bother you with the trip. This is a gift from our lady. Please accept it." After all, Xiao Tao was the head maid who had followed Madam Ye for many years, and her manners were impeccable.

The doctor looked at the silver in his hand, feeling delighted, but he didn't show it on his face. "Thank you, madam."

Looking at Ye Han again, after the doctor left, Mrs. Ye continued to scold Ye Han. Ye Han listened with a headache and quickly begged for mercy.

"Mom, I really know I'm wrong!" Ye Han said coquettishly, hugging Madam Ye's arm. Madam Ye truly loved Ye Han, or rather, everyone in General Ye's household loved her. Otherwise, in a feudal society where women held relatively low status, a girl as bold as Ye Han wouldn't have been raised. This was all the result of the whole family's pampering.

Ye Shi was a little overwhelmed by Ye Han's coquettishness, but she still hardened her heart and said, "You are not allowed to leave your yard for the next half month. Just focus on your studies. I have hired a teacher for you."

"Ah!! Mom, can we skip classes?" Ye Han finally graduated in modern times, but he didn't expect to have to go through it all again now.

Ye Shi gave him a look, and Ye Han immediately became timid. "I'll do it, isn't it okay for me to do it?"

Ye gave some more instructions and left, leaving Ye Han crying in her heart.

After wailing for a while, Ye Han began to think about his current situation.

This body of mine is already six years old. My father is a general of the Dai Viet Dynasty, holding the highest rank. He is considered one of the most powerful nobles in the entire Dai Viet Dynasty. I have two older brothers, and I am the youngest and the only girl. From my parents to my brothers, I can say that they all dote on me. My eldest brother, Ye Sheng, is 15 years old this year and is the prince's companion. He will most likely become a scholar in the future. My second brother, Ye Ling, is 10 years old this year, but he is not interested in the court at the moment. Instead, he is interested in business and is very talented. My father's family is relatively clean. He has two concubines, but there has been no trouble. He has no half-brothers or half-sisters. All three of General Ye's children are born to the Ye family.

As for myself, I started to learn calligraphy, painting, poetry, dance etiquette, various schools of thought, housekeeping skills, etc. at the age of five.

When Ye Han learned this, she nearly fainted. [Goodness! Wasn't it said in ancient times that women's virtue lay in their lack of talent? How did she learn so much?] Talents, etiquette, the Four Books and Five Classics, women's precepts, even miscellaneous studies, military tactics, and so on. It could be said that she learned everything boys learned, and even things boys didn't need to learn.

The saying "a woman's virtue lies in her lack of talent" was only followed by the poor, while children from wealthy families received an elite education. After all, a daughter of a wealthy family like Ye Han would essentially become the head of the household when she married. Without some talent, how could she manage such a large family? After all, the role of a matron of a large family wasn't solely focused on backyard romances and jealousy. Not only did she have to manage hundreds of people, but she also managed the family's income and expenses, and even socialized with the ladies.
