Bai Ruozhen glanced at Gu Xiaoli with understanding, then said, "Then you can't blame me."
Gu Xiaoli pouted and glared at Gu Changqing. Whether she was happy to come back was one thing, but what was infuriating was that her fifth brother actually despised him. But she also despised her fifth brother quite a bit.

When Bai Ruozhen looked again, Gu Xiaoli was already asleep, but she was not sleeping soundly, with her brows tightly furrowed, and she seemed very sad.
Bai Ruozhen tucked in the quilt for her and turned off the lights to go to sleep. In the middle of the night, she seemed to hear a knock on the door in a daze.
Bai Ruozhen put on his shoes and came out, and saw Gu Changqing coming out as well. They were both wondering who would come so late at night.
"You wait here, I'll go take a look." Gu Changqing said as he turned on the flashlight and went to open the door.
Bai Ruozhen was standing in the yard when he heard the door open and then the sound of talking. After a while, Gu Changqing came back, followed by a man who was slightly shorter than Gu Changqing, but his back was very straight.
"Who is it?" Bai Ruozhen asked.
Gu Changqing stopped in front of her and looked back, "Let's talk inside."
