After a delicious dinner, Gu Changqing sent Bai Ruozhen and Gu Xiaoli to the guesthouse. On the way, Gu Xiaoli asked, "Fifth brother, where are we going tomorrow?"
Gu Changqing thought for a moment and said, "How about we go to the transportation company and have a look?"
Gu Xiaoli curled her lips. "What's so interesting about a transportation company? I'm not going."
"Then where do you want to go?" Although the question was asked by Gu Xiaoli, her eyes were looking at Bai Ruozhen.
Bai Ruozhen didn't care, "Anywhere is fine."
Gu Xiaoli waved her hand. "Forget it, forget it. I have to go back tomorrow afternoon. I'll just go buy clothes with Fourth Sister tomorrow morning. I can't go anywhere."
"How about we go buy clothes?" Gu Changqing looked at Bai Ruozhen.

Gu Xiaoli and Bai Ruozhen got up early the next morning. Bai Ruozhen took out the clothes that Gu Changqing had bought for her and put them on. She also found a pair of clean socks and put them on, then put on plastic sandals and a pair of black straight pants. She looked good no matter how you looked at her.
Gu Xiaoli said enviously, "Sister Zhenzhen, you're so pretty."
Bai Ruozhen smiled, "Little Pear is pretty too."
No one in the Gu family is ugly, but the best-looking one is Gu Changqing. Gu Xiaoli is not ugly either. If it weren't for Bai Ruozhen, she would also be the most beautiful in Xiahe Village. Gu Changqing grinned and said, "I miss you. I want to see you soon."
"My teeth are sore." Gu Xiaoli appeared from behind Bai Ruozhen, "Tsk tsk, Fifth Brother, you are so smooth-talking."
Gu Changqing was startled and looked at Bai Ruozhen hurriedly, "Zhenzhen, I'm telling the truth, not just talking nonsense."
"Yeah." Bai Ruozhen smiled, "I believe you."
This sentence made Gu Changqing's heart suddenly burst into joy. He glanced at Gu Xiaoli with pride and said, "Did you hear that? Learn from your sister Zhenzhen and stop talking nonsense every day."
Gu Xiaoli immediately rolled her eyes at him.
After finishing the cleaning, Gu Changqing took them to the department store to find Gu Changlan. Gu Changlan was tidying up the counter. Seeing them coming, she hurriedly called them to the back and said, "Wait a moment. I'll find some fabric for you when I'm done."
The three of them waited for Gu Changlan to finish her work. Gu Changlan searched under the counter and found two pieces of cloth. "You can use these to make clothes. I've already paid for them."
Gu Changqing said, "How much is it? I'll give it to you. I also have cloth coupons."
"Get lost, it's none of your business." Gu Changlan snarled at him impatiently, "This is my birthday present for Zhenzhen. If you want to give me something else, give me another one. Just give the watch away."
Gu Changqing glanced at Bai Ruozhen resentfully, "She doesn't want it."
"No, Sister Changlan, I won't take the fabric if you give it to me for free. It's not easy for you to earn money." Bai Ruozhen refused again.
Gu Changlan was unhappy and stuffed the cloth into her arms, "Take it, or I'll be angry."
Bai Ruozhen glanced at her and saw that she seemed to be really angry, so he nodded quickly, "Okay, I'll take it. Thank you, Fourth Sister."
Seeing that she accepted Gu Changlan, he became happy and said, "That's right."
Bai Ruozhen pursed his lips and smiled. Gu Changlan was stunned for a moment, then touched her face, "Oh, this little face looks even better when it smiles. Lao Wu, you must hurry up and marry her home, otherwise it will be terrible if someone snatches her away."
Gu Changqing stood up straight and saluted cheerfully, "Yes, Chief."
After getting the fabric, Bai Ruozhen took them to buy ready-made clothes. Gu Changqing picked and chose, wanting to buy Bai Ruozhen a skirt, but unfortunately, they were all sold out. Finally, Bai Ruozhen pointed at a green military uniform with sparkling eyes and said, "Brother Changqing, I want the green one."
Gu Changqing was surprised, "Green military uniform?"
"Hmm, so beautiful." Bai Ruozhen looked at the green military uniform with admiration, and suddenly remembered the two people in military uniforms he saw on the street yesterday.

The salesperson was cheerful and not angry. He wrote out an invoice for the two sets of clothes, took Gu Changqing's money and cloth coupons, and then passed the items to the finance department with a clip. After a while, the invoice was returned with a stamp on it. The salesperson packed the clothes and handed them to Gu Changqing.
The salesperson said to Bai Ruozhen, "Little girl, you are very lucky to have found such a good in-law family."
Bai Ruozhen pretended to be shy and nodded, "Thank you, sister."
"Oh, that sound is really nice." The salesperson smiled.
After buying the clothes, Gu Changlan said to Gu Changqing, "You go wait outside, we will take Zhenzhen to buy some other things."
"Then I'll just pay as well." said Gu Changqing.
Gu Changlan glared, "Are you afraid that I won't spend money on your partner?"
Bai Ruozhen didn't know what he was going to do, so he just followed obediently.
