Ye Han looked at the situation in the room and couldn't help but hold his forehead.
"What is this?" Yue Chengyu stepped out of the door and saw cardboard boxes and packaging bags piled up like a mountain. He turned and looked at Ye Han.
"Don't look at me, just clean up." When Ye Han saw the scene in the room, he immediately rolled up his sleeves and prepared to clean up.
"Where should I start?" Yue Chengyu recalled his limited experience in cleaning the room, but found that he didn't know where to start when faced with this situation.
"Uh..." Ye Han looked at the cardboard boxes in the room. The opened and unopened packages were mixed together. He was puzzled for a moment. Looking at the house that was not much better than a garbage dump, he pondered for a while and said uncertainly, "How about we clean up these cardboard boxes first?"
"Um."
After hearing this, Yue Chengyu rolled up his sleeves, squatted down, and started sorting the boxes. Ye Han didn't act pretentiously and squatted down directly to clean up with Yue Chengyu.
"What is this?" Ye Han received an unopened package, looked at the delivery slip, but still couldn't make out anything.
Yue Chengyu also looked over when he heard this. "What is it? Such a big box?"
"I don't know. I bought too many things and forgot. Wait a minute, I'll go find someone to open the courier." After saying that, he stood up and started rummaging around in the living room, and finally found a utility knife in the drawer at the entrance.
"Here it is, open it and see what it is."
With a swish, the blade cut through the sealing tape. Ye Han looked at the things inside. "This looks like the Lego I bought for Yan Yu. I'll bring it to him tomorrow." Ye Han took out the things inside, opened the carton, and put it aside.
The two men unpacked the rubbish while they were working on the delivery. They packed the plastic bags together, ready to throw away. They unpacked the cardboard boxes, flattened them, and stacked them. They even found a small spray bottle, filled it with water, and sprayed the boxes.
Yue Chengyu looked at Ye Han's actions and was very confused. "What is this for?"
"Weighing." Ye Han blurted out without thinking.
Ye Han looked at Yue Chengyu, who didn't quite understand, and continued to explain, "These are recyclable garbage and can be sold for money."
Yue Chengyu understood now, "My little Ye Zi is really thrifty." He replied after a moment of silence.
"That's right, I am a person who respects money." Ye Han replied with a smile.
It was already noon when the two of them finished packing up the pile of express cartons and plastic bags. Ye Han didn't care whether the clothes could still be washed out and just sat cross-legged on the ground. Yue Chengyu was not much better and also sat on the ground.
Ye Han looked at his watch and said, "Let's eat first and clean up the rest after dinner."
Yue Chengyu nodded in agreement.
"What do you want to eat?" Ye Han took out his cell phone and prepared to order takeout.
"Anything is fine."
"Just eat something?"
"Yeah." The two of them sat down and started ordering. They ended up ordering three dishes: one meat, one vegetable, and one cold dish. They also ordered three servings of rice.
However, Ye Han looked down at his and Yue Chengyu's clothes, which were covered in dust. He bought two sets of clothes for each of them, as well as some towels.
"Let's put these outside the door first." After ordering the takeout, Ye Han looked at the pile of cardboard boxes and saw that they took up too much space, so he said to Yue Chengyu.
Receiving Ye Han's eye signal, Yue Chengyu silently stood up and carried the cardboard boxes, which were almost half a person's height, out the door in batches.
"Interview the prince. How does it feel to come to modern times for the first time?" Ye Han winked at Yue Chengyu after seeing Yue Chengyu coming back.
"Princess, are you talking about the feeling of working?"
"You can talk about it."
"I'm not tired, it just feels magical."
"We're not going to spend the day doing housework, are we?"
"It seems so." Yue Chengyu looked around and looked at the dusty house, then nodded affirmatively.
"Come on, let's see if the tools at home are still usable. They've been sitting there for so long." Ye Han said as he stood up, dusted off the dirt on his body, and walked towards the bathroom. Yue Chengyu followed him.
Arriving at the bathroom, Ye Han first checked the faucets. Finding everything was working properly, he breathed a sigh of relief. He then checked the mop, the washing machine, and so on.
Finally, he found the vacuum cleaner in a corner of the living room, turned it on, and found that it was still working properly. Ye Han thought it might be the system's fault. After such a long time, except for the dust, all other equipment did not look like it had not been used for a long time.
By the time Ye Han finished checking all the equipment inside and outside the house, the takeaway arrived.
After getting the food and clothes, Ye Han placed the food on the dining table. He handed the bag of men's clothing to Yue Chengyu. "Change your clothes first. They're all dusty."
Yue Chengyu nodded and took the clothes. However, he did not move. Ye Han was puzzled. "What are you standing there for?"
"I don't know how to wear it." Yue Chengyu said very calmly.
"Come on, I'll teach you." The two of them entered the bedroom. After a while, Yue Chengyu, who had changed his clothes, was pushed out the door.
Yue Chengyu, who was wheeled out, had already changed out of the dark purple robe he'd come in with. He was now wearing a black short-sleeved shirt and black shorts. The main feature was that it was durable and easy to work with. Yue Chengyu looked down at his outfit, feeling somewhat uncomfortable with the exposed arms and legs.
He tugged at his own clothes and muttered to himself, "Are these Hua family clothes really too economical with fabric? They're cool, though. I wonder what Xiaoye's clothes are like? I wonder if they're also that economical with fabric."
