A few days later, it was the weekend. Bai Ruozhen and Gu Xiaoli went back to Xiahe Village, stayed at home for one night and then returned to Yancheng. Originally, Qiu Lanying asked Gu Xiaoli to stay at home, but Gu Xiaoli swore that Bai Ruozhen was afraid to live alone at night, so she packed her bags and followed Bai Ruozhen away.
After leaving the village, Gu Xiaoli breathed a sigh of relief. "Finally, I wasn't forced to stay at home."

The two men who were fighting fiercely heard the noise and hurriedly put on their clothes.
Bai Ruozhen pulled Gu Xiaoli and turned to run. When Gu Xiaoli turned around, she only saw two big white butts.
"Bai Ruozhen!"
Not long after they ran out, they heard Zhao Lai Di calling her from behind.
Bai Ruozhen glared at Gu Xiaoli angrily and stood there without moving. The footsteps behind him approached and then stopped.
"Did you see it?" Zhao Laidie's voice seemed to be smiling, without any fear or anger of being discovered.
Bai Ruozhen nodded without turning around.
Zhao Lai Di chuckled and turned to face her. "Are you angry?"
Bai Ruozhen turned his eyes away, not wanting to look at her, and did not say anything.
"It's just this matter, what's the big deal?" Zhao Lai Di smiled nonchalantly. "You're already so old, you might be inseparable from this place for the rest of your life. Instead of looking for a country boy, it's better to find someone like Li Ming. At least he's good-looking and clean."
Gu Xiaoli on the side was already stunned.
Bai Ruozhen glanced back and saw that Li Ming had already left. He turned around and said to Zhao Laidi, "Zhao Laidi, you disappoint me so much."
"Why should I be disappointed? It's a matter of mutual consent." Zhao Lai Di chuckled.
Bai Ruozhen frowned, "Li Ming is married and has children, what are you trying to achieve?"
"For his health, okay?" Zhao Lai Di continued smiling. "He's strong and healthy, and he makes me happy when he does things."
