The next day, a gorgeous carriage stopped at the gate of the county government office. A well-dressed servant stepped forward and shouted, "County Magistrate Lu, my son was assaulted last night in your territory. The attacker claimed to be the magistrate's father. I have brought my son here today to seek an explanation."
As soon as these words were spoken, Lu Wen hurriedly ordered someone to take the carriage to the backyard.
After the carriage stopped, the curtain was drawn open, revealing a man with a bruised face and bandages all over his body lying inside.
