It was already past ten o'clock in the evening when Gu Changqing came back, but unlike the previous two times, this time he unloaded all the things into his own small courtyard. Gu Zhiguo took off his cotton-padded jacket and put on his coat slowly, grinning, "It fits."
Song Mei followed in and saw Qiu Lanying's clothes and said sourly, "Old Five is really thoughtful, but he never thought about us as his brother and sister-in-law."
"Have you thought about your brothers and sisters?" Qiu Lanying took off her new clothes and put them in a bag, planning to wear them tomorrow. "You're not willing to give things to others, but you're just trying to take advantage of them. How dare you be so shameless?"
Song Mei's face turned red and she couldn't take her eyes off the clothes.
Gu Changqing looked down on her and said, "I'll go get some clothes for Zhenzhen."
"Go ahead." Qiu Lanying took Gu Zhiguo's and packed it up. "Come back early. We have a lot of things to do."
Gu Changqing responded, went back to the house to put his things down before going to the educated youth site.
It has been more than a month since I last saw Bai Ruozhen. Gu Changqing dreams of Bai Ruozhen every night when he is away. Sometimes they hold hands, sometimes they kiss secretly. No matter which one, it makes him miss Bai Ruozhen even more.
